Chapter 64 - 63 P+La+N+S

Bav and I, have not left each others side, practically since he told me he was going to have to leave. We went to the government offices to file the paperwork to be married and had it completed in no time at all. We broke the news to Evangeline who was upset, but more for the fact I wouldn't know when I would get my wedding. I asked her what she could do for a hundred guests in 24 hours and she squealed and let me go to plan a little ceremony.

We decided to have a quick small ceremony for our friends to join us in, since my dress was done for me to wear, we felt it would be a waste to not enjoy a slice of what we were supposed to have soon. We rang up on the tube, those we wanted to come and I told the girls that the shop would be closed for the day. Then came the one tube ring I wanted to make but didn't know how to with out having to invite him...

"Would you like me to ring her on the tube and invite her?" Bav looked at the last name of the list of people we were to ring and invite.

"I do not want to leave her out of it, because I do consider her a friend... but she wants me and him to get along for her sake. I don't know if I can handle him being there though."

I chewed on my fingernails, thinking hard on what to do until Bav plucked my hand from my mouth.

"I will ting and invite her. We'll leave that decision up to them."

I just nod and walk away to the bathroom. "I'll be taking a bath." I inform him as I turn the water on as he proceeds to ring Iris.

I slip into the warm bath, letting the water try to soothe my tense muscles, but it hardly helps. My mind is racing along with my heart beat, that I would be married only long enough to have to let him go for an undetermined amount of time. My heart aches at the thought, making me grab a wash cloth and place it over my face to avoid the tears that threaten to spill.

I'm startled by Bav's strong hands suddenly massaging my shoulders, but soon am moaning because it feels so good. His hands leave my shoulders and I hear the plop of fabric hitting the ground as he joins me in the tub.

He slides in at my feet and I remove the cloth from my face.

He is so handsome, I can't believe he loves me. I can't believe he will not be here soon either. I push the last thought out of my mind as Bav begins to massage my feet, making me groan in melt in the tub. His chuckles make me open my eyes, lazily quirking an eyebrow at him.

"What's so amusing?"

His grin widens, his eyes twinkle with amusement as he continues to massage another moan out of me.

"I don't know which moans of yours are more satisfying to hear. The ones where I massage your tense muscles, or the ones that make your muscles tense to begin with..." He chuckles as a moan escapes me again as he works on a muscle in my foot I didn't even know was sore.

I take my foot from him and rise to my knees to straddle him, the splash and trickle of water the only sound as I did so. He moved his hands to my waist, watching the water collect and fall off my body.

Who knew water was so sensual?

Bav's eyes remained focused on following the water and tracing it's path upwards from my naval.

His eyes feasted on me, making my heart beat faster, causing my breath to quicken. Bav's eyes scanned my breasts that moved with my breathing as his hands slid up and down my sides. His head moved forward placing a soft chase kiss on my skin in the middle of my abdomen, before he looked up at my eyes that watched him intensely.

He kisses my skin again, sending chills down my body and my core clench in reflex to the pleasant sensation that accompanied the ache.

His eyes are hungry and I can feel his manhood growing underneath me.

"You always know exactly how to arouse me with your attentions... You make me feel like an Elemental being praised and worshiped by you." I move a lock of his perfect ink black hair behind his ear as he sighs and kisses my stomach again.

"Because I am worshiping you and have nothing but your praises to sing, my love." He pulls me closer and kisses me as I move my hips over his swollen member making him moan against my lips.

He pulls away, leaving me confused and still searching for his lips in a pout. "I'm sorry my dear, but there is a tradition in my culture that the soon to be wed couple should not join the night before the wedding, it's supposed to guard against ' welcoming impatience and lust into the marriage.' which they say leads to, 'ill will and lost pride. So we should finish up the bath and I'm sure Viekar's mother Anana will be arriving soon to take you to another room. Sorry ahead of time by the way." His apology leaves me even more confused than what I already am.

"Alright, I can handle your cultural traditions, but why are you apologizing?" I ask him and go ahead and climb out to wrap a towel around me.

"Well.... let's just say, try not to drink too much and I would dress for a night out in the Gilded district. I'll in fact go and pick you out something to change into." He walks out swiftly and leaves me still absolutely clueless as to what is going on tonight.

I've dried off and head to the closet and see him searching through the wardrobe, pulling out dresses but sticking them back as I put on my undergarments.

Finally he's satisfied with a Ivory and black embroidered evening gown with a modest bustle and higher neckline that still hangs off the shoulder. He helps me into the dress and picks out some half inch heeled boots for me and lets me go so I may pin my hair. I'm adding the tiniest bit of rouge to my lips as he comes out with a black fan, black gem encrusted purse with a box that I know contains jewelry.

