The creature simply watched as it saw us break into a sprint, the once unconscious German man leading the way. My mind felt pressured as if someone was stepping on my brain, an uncomforting feeling that I had only felt once before, during that time with the T-Rex two weeks ago. But strangely, Isaac's reaction to the creature was what made me fear it even more. In the face of death and after having been told he had almost died to the same dinosaur, he hadn't reacted to that visage as violently as he had with the creature stalking us now. I stole a glance at the being once more, its head tilted ever so slightly to its side, that wide grin of his causing a shiver to sweep through me like lightning, threatening to paralyze my body. I turned to the front, noticing something I had missed in my initial terror.
"Isaac!" I ran up to his side, the question heavy in my mind, and almost stopped in my tracks. Tears fell down his face and his clothes were drenched, even in the more embarrassing of places. He either didn't hear me approach or was too terrified to think of anything else, but he clambered after the man who seemed in pain. "Isaac!" he turned to me then, swallowing with anxiety. "Where's Henry?"

Please stop, I pleaded as the three voices in my head continued screaming, I didn't even know if I was going in the correct direction. As I thought to turn down the left corridor, the screams became more frantic which caused my head to swim in agony. I turned right and the screams became their usual vibrato. Through the pain, I could feel Jason's concern as if it was a living thing, placing a hand on my shoulder as we stumbled down in the darkness. I didn't want to look back again, to see the source of my pain and their fear, so I kept going forwards, doing the best that I could.

No, how, how? why? It, it shouldn't be here, why now? My mind came up with many possibilities, an hallucination ? No, the others had seen it also. An illusion ? but an illusion can't be that, real. My mind raced, trying to come up with some answer that was different from the one my panic had come up with.
"Isaac!" that voice, that was Jacob, wasn't it. Yes, he might be able to get us out. I turned to him, seeing a face that was scrunched up in panic. "Where's Henry?" he asked. Henry, who was that? It shouldn't be here, why, why was that creature here.

Isaac turned back around, his face a mess of emotion.
"Don't you dare look away from me!" I shouted at him, but he barely flinched, his mind whirling. Levin turned to me at that moment, slowing in his sprint in order to run alongside me.
"I haven't seen him, but I hope he's alright," Levin stated in an encouraging tone. He winced as he ran, but didn't complain as he understood the gravity of the situation. I didn't answer. I hoped he was okay, but if he isn't, then. I stared at Isaac pointedly, if he's not okay, I will kill you and try this again.

I stood from my seat as I saw him. The guard in front of me was surprised at my sudden movement, reaching for his weapon, before his eyes flitted to the same monitor and his hands relaxed. Get up! I wanted to scream the words, make them loud enough for him to hear them from where he was. But, why ? It was his fault for being in a situation he can't control in the first place, so why am I concerned for him? I placed my head in my hands, rubbing my eyes, I could play on this, make the guard in front of me feel sympathy.
"Hey look," the guard exclaimed as a silhouette in the darkness hoisted Henry onto their shoulders, carrying him from the pool of blood.
