After carefully digesting the information and explanation Antonio offered, he and Nick began a long discussion on where they each stood in terms of Connor's existence. Although Nick's stance was firm and rooted within history, Antonio's position baffled even Nick. Long has he been sickened by the dictatorship that is Connor. His merciless rule over an entire pack as well as his outlook on their species was sickening to him. He preached the concept of Darwinism and Marxism. Survival of the fittest and to be fit you must work. Only though work can one eat. The outlook he forced onto those under him was that they will forever be inferior to him.
Nick now fully understood the workings of the pack as well as the tyrannical rule they suffer under. With this information, he began devising a plot to overthrow Connor and eliminate him from existence. Invoke an internal strife that would surmount to a revolution. Antonio offered up his support once he had returned to the pack. The two agreed that only when the uprising was in full effect would Nick surface and break the people from enslavement. The two exchanged contacts utilizing aliases in order to hide their true intentions before separating.

Having obtained an ally in his personal conflict, Nick felt jubilated. He hastily began his return home. Something he believed he would never truly have again but as the saying goes, where ever Jin awaited was home for him. He never had any sense of materialism, yet, he stopped by several stores as he made his way out of the city. He has been gone for far to long in his opinion and wanted to buy something for the woman whom he loved unconditionally.
Knowing how rocky the road ahead will be made him feel guilty. He knew that he would need to bring her understanding to the level his is now before the act truly begins, but he is unsure as to how to go about telling her what he had been up to this whole time. Even with the long trip home, Nick still could not think of a way in which he considered acceptable. 'Hey! I lied to you' does not seem to be the best approach but all the others he thought of were either excuses or simple rewording. That seemed unacceptable to him which is why for the last forty five minutes, he has remained staring at the door to their apartment.
Lost in deep thought, he was ripped back to reality when the door abruptly swung open and he was face to face with Jin once more. She looked at him with confusion for a moment before she finally opened her mouth. "So, are you just going to stand outside like the idiot you are or will you come tell me what's been bugging you the last few months?" Concern could be heard in her tone as well as a hint of annoyance. She had noticed the moment Nick had arrived and was ready at the door to embrace him. 'Why won't he just come in?'
Nick hesitated, looking towards his own feet unable to look her in the eyes. Guilty was etched all over his face. This made Jin feel uneasy. The only thing that could come to her mind was he'd cheated on her. The thought left her mind even more quickly than it had surfaced. She noticed his odd behavior long before he had left for work. Unable to find any answers while at the door she grabbed his wrist and forced him into the apartment.
