Chapter 2 - Chapter Two -“So you’re here for LiNa?”

Walking out of the class a few seconds later, Li-Jun hastily tucked the piece of paper he collected from Professor LiNa into his Italian-made wallet.

"Hi! You sat beside me during the lecture. I'm Zhang Tanya." The friendly girl standing beside the door walked up to him and extended her petite hand towards him. He shook it gently, "and this is Paul Wilbur, that also sat beside me in the class" she pointed to the tall lanky guy standing beside her. He nodded his head towards him in greeting.

"Hello, Tanya and Paul. I'm Lu Li-Jun."

"Good to meet you, Are you perhaps related to the Lu Family in Taipei?

Li-Jun smiled not responding to her question.

Li-Jun you annoyed the professor today. She was a little bit angry in the class today." The jovial Tanya continued not minding that he ignored her question.

He shakes his head slightly.

"I think so, it was my fault for being an annoyance in her class" he agreed with her firmly, tilting his head a little and smiling at himself for such a low impression he showed the professor.

She shrugged her shoulder as if that meant something. "Which Master's degree are you here for?"

He gestured to the front of the now-empty seminar room. "It probably doesn't seem like it, but I'm supposed to be studying to be a Horticulture and Landscape architecture."

Tanya looked at him. "So you're here for LiNa?"

He nodded, and she noticed that his lips were tilted into a smile

"She's a newly transferred professor and I heard that she is difficult to work with, so she doesn't have a lot of students. I'm writing my dissertation with another professor since I am here for Agronomy; Horticulture is an elective course."

"Agronomy?" he gave her a questioning look.

"Yep, both I and Paul are here for the course. Tanya answered with eagerness.

Li-Jun nodded again but said nothing.

"Oh! You were not aware of the announcement Professor Linda made during the seminar today." Tanya exclaimed. "She said that if you are having her course as a selective you have to come to her office to fill in the attendance form and project form," Tanya explained and was stunned as she was rewarded with a very attractive smile from Li-Jun. Li-Jun was pleased with the information and thought to himself that he would have to meet with Professor LiNa very soon.

"Thanks, Tanya for notify me and I better get going. See you after class tomorrow. He said waving his hands at both Tanya and Paul.

Li jun suddenly turned around and asked for the direction to Professor Li Na's office as he was new to the university system. "Excuse me Tanya; I don't know where her office is?."

"Turn right on your way out of the seminar room, and then make another left. She has the corner office at the end of the hall. Good luck and see you, next seminar class." She told him while pulling Paul with her as they go their way.

He smiled gratefully at them and exited the passage to the seminar room.

As he rounded the corner his cell phone vibrated in his jeans pocket. Li jun blindly dug out his phone. He answered, unable to take his gaze from the office that was down the hall.

"Hello pa?" he answered the call, as he turned away from the office down the Hall, thinking to himself that he would need to postpone his meeting with the Professor for now.

Moving to a tree that was at the center of the pathway.

"Li-Jun how's the class today?" his grandpa asked at the other end of the line. "And has the Harris International corporation representative contacted you?"

Hearing his grandfather's voice, he leaned against the tree and sighed.

"Pa, the Harris international Corporation sent their representatives to my office this morning, they have met with the requirement and sighed the contract, will go ahead with the Biogas and recycling project.

He explained while connecting the Bluetooth to the mouthpiece and moving away from the tree he was leaning on he started to walk towards a black sleek car that was just parked beside the sidewalk by his trusted driver, Mr. Rio, opening the door for him he gave Li-Jun a file.

"And pa the class today was fine though I was thirty-five minutes late to the class due to the meeting with the stakeholders." closing his eyes and rubbing his face, he told his grandpa.

"oh okay." So take a rest this weekend with me and your grandma, since you are so busy this weekdays "his grandfather suggested.

"You need to start delegating some of your work to your subordinates since you are starting with another master's degree. And Caroline asked of you—"

"Wait papa, who is Caroline, is she one of your friend's children? Pa I told you that I don't want to be set up with any of your friends' child." Out of habit, he lifted my hand to stop his grandpa, even though he knew he couldn't see him.

"It's fine. Just calm down and come stay with us at the villa and rest this weekend. Contact one of your assistants and find out the date for the business event that will be held this weekend, so that you can meet with new client's concerning the Biogas project'. His grandpa replied to him.

Okay will do that and I will call you back in a few days' time. "He smiled as he hung up talking to his grandpa who always made him feel nostalgic about home.

Inclining toward the vehicle seat he recollected the first occasion when he returned to Taipei city Five years prior, the Lu global corporation which was his family organization was near the dangerous edge of liquidation due to the death of his parents during a terrorist attack, his grandparents were stunned and got sick, immediately rushed to the hospital needed to remain at the hospital for a while to get treatment, he needed to bear the weight of the organization alone by regulating and changing the current framework, eliminating the unproductive individuals and utilizing the able ones and eventually brought the company back from its past greatness and outperforming it. Looking back he changed from being a novice in business to being a ruler of the business world with his name resounding all around the country, relatively few can identify him due to his low attendance at various business events.

Dozing off while thinking, Mr. Rio his driver drove him to his sky-high lodge which was located at the center of the city.
