Still in the alley
"Well I think my work here is done" Toku said as he started making his way out of the alley. Toku knew he had used too much time for the test, and Antonio would probably br mahd at him, so it was better he left now since he was done.
" Umm.....please what is your name?..." Toku was approaching the entrance of the alley which also served as exit but was stopped by the girl who he had just indirectly saved.
" Toku..." Toku answered the girls question with his back facing her while his head slightly placed sideways,
" Evelyn...." the girl said after getting Toku's name, Toku understood that she just told him her name so he just nodded before continueing walking out of the journey. " Let meet again sometime in the future" Toku saidas he finally exited the alley.
The sky was mixture of black and golden which made the sky look a little bit purplish indicating that it will soon nighted, the sun was already on it way bidding farwell as it slowly gave way to it's sister the moon to shine, Toku has already made his way back to the parking lot by using the pathway that Antonio instructed him to use.
Upon reaching the parking lot, the first thing that Toku saw was Antonio who was leaning beside his convertible. He had his hands folded across his chest with his head slightly tilted towards the night sky,
" Where have you been kid? you spent the whole day for a test that was mean't to take atmost 3 hours" Antonio asked as he entered into the car.
" Well there were some unexpected interferences" Toku said as he ackwardly scratched his head before following Antonio into the car
"START"
VVVRRRRROOOOOOMMMMM
Like the roar of a Dragon that has been asleep for many due to being cursed by humans, but someone had just proclaimed the magic word and woke the dragon up, Antonio's car roared before they drove out of ITI and onto the road.
Toku then began to narrate all that had happened, from when he saw tge group of five chasing after Evelyn down to how he saved her. Antonio was very happy that Tokh didn't get in trouble but what confused was how Toku's plan worked. To Antonio, there was a seventy percent chance if not more that Toku's plan would fail and that was if the supervisor had a bad attitude or a defected mentality and other factors too. But Antonio decided that there was nn need to worry because his plan worked.
The sky was already dark, indicating that the night has arrived as the moon was already in the sky. Despite that, Gratons city of Star dot continent was livelier than ever, the shops on the streets beside the road had customers walking in and out of them and the shops were decorated with colourful neon lights with each shop having it's own unique design and pattern.
The road also had street lamps which were placed at different strategic points along the road, allowing the drivers to see where they were going. Antonio drove with cars roof down, the cool wind blew in their faces and Toku really enjoyed it, it seemed as though the night had an ambiance that was cool and calm in the city that was unique only to the night and Toku really enjoyed it. After driving for what seemed to be an hour and half, they finally arrived at the two atoried building with their apartment.
They parked the car and Antonio and Toku walked to their apartment, after scanning his card at the scanner, the door was unlocked and they entered into the house. Toku went in and sat down on one of the couches, he really enjoyed the feeling of comfort it gave which could not even be felt in the forsaken realm. Antonio headed to the kitchen and after what seened to be fifteen minuted, Antonio came out with twi plates in his hand. Immediately he opened the door of the kitchen, the entire sitting room was filled with a sweet aroma and Toku who had his eyes closed enjoying the feel of comfort stood up immediately as he opened his eyes. He made his way to the dinning area and saw Antonio had started eating.
Toku sat opposite Antonio on the dinning table looked at the amazing dish in front of him. He liked his lips and put a spoonful of the dish into his mouth and just as he thought the dish was so much so delicious
'As expected of Antonio' Toku praised Antonio in his mind as he munched down on the delicious meal.
"Ooooh...I didn't even ask, so how was your test" Antonio asked as he finished eating.
" Nothing special, it's just that as I placed my hand on the shinning stone it didn't light up or show any reaction whatsoever" Toku replied calmly and non-chalantly to aAntonio's question.
"Oooh.....okay..." Antonio said as he drank water. A second later,
" Wait....what did you just say" Antonio shouted as he sat out water from his mouth.
"I said that the stone didn't light up at all" Toku then began talking narrating what had happened in the test room.
Antonio looked at Toku withhis jaw slacked as he listened to what Toku had to say. When Toku was done, he left the dinning a, he entered the kitchen to clean up his plate before entering his room leaving the dumbstruck Antonio in the dinning area.
Maybe Toku didn't know or understand the meaning of what he said but Antonio did. 'The stone didn't light up ot react. If what this kid is saying is true it either means the seeking stone is broken or Toku had a really hard life coming ahead of him, and if Toku's life was hard his will also be hard since heis his guardian.
' Does Toku really not have any any deviated cell but that is impossible, Captain Lizzy won't lie to me' Antonio was really confused as he thought about this, he massaged his forehead before leaving to this room after cleaning up in the kitchen. He decided to wait and see what happens tomorrow, only then will he be able to make a decision.
