"You're hiding something from me." She said, looking up at him while sitting on the couch. Her foster parents finally left but they gave her a warning about taking the property from her.
"Who are you? What do you need from me? Why are you pretending to be a caretaker?" She asked those questions but he didn't answer. He knelt in front of her and when he held her hand, she shoved him away.
"When will you tell me the truth? Are you planning to keep your secret forever? Do you need my money?" She asked him more. He reached for her cheek and her eyes widened when she could clearly see him.
"W-what are you?" She slapped his hand away and looked around. She is no longer blind. She can see everything now.
"You can see me now. That's what I can do for you." He said, standing up to keep a distance from her since he will show another thing to her.
"To satiate your curiosity, I will tell you the truth." He whispered and his black wings appeared behind him. She covered her lips, moving back a little while staring at him.
"Are you scared now? The one that you like since that day is not a human." His eyes turned bright red. It's either she will accept him for what he is or she will hate him.
She stood up and walked towards him. She doesn't know if she will be thankful that she can see things already. She remembered when he asked her about demons. He was giving hints for what he really is. When he said that he doesn't have any knowledge about love, she just thought that he never got into a relationship.
"You're a demon.." She mumbled as she noticed the black ink that crawled on his neck. She touched it but it was just going up to his face.
"You're too pure to be my bride." He held her hand and kissed it. She stared deep in his eyes and she felt like being hypnotized.
"If I marry you, what will happen?" She asked and he started licking her fingers. She had goosebumps while watching him.
As a demon, he had too much control over his lust for her. He doesn't want to scare her after all. Now that she can see already, he will need something in return. It is to be his bride. If she is able to accept him, she will need to kill herself because taking her own life is a mortal sin. He needs her soul and she will be reincarnated in the underworld. Once it is finished, his father will give him the King's throne and she will be the Queen.
"I will need your soul and you will be the mother of my children." He held her chin and licked her cheek. She gripped on his shirt tightly and closed an eye.
"How many months do we still have to stay in this world?" She asked once more and he smirked. His lips trailed her neck and gently bit it. She winced in pain and she felt like he was sucking her energy.
"Less than five months left." When he answered, his black wings covered them. She shut her eyes, feeling weak and unable to move.
They ended up in his room, kissing senselessly while listening to him because he kept on telling her how much he wanted her. His wings disappeared and his eyes went back to normal. She hugged him tight while catching her breath. She thought he would take her body but he didn't. She still can't believe that she is no longer blind.
"Why didn't you take me?" She asked and he kept his head buried on the crook of her neck. He caressed her cheek and she smiled softly.
"If I will take you, you will just remember what happened to you last month. I don't want to force you. I'll wait for you to give yourself to me again just like you did that night." Her smile grew wider and she nodded.
With his words, she felt less afraid of him. They said that demons are scary but why is he acting like an angel instead? If this is just for a show, she will definitely get sad. It feels like she is taming him. She hugged him tighter and chuckled softly. He lifted his head to look at her.
"Why? Is there something funny?" He asked and quickly nodded. He furrowed his brows and sat up on the bed. She couldn't stop smiling, so she squished his cheeks between her palms.
"You're a demon but it feels like you're not." She gently pecked his lips a few times and he just stared at him. It's not like he wanted to do that.
Her cries affect him the most. His heart will throb so fast and it will be painful for his human body. Another reason why he doesn't want to see her cry is because of his nature as a demon. He will feel happy to see her suffering. It is such a complicated situation but he's doing his best to keep everything equal. They went back to the living room after that. He stared at her and started thinking if she accepted him for what he is or is she still deciding about it.
"I will cook for us today, okay?" She asked but he just kept on staring at her. She pinched his cheeks but she squealed loudly when he started tickling her.
He carried her to the couch and tickled her more. She took the pillow to cover her sides but it was useless. Her eyes widened when the bead container fell on the floor and it scattered the remaining beads for the bracelet. She quickly sat up and picked up the empty container.
"Hikaru, help me." She said while picking up the beads. He pulled her gently to his lap and took the container from her.
"Let me do it." He said and he used telekinesis to gather the beads and put it back inside. Her eyes widened in amusement. It was her first time to see him using one of his powers.
"Do it again. Do it again." She said and he placed it on the coffee table. He shook his head and got the remote control to turn the television on.
"Are you a kid? It looks like you just saw magic." He said and he turned the channel into the movie ones.
"But it was magic. Do it again, please?" She pouted, wrapping her arms around his shoulders while leaving tiny pecks on his cheek.
"You really want to see another one? I can kill our neighbor right now." He said. She rolled her eyes and puffed her cheeks. He smiled cheekily and rested his chin on her shoulder, feeling amused with her annoyed face.
