Leonardo standing in the centre of the field with the ball, waiting for the referee to blow the whistle to kick off while the commentators discuss the lineups of the two teams of today's match.
"So finally we are here! the two teams are ready for the tussle for the last spot in the first division of the Italian league this season. The Rocco del Bastoni's side A.F Bologna in a classic 4-4-2 formation while the Parma C.F side with their new man in charge Ale Piola in are a hybrid 4-3-1-2 formation, well this seems interesting, Aldo?"
"Yeah, absolutely right Gabrielle! this Parma C.F team is under their new manager Ale Piola and it seems more interesting because Ale Piola had been the assistant coach for this team for the past five years working under Alessandro, though it is his very first time becoming a head coach even though he still has a lot of experience."
"Yeah! you are right, after the sacking of Alessandro for underperforming for five seasons straight, the club hired his assistant coach Ale Piola, who has a lot of experience but those experiences were full of the worst and underdelivering moments which Parma C.F desperately wants to change this season."
"Yes, Gabrielle! Parma C.F has been struggling for the last five years, they only found themselves in the relegation zone and it has been more than a decade last time when they won the title."
"Let's hope they have a good season but for that to happen they have to win today's game now."
The referee blows the whistle for the kickoff, and Leonardo passed the ball to his teammate.
"And here we go now the match is now underway and it's A.F Bologna who is starting the game with possession first," Gabrielle said.
A.F Bologna were having possession of the ball while Lorenzo and Fabio were two strikers upfront pressing the centre backs of the A.F Bologna. The A.F Bologna was passing the ball decently while Parma C.F players were chasing for the ball. The commentators discuss the game.
"The Parma C.F players are pressing so high in the half of A.F Bologna," Gabrielle said.
"Yeah they pressing so much up top in the defensive half of the A.F Bologna but this is a huge risk, they have to be careful, they can get caught up in the quick transition. A.F Bologna can simply launch a counterattack by throwing a long ball into the defence." Aldo points out the drawback of the Parma C.F gameplay.
"Your analysis of the game is on point, Aldo and that's the thing they have to look at because you know that A.F Bologna won the second division of the Italian league convincingly and Leanardo has been their top scorer last season. A quick long ball to him can cause a lot of damage to the Parma C.F defence."
A.F Bologna was building from the back, and Lorenzo and Fabio were trying hard to get the ball but both centre backs of the A.F Bologna were soaking the pressure with ease. Lorenzo pressed the centre-back but before he could reach the ball their centre-back passed it back to the goalkeeper. The goalkeeper then launched a quick long ball for Leanardo, Leonardo was marked by Angelo and Francesco. The ball landed in front of Leonardo, Angelo tried to get to the ball first while Francesco was marking Leonardo but Leonardo shoved Angelo away from his path, Angelo fell on the ground, Leonardo controls the ball perfectly and beat Francesco in pace. Francesco couldn't hold up with Leonardo with his pace. Leonardo was running towards the goal and Vincenzo was standing at the goal line. Francesco chased Leonardo but before he could reach him he took a shot but it was saved by Vincenzo but he couldn't control the ball and Leonardo was looking for a goal on a rebound, he ran towards the ball but Vincenzo got his hands over the ball and finally got the control of the ball.
Ale Piola on the sidelines took a deep breath, it was a great relief for him because didn't want to concede first. Vincenzo stood up and lashed out at Angelo and Francesco.
"WHAT THE HELL YOU BOTH GUYS ARE DOING, WHERE IS YOUR FOCUS?"
Ale Piola at the sidelines also screamed at his centre-back pairing.
"ANGELO! FRANCESCO! WHAT YOU BOTH ARE DOING? HAVE YOUR BRAINS STOPPED WORKING? DON'T PLAY LIKE A SNAIL, SHOW SOME INTENSITY."
The commentators then reflect on their opinions on the incident.
"Oh! that's so close Aldo, Leonardo should have scored there, it was a great chance for A.F Bologna to get the lead in this game in ten minutes."
"Yeah! Gabrielle, they should have taken the lead it was a great strike by Leonardo and as we had said before that A.F Bologna can be dangerous on counters, we have seen it now, both centre-backs Angelo and Francesco were very fragile during that moment, lack of concentration from both of them but it was good by Vincenzo."
Vincenzo was having the ball positioned in front of him for the goal kick, and Cilo Eincho was telling both Angelo and Francesco to be more focused now. Despite going for a long ball, Vincenzo builds up short, he passed the ball to Angelo while Leonardo just like Fabio and Lorenzo was not pressing the centre backs higher instead he was staying at his place and allowed the centre backs to build up from the back. After doing some passes at the back Vincenzo got the ball and he chip-passed the ball towards Macella. Macella controls the ball perfectly and drove it forward and was looking for a perfect pass. The A.F Bologna players were in a 4-4-2 mid-block narrow shape not pressing the Parma C.F players and blocking the passing lanes of the Parma C.F players. Cilo Eincho was standing in the middle of the park asking for the ball, Macella found him and passed the ball to him. Cilo Eincho got the ball and once he got the ball he was immediately pressed by the midfielder of A.F Bologna. He pressed Cilo Eincho and Cilo Eincho also lost possession of the ball. After losing possession Cilo Eincho ran at him for the tackle and he slide for a tackle but their midfielder managed to make a pass to one of their forwards standing alongside Leonardo. He ran at the goal and everyone in the defence was focused on him while Leonardo was all alone and Macella also didn't track back on time. He realised and started tracking back to mark Leonardo but it was too late. Everyone was at the other forward he looked up and saw Leonardo free making a run in the penalty box, he wastes no time and passed the ball towards Leonardo, Leonardo standing in the whole amount of space gets the ball while Macella was still chasing him. Leonardo this time makes no mistake in front of the goal and kicked the ball with accuracy, there was no chance for Vincenzo to save and the ball was in the net. Leonardo scored the first goal of the match within twenty minutes and ran towards the corner and celebrated the goal with his teammates while Parma C.F players and Ale Piola were standing in disappointment holding their heads in disbelief.
