Chapter 3 - two

Previously..

"Just because." She remarked, crouching to get her drink as she turns to the blonde-japanese-foreign boy. "The weather is too cold for that door to open, next thing you'll know you'll be flying with the chickadees." She joked before clicking the soda can open.

"You mean windy?" The boy confusingly asked as he furrows his brows. "I am dreadfully sorry. English isn't my first language, you see." He muttered as his broad shoulders dropped in a relaxed manner.

"It's okay. Speaks a lot on why you speak so professionally." The girl rejoiced before taking a sip of her drink. "Drop the formalities and honorifics. We're probably the same age." She shook her head reassuringly.

The blonde hesitantly nods.

"Want me to show you where we eat? It's more lively and warm there."

. . .

"It is indeed too lively in here." He amusingly chuckled as the tan violently nodded in agreement. The small school may be small but, it's definitely lively than any other also small schools.

"You know, with a small school like this, a new face can really alter the class's dynamic! It's exciting!" A black haired boy with swimming goggles on top of his head as his signature appearance exclaimed sitting over the blonde boy's table.

"W-What?" The blonde inclined his ear for the other to repeat, not really understanding such words spoken by the black haired boy.

"He meant that it's exciting for you to join us." Estelle rolled her eyes, simplifying everything as the blonde thanks in silence.

"That's not what i meant, but whatever." He shrugs his shoulders. "My name is Dylan, Dylan Brownham! I know my hair is black, but that doesn't really relate, ya know?" He jokes out before taking a bite of his sandwich, the tan girl rolled her eyes once again.

"He can be a bit weird." Estelle whispers to the blonde who only awkwardly laughed. "Oh, wait here! I'll just grab something to eat!" She added before sprinting towards the cafeteria counter.

"If you don't mind me asking, what's her name?" Viktor asked the black-haired-boy takes the last bite of the sandwich before opening his mouth to talk.

"Estelle, Estelle De Guzman. She's a Filipino astronomer!" Dylan exclaims, nodding in every word as the blonde-haired-boy's ears perked up by the information remarked.

"An A-Astronomer?"

"As so she says. Self-proclaimed, ya know?" Dylan chuckled sarcastically as the foreign boy tilts his head in confusion.

"I don't seem to get your point here.." The blonde-haired-boy scratched his head awkwardly. "And to my observation, you two seemed to have such a heated relationship." He added as the other violently nodded.

"Good for you to know! One time she pushed me off the swimming pool accidentally saying she's just admiring the ceiling of the school's indoor swimming pool at the swimming club! I've been planning to give her a piece of my mind for weeks now!" Dylan exclaimed under his breath while cautiously looking around for the said girl before running off leaving the blonde confused and dumbfounded.

"That was a lot to take in, wasn't it?" The tan girl blurted out of nowhere, startling the blonde who aggressively flinched, also accidentally throwing away his salad platter. "Oh my god!" She lets out a mirthful laugh.

"Yeah, i didn't really get anything he said from the start." The blonde softly chuckled as he fumbles on his sleeves sadly staring at the fallen salad on the floor.

"Well, don't worry! The longer you're here! The better you'll understand him, he's a dork anyways." Aurora, who appeared just now carrying a metal tray before joining their cafeteria table.

"Affirmative." Estelle cackles as the blonde chuckles with her. "Anyways, do you have any plans on exploring the campus? There's actually a lot of places here in such a small school." The tan added.

"I'm actually planning that as well! And.. also, maybe learning about clubs and other special classes.." Viktor rubs his nape, pondering for a second.

"Oh! Oh! You should join the astronomers cl--"

"Estelle! Let him pick whatever he wants, you doofus! Anyways, baking club is also fr--"

"How about swimming?! You look like you have flexible bones! You're perf--"

Viktor sat there watching the three fight as he cleared his throat interrupting the three idiots as he then smiled nervously when the three gave him a look.

"I think she's right." The foreign boy points at the other blonde girl who gasped.

"So, you're into baking--?!"

"I meant that, i think i should need to look over all the clubs first so, i can properly choose the club i want." He stated, his small dimple showing by his crooked smile as Estelle quickly nodded mirroring his smile.

"Yup! That's better." The tan chimed as the bell rung indicating that the breaktime has finished.

=Time Skip=

"Quick announcement! I'll be dismissing you guys earlier than usual so, feel free to do anything on your free period." The professor smiled before exiting the room as the class started cheering and roaring.

Except for the foreign blonde boy who confusingly looked around, not really understanding what the professor said earlier; disadvantages of being the only foreigner who can't really speak nor understand english.

"He meant that the class has ended, it's our free time now." Estelle explained, approaching the blonde boy. "How about looking around for the club you want?!" She added.

"Oh, right." Viktor chuckled before standing up to pack his things as he stared at others who are already exiting the classroom talking about their clubs.

"I really have to go! Bye guys!" Estelle indistinctly exclaimed from Viktor's ear as the blonde boy snapped out of his thoughts only to find the tan nowhere.

"Where did she go?" The blonde boy asked with a small frown as the other blonde faced him.

"Oh, she already ran off. Astronomy club." Aurora smiled before continuing on packing her stuff.

"Oh okay, thanks. I'll also be heading off now too. Goodbye. " Viktor bowed making the blonde girl unwiedly reciprocated the bow, not too familiar about the foreign boy's culture.

The latter took a deep breath while holding onto the strap of his shoulder bag, sauntering down the seemingly empty hallways.

'They must be on their clubs..' The blonde boy thought to himself as he turned to the corner to meet a few opened doors.

He peeked in each one of them to see a small number of students doing activities such as Karate, Ballet and other bunch of club stuff.

Although, none of them really caught his attention nor interest.

Not until he arrived at an eye-catching room,

The Astronomy Club.
