"Hello, is this the strategy department?... Umm can you send me the proposal now?.... The President needs it so, I just wonder if you are already done with it…. Oh really?.... cool! Okay, thanks." Koa takes a deep breath, she's been calling every department now because Mr. Javier asks her for the documents. He's evil, she's really in hell. He really thinks he's perfect, he's selfish and doesn't think what his employees feel.
She stood up in her chair and then she went out of her cubicle, it's already lunch time but she chose not to eat to provide the documents her boss needed. She takes a deep breath as she presses the button of the elevator, it opens and then she goes in. Some of the employees greeted her so she greeted them back with a smile, she pressed the button of the floor where she needed to go.
After the four departments she's been to, Koa is now holding a pile of documents in her arms. She stood up in front of the elevator again, and hardly even pressed the button. Someone pressed it for her, and then she looked at the person and smiled.
"Oh, thank you very much." She said, and looked at the man. They both entered the elevator, he was familiar. She thinks she saw him before, he looks at her.
"Which elevator will you go?" He asked, and she answered.
"Are you his new secretary? Do you need some help?" He asked, Koa shook her head.
"I'm fine, and what do you mean?"
"Oh, I'm the cousin of Zale Javier. I'm Nyx Javier." Koa mouth forms an o and then she bow.
"I'm sorry I didn't recognise you, greetings sir."
"No, you didn't have to." Then he smiled, he had sleepy eyes. He wasn't wearing a suit at all, he was wearing faded jeans and a white t-shirt and takes note that she can foresee his muscular body even though he is wearing clothes.
"Are you sure you don't want any help?" Koa nod.
"Not at all Sir, thank you."
"Okay, good! Just tell me if you need some." She smiled, wow! He's a freaking standard! The way he behaves after receiving no is a chef kiss. Well, Koa encounters some men before that if she says no to something they keep trying to insist and trying to prove something. It's like they didn't can't accept the fact that women can move without any men's help. Same as rejection, if you said no. They would accept it, because it's hard for them to respect women.
If you ever have someone, and wanna know them. Just say no, and watch how they behave.
"Are you going to Mr. President's office too?" She asked him.
"Yes." She presses her lips and nods.
The elevator opens and then Mr. Javier Nyx lets her go out first and walks behind her, he follows her until he enters the Zale Javier office.
"Do you want some coffee Sir?" She asks, and he nods.
"No sugar please."
"Okay."
She puts the documents on her table, and then she walks to the pantry to make some coffee. She also prepared cookies for him, and after a minute she entered to the office of the President with Mr. Nyx Javier coffee on a tray. She set the coffee down to the table and the cookies.
"Thank you, Ms?"
"I'm sorry sir, I'm Koa Saville." He nods.
"Nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you too." Koa uttered with a smile on her face.
"Aherm!" They both look at the person who just cleared his throat, Koa immediately exits herself.
"What are you doing here?" She heard Mr. Zale Javier questioned his cousin, Koa just went back to her table and did her work. She needs to arrange the documents from a-z and also she needs to photocopy some of it, with hundreds of copies.
She looked at the office of the President again, her eyes and Mr. Zale Javier met. She looks at him and doesn't have any intention to lose, he gives a sexy smile first why she forms her hand like an okay and then she puts it on her mouth then she lets her tongue out then moves it from the bottom to the top like she is linking for something. The President broke their gazes and she laughed evilly in her mind, one point for her.
"Oh, that was hot!" Nyx said, and smirked. Zale instantly glared at him.
"She's mine, she's my prey."
"Oh really? Because I don't think so, looks like you're gonna lose for the first time huh? It seems like you're her prey." Zale laughed, as if he let himself lose. After he did everything? No!
"So what the f*ck are you doing here again?"
"I just miss you, you know you're my favourite cousin." Zale just makes a poker face.
"Oh, f*ck off! What do you want?"
"Mmm your car?" Zale just shook his head and then gave a middle finger to his cousin.
