The next morning the kids woke up finding themselves in a strange place. "Where are we?" Said Ryz. He looked around and couldn't figure it out. "Kiran! He's still out of it." Ryz went over to stay with him.
The old man came into the room. "Hello Ryz and Zel." They looked at the old man as he spoke. "So you are the Blue Wizard." Said Ryz. "Why does everyone keep calling me that? Probably because I have handsome hair. Haha." "Sir is Kiran going to be ok?" "Call me Levi. That is my name." "Ok Levi is Kiran going to be ok?" "To be honest I was watching you all. You fought pretty good. As for Kiran I Know his situation. I have only used the power once I don't know if it helped him or not. I did what I can for him now its up to him to wake up." "Thank you Levi." "When the young man wakes up we will talk ok?'" "Yes sir." Said Ryz "By the way, about your sister." "Oh she doesn't talk do to shock from the fire in our village." "Yes I know. I heard she will talk when she gets back." She nodded.
Kiran started groaning like he was in pain. "Argh. Ha…ha… Arg!" "(Sigh) I really hope he makes it." Said the old man. He went and got a rag and some cold water to wipe his sweat. Then Ryz talked to him about staying alive for them his kids and wife.
Four days later Kiran was still asleep. Still in pain but not as much. It was around noon that day. The old man Levi was talking to the kids, then they heard a sound next to them. "Kids?" said Kiran. Everyone looked at Kiran shocked. "Kiran! Are you ok?" "I think so." He opened his eyes and said, "Are you kids both ok?' "Yeah we're fine. You almost died." "Yeah I figured as much" He slowly sat up but was in pain. "Ow." Then he leaned on the wall. "You must be the Blue Wizard Levi I have been hearing about." "Yes and you are Kiran. You are still hurt. You haven't fully healed yet after getting bit by the manticore. The poison is gone but the wound is still there." "I'll live. I'm a fast healer. So I take it you know why we came all this way." "Yes I do. You want to know more about the connection between you and these children." "Yes so can you explain it more to me?" "I will." "The kids told me how you saved them from being kidnapped. Then you ran off after the men got killed off. These kids have had a spell on them since birth. I promised their parents that if anything happened to them I will make sure the kids were protected so I put the spell on them myself. The first one to save them was going to protect them until the end of their days. I am sure you are confused about the visions you have been seeing and how you can protect them. Well the only thing I know is that the closer it comes to the time to the danger the more stronger the vision becomes. As for how to protect them, just protect them like a normal person. If the danger comes them keep them away as much as possible. I am sure you are doing what you can for the kids. As for your condition you are in now, I have known about your power for a long time. My father was the one that gave you the power. I used my power to help you. If it worked, the power shouldn't slowly kill you anymore. It shouldn't kill you at all but it will surely exhaust you." "Thank you sir. For explaining it to us." Said Kiran. "Is there a way you can get us closer to home to avoid the monsters?" "My powers aren't what they used to be. I can't promise anything but I can get you as close as I can.. I will see you if you don't make it ok? Let us pray that you make it. When you get home get some rest." "Thanks Levi." "Ok Kids and Kiran stand together. Hang on to each other tight and don't let go ok?" They did as they were told and in an instant they disappeared from the cave.
When they landed, they barely made it back to the gate "Ow. Damn! My shoulder." "You ok Kiran?" said Ryz. "Yeah I will be. Lets get back home."
When they got home Kiran and the kids slowly walked in. "Honey I'm home." Said Kiran. Kairi was asleep on the couch. The babies must be asleep. Why don't you kids go rest a bit in your rooms. You have had a long journey. "Ok Kiran. Thanks." Said Ryz.
Kiran kissed Kairi's head. "Hmm. Kiran?" "Yes its me." "Kiran! Thank god. I'm glad your back. I missed you." She hugged him tight. "Ow easy. I missed you too." "Oh sorry." "Its fine I should be healed soon. I got bit by a manticore. I had the antidote so I'm fine now. Are the kids asleep?" "Yeah they are napping. How are the other kids?" "They are fine. I told them to get some rest."
