Chapter 31 - Enjoying the show

Hash chose the larger firecrackers to scare the archers and to break away from their formation. Isabel's firecrackers were inconsistent, regardless of the size of uniformity. Some of them undeniably strong and shook the ground.

"Alright, let's go!" The archers were not very good with the swords. That's why it didn't take long for the Novalian Army to conquer them.

The rest were now being slain mercilessly. With Wing Master, he didn't even need to think. Sometimes the blood would splat on his garb, and he hated the smell of it. He didn't want to smell like a vampire or a zombie near the missus.

The sun was almost setting, and he just wanted to go home. The Byzen's army still not vanquished.

"F!" He cursed.

"Get me those bombs and kill these mothersuckers." Someone from his troop brought him his stash.

"Everyone back away!" He commanded. The Byzens thought they were retreating.

All Novalian soldiers got into the gates.

Byzen's Great General Mcfee thought the crowned prince was suicidal. As he ordered everyone in, but stayed behind.

"Your bravery is exemplary, your majesty!"

It's closer to being a lunatic, the great general thought.

"Whatever!" Hash lights two huge bombs and ran inside the gates. The explosions made huge crates on the grounds outside the gates. The general, though still alive, lost his arm.

Hash looked down at the Byzen men from at the walls tower.

"Your bravery is way exemplary, General." Then he turned, he left in a hurry.

He didn't even take his horse, but took a carriage.

Meanwhile, Isabel was sitting near the window watching Lady Mau and Gwin sparring. They were destroying the plants in the garden. She didn't bother to stop them because she had available punishments for them.

"Hm. What are you doing?" His voice was so low that it tickled Isabel's ear down to her abdominal area.

"You!" She attempted to hit him again, but paused because it would hurt her again.

She instead looked for a soft spot to hit him. And she indeed found it. She slapped his butt and smiled wickedly.

"I didn't know you're into that quirk." He said. Then examined the activities outside.

He realized the fight between the ladies. Hash closes his eyes and massaged his temples.

"What is with them?" His face was twisted.

"No idea." She shrugged. Then pretended to stare at her iPad, which was now charged on a DIY solar-powered charger.

He wanted to ask Isabel why she didn't stop them, but he knows she had something in her mind that will make the situation even worse. She was jealous, she will admit it or not.

"What's going on?" Hash went out to the ladies, their fight tore the clothes they were wearing.

"Your highness." Lady Mau flung her arms towards him. Isabel saw it from the window, so she quickly rushed to Hash's side.

"Hm, so ladies. You like to break the rules, do you?" She subtly puts herself between Lady Mau and Hash.

"So tell me, what is happening here?" He pulling Isabel away from both ladies and clasped her right hand.

"Your highness." Lady Mau wanted to come closer to Hash.

"Stay where you are," Isabel commanded.

"The princess ordered us to share a room ." Lady Gwin said directly, no opportunity for Lady Mau to whine.

"So, is that something that you need to fight about?" The rooms in his mansion were as huge as someone else's apartment in New York.

"But everyone has their rooms except us, and the princess didn't allow me to bring my dowry in." She faked a sob of injustice.

Hash heard Isabel's soft giggles behind him.

"Honey, why can't they have their own rooms?" He turned, the way his forehead folded mesmerized Isabel.

"There are only six rooms left." Hash knew she would have the full but crazy analogy of why six rooms weren't enough, but he would want to hear and laugh at it.

"Uh-um, and?" It's to encourage her to continue.

"Well, I need six of them, first my personal room, it's my privilege since I am the princess. The second is my office, and the third is my workshop." She shrugged her shoulders again.

"Uh-um, so what about the other three?" Hash took her hand and gently bit her knuckles with his lips to suppress his laughter.

"For the three little Blasians." She raised both her eyebrows and then pouted like a kid.

Hash burst out laughing.

"Alright! You two ladies talk this out while the princess and I will make a new race." He picked Isabel up, then carried her inside.

Inside Hash's room, they can still hear Lady Mau and Gwin destroy his properties, but his focus is on Isabel.

"Now, let's go make Blasian babies." He said, teasing her.

"We're not officially married yet." She murmured, but not even stopping him.

"We need practice." Whispering it in her ears, it tickles her whole body.

He throws her onto the mattress, ready to devour her this time. But poof! She disappears.

"Isabel!" He called.

Hash pulled his hair and kicked the bed out of frustration.

Isabel landed on the soft sand near her small hut in the Raven's Cove. It's a mid-day in Borres.

"No!" That is what she can only say. She looks around if someone saw that she magically appeared in the sand. But nobody is there, so it relieves her. Otherwise, she has to explain things that regular humans should not know.

She needs to research things about this phenomenon and also needs to go back to her Hash. She stood up while holding her iPhone, which she didn't know if it's a good thing.

She hurriedly gets inside her small house and takes the walkie-talkie.

"Alex, it's me, Isabel." She said. Calling Alex.

"Isabel! Oh my god, we thought you were dead!" She obviously startled Alex.

"I think cancer is affecting my brain, that I can't remember what happened to me." She said to avoid more questions.

Few minutes have passed Ed picked her up and brought her to the resort's hospital.

"How long did I go missing?" She needed to act quickly so no one will suspect her.