He places the fan into the purse, along with a small bank note booklet, pencil, and a bag of coins that I can hear jingle as he puts them away. He opens the box and presents to me, a diamond and black gem encrusted collar style necklace that looked like it weighed a as much as a full teapot.

He places it around my neck and I realize it's heavier. The earrings are not as bad and the bracelet he places on my wrist is weighted but not uncomfortably so. He then starts placing some jeweled hairpins into my hair in strategic spots that no matter which way I turned my head, any light would catch one of the pins and sparkle.

"Don't you think this is a little much?" I ask still marveling at the collar necklace that was three inches long at its longest points in the front and back.

"Not for my soon to be wife to be seen out and about the night before her wedding." He winks and we hear a knock on the door. "That must be Anana. I shall let you go and enjoy your evening then."

He walk me over to the door and Anana greets us in a beautiful burgundy evening gown and a choker of rubies surrounded by diamonds. with ruby studs in her ears and diamond hairpins.

"Oh, Rakara! Master Bavarthos! She's stunning! My dear you are radiant!" She turns back and forth between us and smiles brightly.

"You are rather stunning yourself, Anana. Now, take good care of my bride to be and have fun." Bav kisses my cheek and ushers us downstairs to the front door , where there is a carriage waiting.

I sit back as our driver moves us along.

"So where are we going?" I ask Anana, curious as to what is planned.

Smiling coyly at me, she states, "First we have to pick up a few of your friends that were invited to join us. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the group we will have tonight." Her eyes twinkle at my intrigued look as we move along to the location of the lift.

The driver stops at a small cafe that is near the lift. The driver gets down and enters the cafe and comes back out, holding the door for two woman that make my mouth drop.

"Etty! Elaine!" I exclaim as they make their way to the motor carriage. They wave excited to me, dressed up in elegant evening dresses, Elaine in pink, and Etty in lavender. Both have diamond chokers and earrings with complimenting gemstones with their gowns colors. They enter the carriage and I give them both a quick hug as they Anana on her side of the carriage.

"Wow, you two look amazing!" I exclaim, never seeing them both so dressed up.

Etty laughs, "Where's a mirror? Have you seen your reflection yet?"

We all giggle as we continue on and stop to pick up Mrs. Cecelia Stargo and Evangeline Sawyer, who are dressed just as elegant as any of us.

I introduce Elaine, Etty and Anana to them both and Evangeline's sharp eye makes it aware, "Oh Yes! Elaine and Maraquette work in your shop is that correct?"

I see how Elaine and Etty become uncomfortable as this is realized. I jump to their defense, while remaining polite.

"Yes, they work for me, Elaine manages the shop you came to and Etty is going to manage my new shop. They have been my friends for quite some time before I owned my first shop and helped me when I first opened up. I doubt I would be where I am without either of them." I commend them honestly and Evangeline and Cecelia both nod with a smile.

Cecelia leans forward, "I grew up in the First level of the Works district girls. We are not shaming you for being employees, we find it commendable. Besides, any friend of Rakara's are friends of ours." She pats Etty's hand while smiling warmly at Elaine, who both look visibly less tense.

We're all talking, conversing about the events that will take place tomorrow, when we stop at another house. I look around and realize where we are.

"Iris!" I almost jump out of the carriage when I see her dressed, looking like an Elemental of air, with her fair skin and hair, dressed in a light blue evening gown with a light blue topaz and diamond necklace. She smiles, seeing my face as Mr. Thorn escorts her to the motor carriage. Her maid stands at the door, concern on her face but lips sealed shut.

"Rakara! Surprise!" Iris hugs me as she climbs into the carriage and takes the last open seat on the side of the carriage.

"I entrust my wife to your care. Enjoy your evening ladies." Mr. Thorn raises his hat and bows, shutting the door and giving me a look, full of mixed emotions in his eyes.

I nod and turn to ladies as the motor carriage takes off.

"Iris Thorn, I have not seen you in ages!" Cecelia pats Iris on her hand.

"My apologies, have we met?" Iris asks sincerely confused.

Cecelia waves her apology away, "No need to apologize. We only met once at your husbands announcement party when he took office. Since then I've seen your husband but not you...?"

Iris blushes and calmly states, "I've been sick since I gave birth to my son. My heart is not good. Thankfully to Ms. Langridge and Mr Fairchild, I have started to regain my health. Tonight is the first night I have been out without a maid or my husband."

"We are here!" Anana exclaims.