"Did you actually meet the Blue Wizard?" "Yeah I did. Listen there is something I haven't told you about. The kids already know. When I was younger I was given a power that I was told would kill me the more I used it. It would kill me slowly. I had to use it quite a bit in training as what I am now. I also had to use it on the manticore that is why it bit me." "Oh Kiran. Are you ok now?" "According to the old man I should be fine. If I use the power again it would exhaust me not kill me now. Levi wasn't the one that gave me the power but his father was. How long have the kids been asleep?" "Oh they should be waking up any time now."
Not long after the babies started crying. "Waah Waah." "I'll get them Kairi." I went in to get my boys. "Hey boys. I missed you so much." So I carried them out the living room and saw Zel and Ryz. "OH hey kids. Did you have a nice rest?" said Kiran. Then Zel looked at Ryz. Then he nodded. "Yes we had a good rest." Said Zel. "Your finally talking again. You do have such a beautiful voice." Said Kiran. "Thank you Kiran." "Oh is that the babies? Can I feed one?" Said Zel. "Sure you want to feet the other one Ryz?" "Of course. I love babies." The kids sat on the couch and got situated then Kiran gave each one a bottle for the babies.
Once they were done feeding the boys, they gave them to Kiran. "Here why don't you burp Ciel Kairi. I will burp Titus." "Sure." So they put a rag over there shoulder and burped the babies. After they changed them.
"Ok now lets get them in the playpen." "Oh Kiran. You need to say hi to the two creatures in the back." "Oh yeah. I can't forget about them." So I walked out and said hi to Axel and Luna. "Hey guys. Sorry I took so long to get back." Axel and Luna ran over to me and hugged me. "Aww. I missed you guys too. Lets go inside the kids are back too." "Yay lets go Luna." So they went in and saw Zel and Ryz. "Hello Ryz and Zel." "Oh Axel. Its good to see you again." Said Zel. "Woah your talking now? That's great." So they visited a bit. "Ok Ryz and Zel why don't you two play outside with Luna and Axel for a bit ok?" "OK Kiran." Said Zel. So they did as they were told.
After awhile I said, "Hey Kairi? I was thinking about something. Its about the kids. The Cyborg kids. What about having them learn a little from old lady Ada? She can teach them about medicinal herbs and spells and all that kinds of stuff." "Well I think that would be up to them." "I think it's a good idea now that Zel is talking. I was just waiting for her to talk. I was thinking about this for awhile now." "Yeah sounds good to me. I learned a lot from her. That's how I came to know you in the first place when we were younger." I got the shivers. "It still gives me the shivers from back then. That woman is crazy." "Hehe. Well she is like a grandmother to you Kiran." "Yeah well grandma's sure are scary. If my mother were still alive I bet she would be. As for father who is still alive I can't say. That reminds me my brother Talon wanted me to come over with the kids when I got back. Mind if I go now with them? I want to bring the Cyborg kids as well." "Yeah sure. Let me change them real quick I already made bottles for them and got a bag packed." "Ok thanks."
After awhile the kids came in along with Axel and Luna. "Oh hey kids, Axel and Luna. What's Up? You having fun?" "Yeah we are." Said Zel. "Good cause you two and my boys are going to meet my brother Talon. You guys will be meeting him for the first time." "Yeah sounds good." Said Ryz. "Since my sister can talk expect her to be talkative she has been like that since she was first able to talk until the fire and recently now she might talk your head off at random stuff." "Haha well I will be starting work tomomorrow and on the way to brothers I have something to talk to you too about ok?" "Yeah sure."
Kairi came out with the boys. "Oh good. Thanks Kairi. Get Some rest ok?" "Yeah thanks Kiran." "Ready kids? Lets head out." I gave Kairi a hug and a kiss on the cheek not to gross the older kids out. Then we left the house.
