'Status' Zura spoke from his subconscious mind, however nothing appeared in his line of sight. {Status} Zura spoke through his conscious mind and then it appeared.
'So, I cannot command the functions of the system unless the system can hear my command. I wonder if there is way around that? I'll approach it later. For now,'
Zura focused his attention on the status screen that was currently fully occupying his line of sight and even though he could see through it if he wanted, it still caused a slight inconvenience.

'The unknown passive abilities, though I'm not certain should be my subconscious mind and my will. Those are currently the only innate aspects of myself that the system cannot touch, thus failing to comprehend. Though, that does make me wonder why they are even indicated if the system cannot monitor them. Perhaps that means that there is a way for the system to gain access or at my status screen to, however either I or the system do not yet know how?'
{Status} The text vanished from his sight.
Since gaining information on the system interface, Zura has gone out to hunt for nourishment. However, so far all that has been found are insects, and insects, and more insects. However, his search continued.
'This is the upper part of the dungeon where the lower tier beasts spawn. Yet, I have not seen a single tier 1 or tier 2 beast yet.
Zura flew through the dungeon. Veering left and right, making sudden stops, only to drop quickly towards the ground before swooping back up again and doing a loop. Allowing himself to get fully comfortable exerting the full range of his wings. He felt like they could do more. He felt like he could do more. However, just when he was about to try to do a vertical spin, he caught sight of what could only be called his first real prey. There in the distance just about turn the corner he caught the back half of the body of a relatively small lizard around 3 pounds and the half he saw only came to 6 inches. It looked to be the perfect first true meal. Zura spread his wings and swooped forward soaring straight ahead towards the corner where the lizard turned, then he came to a sudden stop.
'Whew, I got too excited for a moment, thinking this was a game.'
{Echolocation} Zura felt what could be described as a bubble building up in his stomach only to have it travel up past his chest, through his throat, and out of his mouth, as the sound waves bounced off the cave walls and traveled further ahead around the corner. The picture was clear and Zura once again sped forward, only this time, he was soaring diagonally towards the ground.
Zura reached the bottom of the corner in the span of 5 seconds, then he stopped and swiftly turned it, expecting to appear behind the lizard and pounce on it from behind, however when he turned the corner he saw the lizard staring directly at him.
Zura did not panic, but he knew he fucked up. The lizard held no fear of him.
The lizard's eyes turned silver and Zura felt an acute sense of danger. Like his body was about to be stabbed, but he couldn't quite tell where, as he spread his wings in a bid to rush towards the ceiling, however his maneuver was not fast enough. As Zura flapped his wings and sent his body higher, he suddenly found himself lowering on his right side, as his eyes widened while beckoning for the ceiling up above to welcome him back into its embrace, only to continue falling towards the ground as his right wing had suddenly not only become stiff, but also heavier than his entire body. He smashed into the ground and heard the sound of stone crumbling and for a second he believed that his body had caused the stone of the dungeon ground to shatter, that is until his head turned, saw that he was missing the majority of his wing, and that is when his senses finally caught up with the physical sensation. Zura had known pain before. In his training he broke many bones, some more than once. He had even gotten shot, 3 times. However, in that moment, he felt the single greatest physical pain shoot from his right wing to every single part of his body in the span a second, and he screamed for the first time from pain in perhaps his entire life. He raised his head to the ceiling and screamed and for a moment, his subconscious mind registered something that his conscious could not, due to the only thought occupying it {pain}. He was certain he registered the surrounding walls shake for a split second, and that is when he felt it. He was not sure whether it was an idea that simply occurred, true instinct, or just a innate belief, however in that moment, he knew he could do it. He stopped screaming. Lowered his head to look at the lizard that he noticed at that moment had moved back a few paces, and then he summoned it. The lizard blinked its eyes again and he saw its eyes begin to gloss over the yellow with the silver, however it was already too late, for both of them. There was no going back. He had already breathed in. Zura held that breath in only for a moment and just when he was about to let it out, he brought his mind out of his subconscious, fully into his conscious for perhaps the first time since he was kid, and focused solely on the pain, and then he screamed. A blast of sonic energy waves shot out from his mouth as he flew backwards, but not before seeing that upon coming into contact with the sonic wave, the first volley propelled the lizard into the air, the second stopped the lizard in mid-air, and the third caused the lizard's body to explode into hundreds of tiny pieces, as its blood and guts splattered onto the wall. Zura fell backwards, spreading his left wing in order to hopefully slow his descent, and then collided with the ground. *Thunk*
He could not help but laugh. 'When liquidizing meat, don't forget the lid.' Then, he fainted.