Koa's eyes were sore, she's been looking at her computer screen for a long time. She closed it tightly, she didn't realise that it was already evening. Her boss is still looking at his laptop, she looks at her wrist. It's time for her to go, she started to keep her things in her bag. After that she stops and then she stretches her neck, left and right. While she's doing that, suddenly she feels a massive hand on her shoulder. She looked at the top from the back, and she saw her boss.
He leans his face closer to her, their lips are close only two inches between space with them. He remains massaging her shoulder, she can't help but to moan in pleasure.
"You like that huh?" Zale whispered, Koa raised her hand and then placed it on his neck.
"Can you go deeper?" She whispered back, she stirred her hands down to his shoulder and then softly massaged it.
"Gladly…" He said, but his hand moved from her shoulder to her neck. He turns her swivel chair to infront of him, and they look into each other's eyes. The way he looks at her is so deceiving, like he was so freaking in love with her, it was so tender as if he was speaking to her. If she didn't think that he was cunning she would probably fall into his trap, this kind of man will make you love him like crazy and then will just throw you after they use you. He is on a different level of being a notorious playboy, he is manipulative, he will watch you chase him after he gives you all the motivations. He will watch you fall down into the deep ocean of desperation.
This kind of man is bad for a woman's health.
There's one thing also in the terms Mr. Gin asks her to make this man fall in love with her and fall into his own trap.
"What is the other condition?" Koa ask as she looks at Mr. Gin.
"You know, Zale Javier is not just a notorious playboy who'll play in women's hearts. There's three woman commit suicide because of him…"
"What?!" Koa gasped.
"You believe it or not but it's true, you see. He grew up in a very toxic family, where seeing some suffer is a pleasure."
Koa snapped back to the present when she felt the warmth of Zale palm on her cheeks, he was caressing her gently like she was a fragile glass.
"You're pretty…" He praised with affection, his thumb touching her lips and then lowering his gaze to her lips. His strategy is now started, he links his lips as if he was really tempted to kiss her, he's like showing to her that she's the most attractive woman in his eyes that makes him want her more but no in reality it's not.
Koa wanted to confirm something, she held his collar and slowly leaned herself closer to him to kiss him. She wanted to see how he would react. Will he avoid kissing her to make her starve for more to his kisses or the other way around?
Will he think he won for tempting her?
Their lips are just half inches away when they hear a phone ring, Koa immediately pushes her boss and then she picks her cellphone. She answered the phone, it's her best friend calling.
"Why?" She asked.
"Hey! You're a selfish woman, why didn't you tell me about this fine looking man?"
"Oh? Have you met him? Mr. Gin?"
"Yes, I still can't believe where you are now but I'm so happy for you. But let's go back to the topic, you know he's my type right? Why didn't you tell me!"
"Why would I? Aren't you happy about your relationship now?"
"We broke up." Koa gasp.
"What?"
"Just go home already, buy some drinks and ice cream! Request by me and our cute Kalish." She heard a smack of a kiss from the phone, she smiled.
"Kalish with you?"
"Yes, I'll give her the phone." Koa heard her sister's bubbly voice on the phone. While Koa is busy talking on the phone, Zale just looks at her Smiling from ear to ear. He heard a woman and kid's voice from the phone so he was sure she was not talking to a man. For the first time in his life he was this thrilled by playing with fire.
This game for him is so unpredictable, he is starting to question his capabilities because it seems like Koa is a well trained Assassin and she came to kill him. She already knows his moves, how he manipulates. She's alway calm and collected, she can resist him without any problems. But of course he'll not let her win this game, he doesn't know how long she'll be able to read his moves but he was just starting.
The call seems to have ended, she looks at him and gives him a fake smile.
"I'll be going, President, goodnight." She uttered.
"Do you want me to drive you home?" She shook her head.
"No, thank you. I can manage myself." Zale nodded, and then extended his hand and patted her head.
"Then be careful my little tesoro." The way he smiles is so annoying from Koa's perspective, until the very end of the day he's trying to pissed her off! And did he just call her what?
"What you just call me, Is that an insult?" She asked.
"You think so? It's our carabao's name, cute right?" He grinned.
"Did you just compare me to a carabao?"
"Why not?" Koa just ignored him, and mobilized herself to go home.
