As we were walking the kids got along well with Hazel they asked a bunch of questions and she asked some back. They seem like siblings already. "We are almost there guys. So be careful around here there are dangerous creatures so try not to egg them on ok? Ryz." "Yeah Ok ok. I Won't." "So you are a troublemaker too huh Ryz?" said Hazel. "Yeah well I can't help it. I like taking action." "Hehe I was the same way. Me and my brother Talon." "Yeah she is right. I had to save their buts every time they were in trouble." "haha. That's understandable you take good care of us." Said Ryz. "yeah well I think of you both as my little brother and sister."
We finally got to Ada's without any trouble which is worrying me. I was quiet until we got to Ada's. "Hey Kiran are you ok?" said Zel. "Huh? Yeah I'm fine. We need to hurry." We finally got to Ada's and I knocked on the door. (Knock Knock) "Who is it?" Said an old lady. "Its Kiran and Hazel. We brought a couple of kids with us." "Come in then." Old lady Ada looked at Hazel then at me and the kids. "So Hazel you probably have come to me because you think you have been cursed is that right?" "Yes maam I have." "Lay down here let me take a look at you. Why do you think you have been cursed?" "The one I got away from after 6 years said they knew you. He said that he cursed me. There were only 2 ways the curse would go away. Either he dies, or I get help from you." "I see and who might this person be?" "He said his name was Drax." Old lady Ada had a serious face on. "Do you know where it is you escaped from?" "I know it was somewhere in the mountains. I fought off a few monsters and eventually got here. I fought off some snake beastman and dragon beastmen. "I see then I have a clear Idea of where he might be. Yes you have been cursed. It will take awhile for me to help you. In the meantime we will have to chain you up at night." "Yes maam." "call me Ada or old lady Ada. Everyone does." "OK thanks Ada." "As for you 3. What brings you here?" Then I spoke up. "Old lady Ada. Something strange happened on the way here. It was a little too easy to get here. What happened to the monsters?" "Oh that. It was because of Hazel. Don't worry about it. What are kids doing here?" "Oh yes that is why I am here. I was wondering if you can keep the kids here and teach them a thing or two of medicinal herbs and how to treat wounds and stuff. Whatever else you can teach them." "How long will they be staying here?" "I would like them to stay here for at least a month if that's ok. I will be coming back here to check once a week on how progress is going." "sigh Fine. Kids you better listen to me ok? I will show you to your rooms. Say goodbye to Kiran if you have to first." Zel ran over to me and hugged me. "I will miss you Kiran." "I'll miss you too Zel. I will be here once a week so be good ok? You too Ryz. Take care of each other." "Yes sir." Said Ryz. So I left and kids went to their rooms.
I got home safely like last time which is really creeping me out. "Honey I'm back home." "Oh good. You have a visitor. You have been having a lot of those lately." "Yeah sorry honey." "Oh its fine." I went to the living room and saw who it was and I was shocked. "Father what are you doing here? What happened? You don't look so good." "He wouldn't tell me. He said he wanted to wait until you got here." "Its your sister Fawn. She is in critical condition. What happened? Where is she?" "She was attacked by a manticore. They don't have an antiodote. They said even if she gets it there is no guarantee she will survive." "Father where is she? I can help her. I'm sorry honey. I just got home and have to leave again." "Its fine dear just be careful out there." "Yeah I'll try. Come on father." "All right." I followed my father to wear Fawn was.
"Fawn!" I was stopped by a guard. "She is my sister!" I said. "Let him in. He is here to help her." The guard finally let me in and I ran to my little sister. "Talon you're here as well." "Yeah after I heard she was in critical condition I ran here." "What are you doing here Kiran?" "I am here to help her." "You really can? Then do it." "Where is her wounds? I have to bleed into it." They unwrapped Fawns wounds and I looked away for second cause they were bad. I cut my hand and bled into her wounds. I bled as much as I could until she was stable. Which she eventually was then they wrapped her wound back up. I was feeling a little dizzy then passed out myself. "Kiran!" yelled Talon.
