The months following Trixie's little "chat" with Vicky were incredibly busy, yet also quite peaceful. Thanks to their new home and the work that came with it, the half-blooded children formerly of the Honey Pot Institute where now much happier and healthier as a whole. Trixie was thrilled with their growth, though she still had mixed feelings about their circumstances.
Ever since they'd moved to the castle grounds, the only man she'd been with was Emerick. This wasn't necessarily a bad thing, he was certainly charming, attentive, delightfully mischievous, and he could fill her every need, but she was beginning to grow too comfortable around him. More often than she'd wake up in his room instead of hers, and she naturally gravitated towards him, even when she had time to herself. Her growing attachment was quite troubling… Even if they were currently in a better place, love still really wasn't an option. The world hadn't changed that much.
