After Khanum disappeared, Luna and Violet looked at the stunned faces around the balcony. They couldn't even wrap their heads around what happened.
Arlen shook his head.
"Girls," He said. The girls turned around to see King Oleander with an unreadable face. "Come with us," He said. The fathers guided their daughters' to the castle's war room.
"Father, what are we doing here?" Luna asked. Standing at the table with his arms behind his back, he took a deep breath.
"Years before you two were born and before we defeated Khanum. I was put under a powerful spell. It trapped me inside my mind. I was dreaming, and reliving memories. But my dreams transformed into a vision. I watched 2 figures shrouded by bright light, rise in the air in front of Khanum, and when I looked back he was gone." Arlen Explained. "Your mother broke the spell and escaped. I told the other rulers of my vision, and they shared theirs." Arlen told. "Your father did not know what his vision meant until an old witch explained it as a prophecy. Not knowing when they would come, we took the rest of our forces, and took back Zyfindia." Oleander finished, "I shared the same vision, we never knew why until now. After seeing what you did today we realized that you two are those very warriors." Oleander finished.
Luna and Violet looked at each other dumbfounded. "WHAT?!" They exclaimed. "I'm not the only one who has seen these visions." Arlen Claimed, "Yes, the other rulers had visions of their own. I cannot recall them now." Oleander said holding his head.
"You have fulfilled our prophecy, it's only a matter of time before the next is fulfilled," Arlen said "The best plan of action is to head to the Deir Kingdom. Talk to King Nasier about his vision. Maybe it will give you clues to the next warrior. " Oleander finished. Violet and Luna looked at each other. Silently wondering what lies ahead of them. "King Nasier was one of the 5 people who helped us defeat Khanums army. We'll send word ahead of time." Arlen explained. The girls nodded in agreement.
In a dark place, without their knowledge, Khanum was using his magic to watch over Luna and Violet. "Hmmm, so these girls are to defeat me? Let's see how well these princesses can do..." he chuckled into a laugh watching the girls' faces of worry appear on his hand before he crushed his hands together ridding himself of the images of the girls.
