Are you not liking this swarm of goblins? This horde of monster with monstrous powers? I can't believe it either, as I haven't witnessed a true war, this first time is too superb. The feeling of massacring creatures, squashing their hopes and enjoy watching them endure in agony, this is out of this world experience.
As I am completely getting eaten by my monster instinct, I can't stop laughing at humans, especially idiots one who only show off their strength.
I prepared an army of monsters, from the forest, and from the one I created. Well, not technically, I just enhanced their abilities by becoming my follower. I just used my skill to subordinate them, and now their power became twice. It seems that blessings of being my follower is random, or depends on their lacking or assets.
The monsters that I created are just tiger kins, however, they took a different form as they awaken another ability. Once they activate it they took a form of a giant tiger. Literal giant, they became trice the height of a human, that's how big they are.
Right now, I have 27 tiger kins, 25 goblins, and 13 hobgoblins at my hand. They seems ready for battle as the scouts from human side are coming. I just invited them to their death really. I know that they are innocent and only acting to survive, I just do this too to survive and do my job. It's inevitable not to have sacrifices, as this will have them a greater good.
Maybe humans on power may not be alarmed as they think they have plenty of human resources, but actually they don't have. I just can't explain but I'm confident at my job. I can flatten a mountain if I train... a couple of months.
Nobles are always like that... majority maybe. They think they can do everything with money, but what if there's no money? They are just powerless insects... maybe. I'm not sure, some bloodlines could be a threat to me.
I intentionally let go of those four humans. Oh... their reactions are priceless. They thought that I can't sense them, those fools! I can sense every beings in 1 kilometer diameter. I'm not that stupid to not notice them, I'm that confident at myself.
So why did I let them go? Of course, if they feel threaten, they will prepare to exterminate it. No one is fool to just evacuate without trying. I mean, no fool nobles will try to let go of improving their reputation. Most of all, subjugating a goblin king is a huge achievement that may have their ranks get higher.
That's why I use the human nature, greed. They were just attracting themselves to death. Courting your own death is not futile, no? After all if you die immediately you can be freed by this sufferings.
I waited for that scouts and it took them a week. Really, how slow are humans. Maybe they still posted something on their bulletins that, "come here, there is a goblin king, the head's prize is nobility", maybe something like that.
"/Subjugate the humans, but let go one of them injured to carry the information./" I ordered Rayas who is now have more defined lines at his body. Their strength are showed in their lines huh.
And the party started!
My monsters attacked the party of scouts. They sliced their heads letting the blood gush out uncontrollable. Voiceless screams echoed through out the forest and others cry more while crawling. The goblins are doing pretty good, they really are the strongest in their batch.
Does this seem evil? Does this really look cruel to the eyes of others? This isn't enough and this isn't cruel. The ones below the food chain always got eaten. The only difference is that I, and the humans have equal will and intellect but different nature. Just where is the reason behind there? They call every hideous looking evil without even knowing them. That's how their system works, so it equal too to think that nobles are greedy persons.
The time has come, we will attack the nearest human city. But really, why do I need to attack them? Well, it's for infiltrating human society. Exactly, human society is a difficult place so I need a path to enter it.
Just how will I enter that society? Oh come one! I have 300+ INT stats, I already thought about it. Of course I'll become a human, rather, look like a human.
I ordered my men to march into the direction I pointed. Across the river in the east of this forest, a fortress city exist. Those humans, shall taste my power. Without a reason. I'll have them taste a power of an entity who'll become a demon lord in the future, without a reason.
Just kidding. It's for a greater good really. I'll use them for a greater good.
As the formation of human soldiers emerged in our field of view, my men started crying of excitement. They release their loud voice being amplified by their spirits.
Men are men, that phrase is something I can't deny.
"Attack."
Cries from different side started. My monster started to move as they rushed through the front line of the humans. As a reaction, humans also moved their front line and started lifting their weapons. But somehow, I can see some organized fellow from their behind. Are they mercenaries?
Mercenaries are technically persons mostly responsible for material recompense at the price of ethical. They don't have sense of loyalty towards their employer. As long as there's a reward for their deeds, they'll take it. And somewhat I can understand them. Really... My soul is like that.
The goblins started to fight and showed some surprising acts that made humans shocked.
Heee... Don't think of them as normal monsters. If you let your guard down, you're dead.
Although being small, they used is on their advantage to slay their enemies. That's what I noticed in their fight with the monsters we encounter. And for the monsters that I subordinate, plus half of the strongest tiger kins, I ordered them to attack the defenseless city. Being lead by Rayas, I became relaxed in their success mission.
The front line of humans was annihilated completely leaving my monster unscathed. Just how this humans so weak? Should I give them a little intimidation.
"HUMANS ARE SO WEAK! THEY ARE JUST SO WEAK THAT CAN BE EASILY SQUASHED LIKE A POOP. AFTER ALL, RELYING ON THEIR MAGIC IS USELESS, THEY ARE STILL WEAK THAT THEY WOULD CRY ON THEIR MOTHER'S SKIRT! SO SMELLY LIKE A POOP!"
That would be enough I guess.
