While having a conversation with the system, Lucifarge kept scratching his head. Because of the events that occurred on his first day as a reincarnator, he couldn't help but display a confused expression. What happened to him? He understood some things, but others remained incomprehensible to him.
First, he didn't know who and why his reincarnation was interrupted. Second, why would he be in a goblin's body if he was supposed to be reincarnated as a human? Finally, what did the system imply about being a human-monster?
[Because of the interruption in accessing your body, I, the system, apologize for the inconvenience. It was clearly my fault for not rechecking the process. And because of it, you suffered for 10 days. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to discover who interrupted the proper reincarnation process.]
[The interruptions began when your soul passed through the human vein soul. The first stumbling block was deciding on the appropriate body; the first plan was to reincarnate the beloved reincarnator in the body of a prince. And the second interruption occurred when you chose another body, but your soul slipped into the vein soul of the monster.]
[Sincerely, I, the system, would like to apologize again for the things I'll tell you...]
The system waited for Lucifarge's answer. Lucifarge did not appear to speak at first, presumably because he was still processing what the system had just said. He understood why he was not in the body of a prince; clearly, there was someone who wanted to stop his reincarnation.
He couldn't help but let out a snicker in amusement. In this state, he can't help but think that there's someone out there who doesn't want him reincarnated. Having an enemy just before reincarnating seems to be troublesome.
"So, why did it take 10 days? If you could just move me to a more powerful monster, "
The system could not speak appropriately in Lucifarge's furious tone. It properly organized what to say to avoid Lucifarge's wrath.
[I didn't manage to access your body and soul because of the... compatibility of that monster.]
"Ah. Compatibility?" Then he let out an awkward chuckle. "The hell?! Is my value the same as monsters? And for heaven's sake, goblin? How shallow am I from your perspective? Really! This is bullshit!"
As if talking to somebody, Lucifarge complained to heaven. He even lifted his middle finger in his annoyance. But when he seemed to see someone delightedly grinning at the sky, he was much more irritated.
After a few minutes of Lucifarge's wrath, the system spoke again. It calmed Lucifarge down to continue the explanation. As for Lucifarge, he needs to know what he should do now that he is a human-monster. Being stubborn, the system clearly showed him that it couldn't touch Lucifarge for a moment. Just a second ago, three dots showed.
[Being a human-monster is not bad. However, you can't become human again. You will always be between a human and a monster. And, as a first step, you must increase your strength, or the system motherboard will deactivate your boost and you will remain weak in Monsterland.]
Lucifarge soothed down, then scratched his nape awkwardly. This became his habit when he got his goblin body. He then recalled what happened before he got reincarnated and what he should do in exchange for his reincarnation.

After crossing the road, Lucifarge, whose former name was Hanzel, was still a human in the modern world, was hit by a truck, and the force of the impact caused him to fly away and split his body from his abdomen. The blood gushed out as his organs began to tear out from each other, rolling on the road.
When Hanzel's soul came out, there was a light that seemed to be calling him. But before that, he took a peek at his ruined body. Blood was scattered on the road; it seemed like the impact was strong.
He felt no sadness or remorse when he found out he had died. He had no attachment to the world, as he believed it became both simple and complicated. As a result, he immersed himself in mythology and novels about magic and fantasy, ignoring the world's offers because they were too easy to obtain and complicated to manage. All he could think about was going somewhere else in the universe to find the pleasure he desired.
When he approached the light, it sucked him in and transferred him into a wide white room. Checking his surroundings, he saw a woman sitting on a throne.
When the woman stood up, the first word that entered his mind was "Goddess." He was overwhelmed by the woman's beauty. Long waist-length hair shiny as gold, long eyelashes that matched her diamond-like eyes, and her thin mouth that was red on her fair skin.
"Goddess, right?" He said as the woman approached him.
The woman smiled and caressed Hanzel's face. "I like your eyes. I'll give you the name, Lucifarge," she said, with her voice as cold as ice. However, that coldness was something warming; her voice sounded nostalgic to Hanzel.
"What am I doing here? Have you perhaps called me?"
The woman nodded while still keeping her sweet smile. She raised her hand and laid it on Hanzel's forehead.
When the woman's soft hand touched him, various information entered Hanzel's brain. Things he needed to do in his next life. Why was he chosen and why was he reincarnated? He also saw some partial information about what was happening in human society. Humans were suffering not only from monsters but also from officials who had been tasked with leading them. Humans, on the other hand, were greedy creatures, and officials immersed themselves in it.
He smiled back at the woman, who was still looking at him.
"I'll take a form as Lucifarge, and all I have to do in exchange for my reincarnation in a world I desire is fix it as the Demon Lord. I will become a prince, and as a result of society's disorganization, I will eventually become an enemy of humanity. I shall step down and die at the hands of humans when I have united humanity. But my life will not finish there; I will return to be the ruler of a country that will restore order to the world after the Demon Lord's chaos. And the system, which will be the other half of myself, is the most crucial aspect of anything."
The woman nodded in agreement with Hanzel, saving time spent explaining. Hanzel simply smiled at the woman and inquired as to her true identity.
"I am not the goddess you believe me to be. I'm just the system's matriarch. And yours is a one-of-a-kind system. 'Perfectly complementary.'"
Hanzel nodded in response to the pause in their discourse. They appear to comprehend each other merely by staring at each other and meeting their gazes. Hanzel stepped closer to the door after they were finished.
"Great. I'll do a great job, 'Great Mother.'" Hanzel smiled as he walked through the door.
As he reclined against a tree, Lucifarge sighed. A transparent square appeared in front of him when he called out his status.