I was holding both boys and said, "There is an old lady in the village who is like my grandma. She can be scary sometimes but its for your own good I guess. Her name is Ada. I was going to have you two learn stuff from her. You would be leaning about Herbs that can help for medical issues. Also about spells and other things." "Sounds good to me." Said Zel. "I agree it sounds good as well." Said Ryz. "Ok good. We are almost to brother Talon's house."
We finally got to my brothers house and knocked on the door. (Knock Knock) "Brother its me. Kiran." Talon opened the door and invited us all in. "Go ahead and sit down all of you." So we sat down and Talon started talking. "So Kiran I see you brought a couple of Cyborgs here." "Oh sorry yes. Remember the kids I told you about that I saved way back then. This is them. Kids introduce yourselves." "My Name is Zel." "I'm Ryz. Nice to meet you." "Likewise. So Kiran did you take these two in?" "Yeah I did." The kids got off Kiran and ran to uncle Talon. "Hey you two don't get too rowdy." "Haha its ok Kiran. They are fine. How's Kairi?" "She's good. I gave her a break from the kids today. I hope she is resting." "Yeah me too. You work so she has to stay home with them." "Oh speaking of work I have to go back tomorrow. Zel and Ryz are going to see old lady Ada soon." Talon shivered. "Good luck kids I wish you well." "Oh Talon. Have you heard from the sisters lately?" "Fawn is doing good. Hazel doesn't come around so I don't know what she is doing or where." "I rarely get to see any. Your lucky you get to see them. I see dad sometimes but not the sisters." "I see dad about as much as you I guess. I wonder what Hazel has been up to? I hope she's all right." "I'm sure she is. You know her. She is strong." "Yeah I hope you are right. I hope to see her on one of my missions." "If you do, tell her to stop by ok?" "Yeah sure I will do my best."
So they all visited awhile and Talon got to know the kids a little bid then it was finally time to go.
"Well we best be going Talon." "Ok Kiran. Come and see me once in awhile." "I will do my best. Next time I have a day off I will come by and say Hi." "Uh huh you've said that before." "Haha I know. I will do my best. Bye Talon. OK kids time to go." The kids ran over to Zel and Ryz. "Ok ok fine. Be good you two." "Do you kids mind carrying them?" "No of course we don't. We would be happy too." Zel said before Ryz could open his mouth. "Thanks." So the kids carried the little ones the whole way home.
"Hey honey I'm home." "Oh your back. Good. We have a visitor." "Oh who might it be?" We finally got to the living room and I was shocked to see who it was. "H-Hazel? Is that you?" "Yeah Kiran its me. You are the first one I saw. I don't think brother or sister know I'm back yet. Or father." "Are you ok?" "I'm not sure. Oh are these your little ones?" "Yes this is Ciel and Titus. These older kids I took in are Ryz and Zel." "Oh Cyborg kids. Nice to meet you both." "Likewise." Said Ryz. "I was thinking maybe we could talk on our way to old lady Ada's place." "its getting late so yeah I'll walk with you. Ryz and Zel? Could you help Kairi until I get back?" "Yeah sure we will." Said Zel. "Ok thanks you two. Lets go Hazel." So we walked out and I started a talk with Hazel.
"Have you been gone because you have been hurt?" "Not really no. I have been gone for 6 years. Something strange has been happening to me. I couldn't figure it out so the only place I would be able to think of was lady Ada or you." "Oh I just got back from Talon's house. He told me that once I saw you for you to come by. He looked like he has something important to tell you." "I have a feeling I know what that is. Until Lady Ada can find out what's wrong with me, I can't visit anyone. Next time you see anyone in the family tell them that ok?" "I will do my best. You know all of them would want to come see you here right?" "Its fine. As long as I don't leave the place or hurt anyone." "I'm sure you will be fine as well as them." I patted her head. "I missed this Kiran." "Haha when you were younger you hated it." "Yeah well. I don't anymore. I took things for granted. I won't do it again."