A few hours later I woke up. "Hmm. Ha…ha.. What happened?" I said. "Kiran! Your finally awake! Thank god." Said Talon. "How you feeling Kiran?" "My head hurts a little. How is Fawn now?" "If she wakes up then she will pull through." "That's good. Can I see her?" "Yeah follow me." I followed Talon to where Fawn was. When we got there she was still unconscious. "Oh Fawn. What the hell did you get yourself into." I held her hand like I did when we here younger. Then he fell asleep while holding her hand.
About 2 hours later. Kiran was still asleep and Fawn was just waking up. "Hmm. Where? Where am I?" She moved and said "Ow. Oh that's right I was attacked. What is that warm feeling?" She looked next to her and saw Kiran was holding her hand. "Oh Kiran. I'm sorry to worry you." She laid back down because of the pain and moved her hand carefully not to wake up but he woke up anyway. "Sorry to wake you Kiran." Said Fawn. "Hmm. Fawn is that you?" "Yes I'm awake now." "Fawn! Thank god your awake! I will be right back. Let me tell a doctor." A doctor came in within seconds. "Fawn. How are you feeling?" "A little sore. The only thing that hurts is my wound. How bad is it?" Then I spoke up. "It was pretty bad Fawn. I had to help with the poison." "You? How did you help?" "Don't worry about it. The best thing for you is to rest. Talon come with me for a second please. I have to go after this fawn so take care ok?" "Yeah sure." I pulled Talon over and said, "If you tell Fawn anything about what I did I will kill you. I am not joking." "I know I won't." "You better not." So I told the doctors as well to keep it a secret then went back home.
Back at old lady Ada's house. "Ok now try to find an herb that looks like this. This herb is called Gotu Kola it's an herb for burns. Now go." The two cyborg kids went to look for the plants and used their cyborg eye to look for the specific herb. "I found them Ryz." Said Zel. "Be careful Zel. Don't hurt yourself." "I won't." Zel was picking come herbs when she saw something. "Huh? What is that?" Zel watched her brother and saw he was distracted so she went over to see what it was that she saw. She ran over and saw she was on a cliff.
Ryz looked around and didn't see Zel. "Zel? Zel! Where are you?! Zel. Zel!" "Ahh" Zel screamed. "Oh no." Ryz and old lady Ada hurried over to the cliff and saw Zel hanging on for dear life. She used her metal arm to hold on. "Brother! Help me!" "Hang on. I have an Idea." "Brother if your thinking about what I know you are going to do don't! you know its dangerous. Master told you not too." "I know but this is emergency Zel!" "I'm sorry brother I can't let you. I'm sorry. I love you." Then she let go and was falling. "Noooo Zel!" She passed out as she was falling.
Someone who lived down there heard a scream. They went out and saw a young girl falling. They jumped up and caught the girl and took her to their cave. "Zel? Is that really you?"
"Old lady Ada! Why aren't you worried?" "Your sister will be fine. Don't worry about it." "What do you mean?" "There is someone who is like Kiran living down there. He is half human and half demon as well. He won't hurt her. He may look fierce but he is a sweet heart." "I hope so." "Come on. Lets finish picking the herbs and go back." Once they got back Ryz said, "You know. Your not as bad as Kiran said you were. You seem to be a pretty nice for an old lady." "Oh is that so. Thank you young man. What exactly did Kiran say about me?" "Well every time your name is mentioned he gets the shivers and said to listen to you because you are pretty scary sometimes." "Hehe. Is that so? Well I can be to some people I guess. If they don't listen I have to be strict. If someone tries to hurt people I care about of course I get pretty scary."