"They are all self-explanatory skills. Their names tell their abilities so I guess I should not pay more attention to it. I'll just think of a proper way to promptly use them."
Lucifarge rose and stretched his bones. Something rang in his ear after he accidentally kicked the tree.

[You have earned 2 exp.]
Lucifarge was taken aback, and he simply kicked it. And simply kicking a tree has already given him two experience points. He rubbed his head, wondering if he was now too powerful.
The tree crashed down seconds after he kicked it. As a result, his eyes became more dilated. It rang again when it dropped.

[You have earned 5 exp.]

So he was so scratchy again out of curiosity that he decided to question the system.
[Because of the 5 boost on your system, every move you make contributes to your status.]
He just nodded because that was understandable. It was fair to him if he had to be strong for what he would do as a Demon Lord. The elements are necessary so that he does not become bored again.
On Earth, he lives a simple life. Simply put, he is a wealthy child, something that really isn't simple, but it doesn't matter. Reminiscing about that life, he was perplexed as to why he had died in the run-up. Well, it's not that he doesn't like his new life; it's only that he compares it to his old one, that gaming elements are really exciting. On some level, gaming element is also present on Earth.
Gaming elements only occur in video games, but not in real life. Even virtual reality isn't fully immersive yet, which is why he's dissatisfied, to please his boredom, he regularly trains. For obvious reasons, he is a troublemaker. Even if he wishes to live a fantasy life, he did not lose sight of the true meaning of strength.
Maybe he wouldn't be bored, literally bored with the world if his life right now was the same as it was before.
The world he is in right now is what the modern world describes as a fantasy world. Warriors exist, as there are also formidable monsters. Mages exist, as there is mana in the surrounding. The world is just a normal fantasy world, however, Lucifarge here isn't a normal being. He is a virus for this world since he has a different power standard called a system.
His system is something similar to RPG games. He slays, he earns exp. He trains, he receives quantified stats. Something like this is new to this world.
After a few seconds, he noticed a disturbance. A sound of a monster or an animal crying in pain. Immediately, he dashed over to investigate. It may be a suffering creature that needs help.
He jumped into the tree branches to avoid being spotted if there was a more formidable monster nearby. After exactly seven hops, he arrived at the screaming location. When he glanced at it, he saw a bloody white wolf with a pup next to it.
Despite its obvious incompetence, the infant wolf strives to protect its mother, but on the other hand, a smiling ogre stares at them.
The white wolf coughed from screaming. The baby sobbed as blood gushed out of her mouth.
"Ahh... his bravery"
*Ding*
The sound and the transparent window materialized before him, which made him distract.

Rewards: Whole Stats of Ogre, Inventory
Failure Penalty: Death at the hands of an Ogre.

Lucifarge smiled awkwardly at what he read. He just laughed weakly at what the system gave him.
"You're kidding me, right? I don't think a hobgoblin can defeat an ogre."
[No, I don't know. If you don't kill it right now, you will still die afterward. The ogre will become stronger than you imagine if it kills that creature.]
At that statement of the system, Lucifarge decided on his next move.
