"Ruined you say?" Emerick chuckled. "I'm sure we can salvage it. The night is still young after all."
"Would you just get this over with?" Trixie snapped. "I really don't feel like playing one of your little games right now."
"Oh, but they're so fun!"
"Emerick!"
"Fine, fine," Emerick waved a hand. "I've had my fun, I'll get serious."
Trixie stared at him pointedly as he moved around the desk to his chair. Part of her considered climbing into his lap, but she decided he'd enjoy that too much, and she couldn't have that. She was angry with him after all. She settled for leaning against the wall.
"At the turn of the season, a wedding between two prominent families will be occurring. Simply put, your mission is to sabotage the wedding," Emerick announced.