"Hmm. Ha….Ha…Where am I? I though I fell. I should be dead or damaged. Ow." She had just woken up then she heard footsteps. She closed her eyes to pretend she was asleep just in case. She pretended to have a nightmare. "argh. Ha…Ha.." "Zel? Are you ok? Zel. Zel!" Then she really fell asleep until she heard a voice. "Zel it will be ok. You need to wake up. An old friend is helping you right now worried about you. I'm sorry I couldn't be alive for longer. I love you." "Mom. I'm so scared. What do I do?" "You will be fine. You have friends now who can help you get through life. Listen to them. Don't cause them trouble. Tell your brother I love him as well. Take care." Said Zel's mom. "Zel. Zel. Please don't die on me. "I almost did. Luckily I just had a few scratches and soot on me." "Oh Kane I missed you so much." She grabbed him and hugged him. He was shocked at first then hugged her back. "I missed you too Zel. Zel I have to take you back to old lady Ada ok? I'm sure Ryz. Is worried about you." "Before we do why do you live down here?" "Yeah well I ran away after I was saved. Then I woke up at old lady Ada's place. After that I told her that I couldn't stay here. I asked her if there was a place I could stay. She told me if I wanted to be secluded from people then a ways down from a cliff there was a cave. I decided to stay here." "We are supposed to stay here for a month. We have a man named Kiran that is the same as you taking care of us. He checks up on us once a week." "Oh well then maybe I should stay with old lady Ada for awhile and meet this Kiran you said. Get on my back Zel." "Wait Kane. I am not fully human I will be heavy." "Don't worry about it. I'm stronger than I was." She hopped on then headed back to Ada's place.
They got up to the surface and Kane squinted since its been awhile since he has been on the surface. "Ok Ada's is close by. Hang on ok?" "Yeah thanks Kane." She held onto his shoulders and he jumped all the way back to Ada's house.
Kane put Zel down. Ada was out doing some chores and saw Zel. "Ryz. Get out here!" "Yes maam." Ryz came out and was shocked. "Zel! Your ok!" He ran over and hugged her. "Easy now. She just woke up from passing out. She needs rest." Said Kane. "Kane? Is it really you?" "Yeah its me. Ryz." Ryz went over and punched him in the stomach. "Ow What was that for?" "You should know. We thought you were dead idiot! Don't scare us like that." "Sorry I'm fine now. Its ok Ryz." Kane pulled Ryz over and hugged him. Ryz hugged him back. "Ok now kids. Zel go get some rest. Ryz continue what you were doing." "Yes Ada."
"So Kane. Have you decided to stay with me or one of the other villagers yet?" "I've been thinking about it since Zel came back. I know they are only staying for a time but it got me thinking. I could end up helping people here if needed. Back in my old village I had some medical training." "Oh is that so. Well then follow me. Kids come with me." "Yes Ada." They said in unison. So they all followed Ada to a wounded man. "We have been having trouble finding out what happened to him. Can you find out what caused his wound?" said Ada. "I would have to check his wound first so see if I can identify it." Said Kane. "Do as this man says. He also can help." "Yes old lady Ada." "I need to see his wound." "Yes sir." Ryz got his eye ready. They took the bandage off like they were told. "He was burned pretty bad. So the question would be do I know what caused this burn right?" "I can't be certain but it looks like he fell into a poisonous herb. The wounds look like burns. Ryz can your eye tell what burn this is?" "Let me see." "His eye scanned the wound then blinked green saying it was identified. "Just as I thought." Said Ryz. "It wasn't from the plant. Although it looks similar so people mistake it. Go ahead and wrap the wound up." "Kane. Remember what happened to your brother when he was burned? It's the same thing. Some how he was hurt without knowing. Was anyone with him when he was hurt?" "I-I was. I am his brother." "Good. Did he mention anything about getting a scratch when you were out?" "I asked him if he was ok because he felt like it was just a scratch." "I see that confirms it. Where exactly were you when you were scratched were there animals nearby?" "There were strange animals we have never seen before. I think he might have gotten scratched by one. My sister and I are the only ones who can help that we know of. Our blood is special." "Do what you have to please." "Ok then. Lets see the wound once more." They undid the bandage and I bled into the wound and the burn was healing. "OK he should be fine in 2 days." "Thank you. What is your name young man." "My name is Ryz. I will be here for a month. Come to Ada's house if you need help." So they went back and Ryz was feeling funny.
