Katherine waited in her room for Max to deliver her new phone. She really did not want to be trapped in there, but she knew it would take him a while to find her if she went someplace else, and she did not want to make him have to work harder than he already was. He had definitely gotten his exercise in the last few days chasing after her.
It did not take long before a knock was heard on her door, so Katherine jumped off her bed and quickly opened it. She was expecting Max, so she was shocked to see Charles leaning with one arm up against the doorway and the other hand holding up her new phone.
"Delivery for the Queen," he said with a charming smile.
"Thank you," she said with a small smile of her own as she reached for the phone.
"Max already set it up for you, so it should be good to go."
"Perfect," Katherine said as she shoved it into the pocket her yellow dress had. "Should we get going then? I'm sick of being in this room."
