"Do you know that Lilies are known as "flowers of sadness? Though attractive and use for decorative purposes, it contradicts the bitterness that it is hiding" Li Na inclined her forehead towards the glass which was by the passenger's seat and stroke the glass which was partially rolled down as she watched the car zoomed past a shop that displayed some plants at the corner.
Looking at the aloe plant she fell back into her seat with a depressed sigh. "Ha…It's so pretty but it symbolizes restoring of a person's soul," she mumbled, eyeing the view longingly. Lijun looked at her and turned his head in curiosity as her car navigation system indicated that he should turn right at the corner. "Hmm... Professor are you okay?" Li Jun asked her since she seemed too deep in her thought to notice his presence.
"You know my friend Xiu gave me Lillies when she visited my house after I broke up with my ex-fiancé, she gave me the plant without even knowing the meaning" She sent Li Jun a sideways glance.
"So how do you react when she gave it to you?" Li Jun looked at her.
"Umm...I loved the plant and the thought behind gifting me the plant, though I interpret it as; you got to be strong and renewed." She smiled as she recalled the memory.
"You know it might sound unbelievable but she's the only one that does give me gifts since she became my friend when we were undergrad," Li Na said softly. Li Jun glanced across the soft interior of her car to watch her face fill with sadness and yearning.
"My parents said giving a gift to me even when I am the best in my class was foolish, a waste of time and resources. Even when it's my birthday, they will tell me that I don't need a material gift that I should be happy with the gift of education they gave me that not many people are privileged to have a sound education. Oh! I know they love me in their way but sometimes I feel their love seems stifling"
"Damn. Her parents sounded conceited". Li Jun thought to himself.
"Do you think if I didn't meet you at the party, I would've met a random man who fit the criteria according to my mother's expectation? Maybe we could have kissed and exchange contact, you know? " She bit her lip.
Li Jun felt angry at the thought of another man touching her when he heard was she said.
"Wow, I can't even remember when last I had kissed." She clapped and looked at Li Jun's lips as she changed the topic.
"But I do recall the last time I dreamed about kissing you and putting my arms around you," she kept on. "You were unzipping my gown little by little and…"
"What? She'd dreamt about it too? Unbelievable". Li Jun thought as he remembered the night before and shifted in the driver's seat while adjusting his trouser "—and I was lying down on my back on the bed but then I woke up, and I never discover how that dream ended."
"Oh, I knew how that dream ended. But wow. This was not good." Li Jun thought to himself. Hearing about how he was with her in her dream made him almost lose control of the car.
"Perhaps you shouldn't be talking about this to me," Li Jun told her, in a terse voice.
Li Na glanced at him. "Why not? You've gone beyond kissing before, haven't you?"
Then she snorted and threw her head back to laugh outright. "What am I saying? You're Lu Li Jun, the great handsome CEO Lu. You've probably done more than kissing with so many girlfriends than I have done in my entire life."
Li Jun scowled. "Okay, now Li Na, you're just being insulting. Okay. I only had a girlfriend and we ended it as soon as it started"
Putting her hands up, she muttered "oh! Ok…OK."
"I had only one relationship that ended in disaster," she said.
Li jun turn his head in confusion. "What?"
"The guy that was almost my husband was the only one I had been with, in my entire life." Li Na tipped her head to the side and frowned thoughtfully.
"Li Na, what happened during your last relationship?" Li Jun asked while looking at the solemn Li Na.
"Hey! Li Jun we've arrived at my house" she said, not answering Li Jun.
Packing her car in the garage of the sky-high building, Li Jun shoved open the driver's side door and hurled himself out of her car.
The cool air was a welcome jolt to calm his emotions. But then she opened her door and got out too. "I, uh, thank you for taking me home." Li Na nodded
"Do you want to call your driver or should I call the cab for you?" Li Na asked while leaning on her car.
Shaking his head, Li Jun told her not to worry while thinking about all her confessions in the car and how he couldn't do anything about it for now. Not yet.
"Goodnight, Jun," she said moving away from the car and staggering towards the elevator.
When she stumbled and nearly went down, Li Jun shoved his phone which he was trying to call his driver back into his pocket.
"Wait," he called, rushing after her and catching her arm just as she tripped again.
"Let me help you to your floor." She swayed his way until she was leaning against him fully.
Slipping his arm around her waist to keep her upright. "Shit who would've guessed she'd have such a tiny waist?" Li Jun thought as he walked along with her to her apartment.
Tipping her face up, she grinned attractively. "You know your scent is captivating, just like Red Camelia."
"Hmm." Li Jun swallowed, refusing to respond, and helped her up to her apartment.
When she seems to find her keys in her purse, Li Jun moved to helped her insert the key into her apartment.
Entering the apartment she stood at the entrance of the door and looked at Jun, her whole face lit up. "you know red camellia symbolize love, passion, and deep desire. It's my favorite flower," she giggled dreamily.
Li Jun groaned, moving close to her. " Ha! you're driving me crazy with your words. I'm going to have to kiss you now, Professor."
Li NA didn't have a chance to respond before his lips were touching hers. She couldn't think as he brushed his lips softly against hers, the gentle caress taking her by surprise. Her hands automatically went to his chest.
She was prepared to shove him away as she remembered that he was her student and she was older him by Good Eight years "OMG, She felt like a cougar devouring a young animal" Li Na thought, drunkenly.
What if this was her only chance to know what it was like to be with a man, a man that she actually wanted? She didn't want to live her life full of regrets. She didn't want to wonder what she'd missed out on by never marrying if that's what her future held or by following her mother's wishes.
Right then she decided that if she was going to live her life as an old lady, she would enjoy this moment with Li Jun and give in to this overwhelming attraction that she felt for him.
After a moment, she allowed herself to relax and to enjoy his kisses and the sensations that were teasing and tormenting her body as she lost herself to his touch. He brushed his lips over hers once, twice, and once again. Her mouth was soft and sweet, but it wasn't enough. He ran the tip of his tongue over her bottom lip. She gasped in surprise, opening her mouth ever so slightly, but it was enough for him. He tilted his head to the side and deepened the kiss.
Li Na didn't know what to think when his lips moved against hers except that somehow for some reason it felt right, perfect. His kisses weren't frantic or sloppy. They were sweet. When he teasingly slid his tongue inside her mouth she was too stunned at first to react to the invasion. Then slowly she began to melt in his arms. Her hands slid up his chest, enjoying the feel of hard muscle beneath his suit until her hands found his shoulders. He groaned as he pulled her against him, enjoying himself until his conscience nagged at him. As wonderful as it felt to kiss her, he knew she needs to accept their relationship not as a drunken one-night mistake but as a full-fledged relationship.
He pulled back and looked into her eyes, "Li Na, goodnight and rest well." With a shaky breath, he turned around and called his driver to pick him.
