The sun had gone down, casting shadows over the mountain like a looming phantom. It was getting cold and the wind blew more violently, scattering pieces of rocks and stones that had been broken in the intense fight of the Knights.
The cloud kept spinning, tireless in its toil of sucking at the tips of the mountain. This sight left Sharen in awe. Whatever was causing the magical rains was far beyond his understanding. Powers he believed ruled this world.
Yet, he found his conclusion to be faulty. If there were powers ruling this world then why hadn't they acted when Khlatus awakened and wreaked havoc across the lands? Why hadn't such entities reacted, destroying the artefact and its creations?
