The human mind is deep and incomprehensible, everyone carries a demon waiting to be unlocked and when that demon becomes uncontrollable, we blame it on the devil. Devil controls the demon, we human unlock the demon, who is the greater Devil at the end?
My name is Alex Reel, CEO of a company called MASK IT, a counseling agency known for its good reputation of privacy and discretion. People run to counselors when they face problem they tend not to find solution to or when they search for justification for their bad actions,of course they know it's bad, it just makes them feel better when someone else tells them it isn't. My job as the counselor is to make them feel good, whatever evil they do is just a necessary evil that is justifiable to me. Although they are other counselors in my company, I only counsel the VVIPs, they are the ones with the greater evil, the more power you have, the more evil you have to hide. A session is called MASK SESSION.The least duration for one session is 30 minutes which costs $10,000. Yes, you guessed right I'm a millionaire who's made a name for himself in this field. Although I keep my identity anonymous but my sessions are widely known in the country.
"Good morning Mr Reel, Sarah greeted me with a smile on her face." "Morning Sarah,"I replied winking at her. Sarah works at MASK IT as my secretary, she books my appointments with my clients and runs my schedule. "You look gorgeous in that red gown Sarah" I complimented her with a flirty tone. "Ah thank you Mr Reel" Sarah replies looking flushed. I know what you are thinking, I'm not a play boy trust me, I just can't help to compliment when I see a beautiful sight. "A cup of coffee to my office please" I said walking to my office. "Right away sir". Sarah said hurriedly. My office has a fingerprint lock that could only be opened with my fingerprint, this is for safety purposes as I keep highly confidential information about my clients in there. The inside of my office looks more of a confessional than an office. My seat and table has a demarcation made with glass from the client's seat and table, of course it's tinted, we can't both see each other. How do I read and interpret my client's expressions you ask? Don't you worry, I have my own personal skills under my sleeves, now back to my office. The arrangement looks like a booth, MASK IT protects her clients through this method. The clients walks into the agency through a secret door with a mask which makes it unknown to anyone who gets into the agency. This service is only made available to the VVIPs who must not be seen walking into the agency. My office sits at the topmost floor of the building with a secret elevator made only for me,Sarah and my clients. The only person who knows my face is Sarah, a former CIA agent who's gone MIA. How I met Sarah? I'll talk about that later on.
Sarah knocks gently on the door with a tray in one hand. "Yes Sarah" I responded, Sarah walks in towards my leisure table where I sit when I have no counseling session, she drops the cup of coffee gently on the table. "Here you go sir" Sarah said in a soft tone "Thank you Sarah, what's my schedule looking like today?" I asked gently sipping my coffee. "You have five MASK session today sir, a virtual meeting with the board of counselors and then your basketball game later in the evening" Sarah listed. "How long is each session today?" "An hour each sir" Sarah replied "That's five hours, okay! Let's do this. I said to Sarah with a smile holding my fist up. "Let's do this!" Sarah replies with the same gesture. Sarah walks out of my office as I continue sipping my coffee. Ten minutes later, the red light in my office wall starts blinking signaling my first client's arrival.
I quickly go behind the booth, pressed the door remote to let the client in.
"Good morning Counsellor" the voice sounded like a woman in her late 40's. I was good with telling how someone looked like from their voices but I couldn't tell more on this woman. Her voice gave no impression and was calm. I couldn't figure out her emotions from her voice either. I often used the emotions from my clients' voices to get to them but this woman voice gave no clue on what she was feeling. "This is going to be a hard nut to crack" I thought to myself "Good morning ma'am, what can I do for you today?" I responded with a friendly tone
"I poisoned my son" She declared
