Following the sent, Nick moved quickly through the crowds of people. He absolutely refused to allow his target to escape. Standing at the entrance of a rather shabby apartment building, Nick dug deep to take the first steps inside. He knew once he passed that door, there is always the chance he won't be able to leave again. Even still, he was not ready to leave things as they were. It was only a matter of time before Connor sent more to drag Jin back. After all, he didn't view those under him as people. To him, they held no value more than the shoes on his feet. Moving from floor to floor, Nick finally found where the stench was the strongest, apartment 6G. Standing before the door, Nick stopped and listened. Faint breathing could be heard coming from within but no movement. Knocking on the door, Nick waited. Footsteps could be heard approaching the door from inside. With the door open in front of him, Nick stared at the burly man within. His build was exceptional even for his short stature. His beard was a thick sea of black reaching far passed his shoulders.
"Who the hell are you and what in Gods name gives you the right to disturb my sleep? You clearly don't work for Connor because I'd know you. So, where the hell di you come from?" The man within the doorway seemed irritated with the sheer existence of Nick. Even still, he decided to question Nick rather than come at him. Seeing that Nick wasn't answering him as quickly as he'd have liked, the burly man's anger heightened.
"I will answer your questions once you answer mine. It's only a single question so I don't foresee you needing to take long to answer it. Do you work for Connor?" Nick ignored the clear rage building within the man before him and leaped straight to the reason he was here. If this man worked for Connor then he could not be permitted to live. If not, then he could be used. Well, used is a rather crude way to put it. He would undoubtedly be usefully to Nick's goals if he opposed Connor's rule.
Baffled that someone whom knew of Connor would dare be this ballsy in front of him, the burly man became furious. "You dare speak to me like that? Do you have any idea what will happen to you if you disrespect me? I'm one of the Lieutenants serving under Connor. Disrespecting me is the same as disrespecting..." He wasn't even able to finish his sentence before Nick socked him in the gut, sending him hurtling for the far wall within the apartment. Spitting blood, the burly man forced himself to prop himself from the floor and look at the approaching Nick.
"Tell me where I can find Connor and I may just let you live. For the sake of my unborn child, I will remove him from existence one way or another." Nick's eyes were empty. His murderous intent was flooding the room instilling fear in the body of the man that lay before him. Even still, this burly man retained his own mental reason. Hearing the words that came from Nick's mouth, he was confused. He knew better than anyone that it was impossible for beasts to reproduce.
