The villager who had witnessed the incident couldn't believe his eyes and was too terrified that he had began stammering as he was about to tell the villagers what he had seen.
After he had calmed down a little, he told the villagers that he saw Albel mercilessly ripping the dead chicken's feathers and was staring at him with eyes filled with vengeance, when he was caught looking at her. The villagers after listening to this said that they had tolerated enough of her obnoxiously horrendous shenanigans and unanimously decided to call Anagha to the next village meeting.
The meeting was being conducted under the old banyan tree where the villagers gathered below it's big and magnificent branches which offered shade to more people as it's branches grew over the years. The meeting was conducted in the centre of the village so that people living anywhere had to walk approximately same distance. The people sat down in the shade of the tree after leaving some space in the middle so that the village head could walk through the crowd and sit on the slab built around the tree.
The village head, Haqikah had just arrived then as the villagers were speaking among themselves as to what the verdict of today's meeting will be. The whole crowd went silent as they saw Haqikah coming through the seated crowd to occupy her seat on the slab. With her, were two men who accompanied her all the time as she was an old woman who had to be taken care of. The two had occupied the place on either of her sides and as she sat, Anagha had arrived just then.
