Raquel is a fucking mystery. So, the bathroom is an outhouse. Beulah told us to use the outhouse if we had to go to the bathroom, if we went out we had to take a grocery bag in there, so we could do number two and throw it somewhere.
There is a small wooded area behind the bathroom. It stinks.
We played in the sandbox again. "I kissed Janna." said Raquel coming over to Uma and I. "Ok..." I shrugged. "He put his tongue in my mouth." she smirked. "I kiss better than you."
At first I was like, who is she talking to, but then Uma said, "I don't care."
"Yes you do." Raquel put her hands on her hips. "I stole yo man."
"We never was together." Uma expressed. She looked at me, "Janna is a fucking pervert."
"We was all in the barn looking at each other." Raquel boasted. "Are you retarded?" I made a face.
"What you mean, y'all was looking at each other?" asked Clayton.
"He saw my breast."
"You not grown!" Wayo snickered from afar. "You have a wall!"
"I don't have a wall! Walls keep the house up!" Raquel shouted. "Walls is also yo fuckin' chest!"
"Clayton, shut up!"
"Imma tell y'all trying to goose. Nasty ass kids..." he walked off. Raquel gasped and grabbed him quickly. "Girl get off me!"
"You can't tell!"
"I can tell!"
The two of them look so goofy grabbing on each other. Raquel has his shirt in her fist and Clayton keeps trying to rip her hands away and push her. "Will y'all stop..." I said.
"Let me go bitch!" Clayton rose his hand and smacked Raquel across the face. She let go and started crying about her face hurting. Clayton bent down and hit her again with his fist balled up. His eyes turned pink.
"Oh dear..."
"Clay! Get off!" Wayo put his body over Raquel's. Clayton hissed, "MOVE!"
"Nah! Man, you need to calm down!"
"Lord have mercy..." I rested my chin in my palm. "I wish that fucking thing was back in that ditch." he calm down. His eyes returning to a more dark brown. "I'd throw her ass in there."
"Why you so mad?" questioned Wayo.
"Because she wants to get pregnant!"
I looked at Uma. "What's so bad about pregnancy? I mean, I get we young, I'm not getting pregnant."
"That's the rule." she said. "Luckily I got a hijab on. Little girls aren't meant for all that."
"What you mean?"
"There was a girl here that used to get pregnant all the time. Janna ain't saying anything. But that was his sister."
"Janna has a sister?"
"Joella and Janna are Shuja's kids. And Corrie said he might have another daughter. She not here, she with her mama."
"What's her name?"
"I don't know. Ferness told us."
"Really? How does he know?"
Uma inhales. "So, everybody kinda knows each other because we all used to go to church. To be honest, the souls may not be in the right body. You can only keep so much with you. Then you have magic--Don't fall for it!"
"Fall for what?"
She points at me. "Don't fall for the confusion. Aleigha got a phone call and that's how he got shot!"
"What?"
"Aleigha got shot but there is so much history on him, it's ridiculous."
"I don't know Aleigha..."
"Aleigha's a rapper, Shikki's daddy." she said. "Aleigha is the realm, like, he made it.... plus Growden but he can't rule."
"Why?"
"Because Growden and Mable kidnapped his daughter and made him forget about her so they can use her for money. She was born with teeth and her spine sticking out."
"Really?" Sounds horrible. Can you live like that? It must be uncomfortable. "They really tortured a kid for nothing and Unwin Growden was like 19. He did a lot of drugs."
I wonder why I could be in it. "Why not say his name?"
"Because we don't know him!" she lifted her voice. "Unwin doesn't even have a credit card. He doesn't even have papers. It's like... he's not registered to anything. During the investigation, they found a medical document that said Unwin had insomnia."

I read some books around the barn. There was one talking about one of Shikki's kids she later had with Seign Lyons. I thought it was interesting. Aleigha defended it and call for an arranged marriage.
To be honest, I thought it was sick. Seign was about 32 or 36 when they got married. The man had sclerosis, was going numb in his left leg and doctors said he couldn't even talk after Mable set his throat on fire.
Shikki got kidnapped. She wrote a book of her own imagination based on a story she made up.
Lallop Street.
Lallop Street is a fictional story about a black man that was murdered for nothing. He sold candy in a bad neighborhood and was killed by three random people. He went on to be a ghost. After he died, another died. A woman that was homeless. She got pregnant and didn't want to carry the baby so she used a hanger and was arrested.
She died in jail swallowing a plastic fork.
The point of the story was not about the candy shop owner but another character that collected souls in a jar. It never got finished.
Shikki had a videotape of herself explaining her love of religion. And it was interesting, but the girl was too adventurous.
There was a tape lying around and in it, she asked herself. Could you really sell your soul? To test this theory she killed a bird and made a circle in the dirt. She set up stuffed animals around the circle and came up with this chant of borrowing.
She made up her own Gods and rewrote Lallop Street. The rewrite was dubbed The Blackest People. In the Blackest People, a lady named Valley Cat worked as a maid, but she didn't like her job. Valley went to work for a man that owned a two-story home with a large observatory in the back of the house.
Valley worked for Mr. Winston and Winston loved stars. He was trying to find a special star he had discovered when he was young.
It really stupid in my opinion, Shikki tried to work astronomy in with voodoo because Mr. Winston wanted the star to come down. I think it was meant to be a romance. In the story, Valley gets cancer and dies within two months because she drinks oil.
In a lot of books, Shikki loves Oil. I've seen vampires bleed and they bleed black.
She was obsessed with 9, she had a dog... killed her dog and broke a chicken bone to get the marrow. She boiled the bone in water and revived her dog.
And killed her dog again because of the theory on werewolf creation. Apparently, she was right but all he do was speak English...
"Cedrica!" called Corrie. I separated from the books on the shelf and went into the kitchen space. "I'm taking some things to the mountain. You wanna go with Uma and I to pick flowers?"
"Yeah, I'll go." I don't have anything else to do.
