Sharen stood dumbfounded as the islanders in the room fell on their knees, kowtowing before him and worshipping him like some sort of deity that had risen from the ashes. He was stunned and so were Narene and Fryssel. They looked at him with wide eyes that carried thousands of questions.
Sharen felt small. He knew what the spark in Narene's eyes stood for. It was more adoration for the way he was being worshipped by the islanders. He knew Narene would look at him more like a god now than a human.
Fryssel had the same glow to his frosted eyes. His eyes twinkled as he regarded Sharen and the people who kept bowing and praising him, praying to him to forgive their insolence for dragging him along.
