That night, they were having dinner together. Lilian was still surprised to see Brent in her house at that time. She started to get suspicious seeing him suddenly come to her house. In fact, this is not the first time he has come here but it seems so frequently.
She didn't know about they will have dinner together and she wondered why her dad like him so much. Whatever she thinking right now, she was confused. She thought that she can avoid him for the whole day but it turns out that she really can't avoid him at all.
Brent and her dad were talking with each other lively and she just ate quietly beside them there. She wants to join in their conversation but it seem like their topic were different from what she know.
Lilian secretly takes a glance at Brent. Indeed, she literally can't take her eyes from him. Even though she said that she doesn't want to meet him, but if can she want to meet him every day. She sitting there while giggling herself.
All of a sudden...!
''Aaahhh!'' She screamed out.
''Dear, what happens??'' Her dad was shocked and asked her worriedly. Brent was shocked too. He looked at her while furrowing his brows.
Lilian cannot answer them and she hurriedly runs toward the kitchen. She headed toward the sink and quickly wash her mouth. She screamed out when washing her mouth.
''Lilian, what happened to you? Are you okay?'' Her dad asks her worriedly. He gently rubs her back.
''Yeah-Uhm, I'm okay, dad. It's just...I-I accidentally eat that spicy chilli.'' She said while opening the fridge and taking out some ice cubes inside. She immediately put the ice inside her mouth and tried to soothe the spiciness.
''Why do you eat that? Don't you know that you can't eat that?''
''Dad! I said I was accidentally eating that because...! Uhm...because...I-I didnt realize it!''
''What?? Don't tell me that you didn't know how the chilli looks like. I even put it separately, you know?''
''Dad, please! If you just want to lecture me rather than help me to get rid of this spiciness, you better go away from me.'' She feels angry and makes a pout face toward her dad.
Looking at her long face like that, her dad was burst into laughter. He know that she was sulking. He thinks that this is the first time he saw Lilian didn't even realize what she eating. He suddenly remembers his wife, Lilian mom.
''Dad! This is not funny! My mouth feels numb right now.''
''Okay-okay. I'm sorry. Here, take this water and drink it. If you still feel spicy, just eat the honey there. I used to make this for your mom before.'' He put some honey into her water and give it to her.
He continue said, ''If you want to know, your mom once have the same incident as you before. She also had accidentally eaten the chilli while we eat together before. Do you want to know the reason why she accidentally eats that?''
''Why??'' Lilian suddenly feel curious about her dad and mom story.
Her dad chuckled and replied, ''She was deeply in love with me before until she can't even take her eyes from me when we were together.''
''What?? Dad! Are you serious?? I mean...you must be kidding right?'' Lilian literally shocked after hearing that from her dad. It was because she realized too that she was doing the same as her mom before. She indeed stared deeply into Brent earlier.
All of a sudden, Brent was appear in the kitchen too. He looks at both of them with confusion. His eyes then were fixed at Lilian who is holding some ice cube in her hands.
''Is everything okay?'' Brent asks in wondering.
''It's okay, Brent. It's nothing serious. She just makes a little mistake.'' Mr Blake said and chuckled.
''Dad!!''
''Okay-okay. I'm done. After you finished doing it, just come out here and continue your meals.''
''Brent, you too.'' He added. He walks away from the kitchen and headed to the dining table.
Brent slowly approach Lilian closer and he stood in front of her and gazes into her for a second. Lilian quickly covers her mouth with both of her hands. She doesn't want him to see her face right now. She really feels embarrassed to look at him.
Lilian lowers her head a little and she feels nervous when he came closer to her. When Brent ask about her condition, she just said that she was fine and she tried to get away from there quickly.
But, Brent immediately grabs her hands. She gasping. Her heart fluttered again and again. ''Follow me.'' He said in a serious voice.
Lilian tried to let go of her hands but he was holding her hand tightly. She is afraid that her dad will see them were holding hands if they were going out together like that.
''Senior...Uhm, can you please let go of my hands?''
Brent didn't listen to her and he still held her hands until they meet with her dad there. After that, Brent politely ask permission from Lilian dad that he wanted to bring Lilian to come out for a while.
She totally surprised when Brent bravely ask permission from her dad. Besides that, more surprising is, her dad was easily agreed and he didn't even care about that. She is really confused right now because her dad calmly show his face.
''Dad...I...!''
''It's okay. You may go. I feel at ease when you go out with Brent.''
''What?? Dad, but...!''
''Brent, please send her back safely later.'' Mr Blake said to Brent and he nods his head.
Looking at both of them like that, Lilian can't believe that Brent and her dad are like a comrade that mutually entrust each other to take care of her. Before this, she feels suspicious of Brent and now, her dad becomes suspicious too. She knows that her dad will not easily let her go out with someone stranger except he is someone that he really trusts.

Later on, Lilian and Brent were in the convenience store near their neighbourhood. Upon arrival, Brent immediately goes into the shop and he was buying something inside.
Lilian just quietly waiting for him outside the store. She was curious about what he doing and she didn't know why he bring her outside at this time. Did he want to talk to me about something? Or about earlier? She thought.
After a few minutes, Brent appear. He was holding something inside the plastic bag. ''Here, drink this.'' He handed out the milk to her.
''Why do you give me this? I don't like milk. I prefer chocolate.''
''Just drink it.''
''No. I don't want.''
''If you dont want to drink this, I will not let you eat these ice creams.''
''Ice creams!!'' She shouts happily.
''So? What is your choice?''
Lilian makes an angry sighing. She gives a sharp glare at him and grabs the milk in his hand. He smirked when she finally obey his words.
''Why do you ask me to drink this milk? I'm not a kid to drink milk.''
''It's because I want to soothe you.''
''Huh??''
''I mean, it to soothe your lips and your stomach from the spicy you eat earlier.''
''Oh, I see. Thank you. But! It will be better if I eat that ice cream.''
''Finished that milk first.''
Lilian once again makes an angry glaring toward him. She thought that she can trick him but he more know it better. She quickly drink the milk until finished and after done, she shook the empty box of milk to show it was finished.
She slowly pokes his shoulders and asks him to give the ice creams. Then, he gives all the ice cream he buys just now to her. She was excited to see many of that and she take out the chocolate flavour and eat it happily.
Without realizing it, Brent grinned beside her. His heart feels at ease and more calmly when she sees her smile happily. At that moment, Brent's eyes were changed into blue light colour.
In fact, the reason why Brent's eyes were changing into the blue light colour whenever he was with Lilian is that it was the symbol of the meaning of his true feelings. Monster eyes will be changing into blue light colour when they are together with someone that they love.
''Lilian...''
''Mmm...'' She answers while eating her ice cream.
''Is there something that you wanna ask me? Or something that you are curious about?''
Lilian suddenly stop eating her ice cream when she heard him asking about that. She was startled. She didn't know how to answer him but she really have many things that she wanna ask him and also about yesterday.
''Or...do you wanna ask about yesterday? If you want to know, I can tell you everything but I dont think that you will believe it and...!''
''No. I don't want to. Even though my heart keeps eager want to know about it...but I am still not ready yet to know about that. I-I'm afraid that...it was something that makes me...lost...lost you.''
''I mean...err...I don't want that things will make us part away from each other. I mean is...I know that you will be graduating soon and we only have one year and a half to be together. Together...as colleagues!'' She said it all and slowly sighed.
Brent suddenly feels speechless after listening to her words. He is still confused about what she saying but he understands that she tried to hide her feeling and her emotions too. He decides to tell her everything but...he still didn't know how to tell her.
He didn't know if he can take that thing from her in a rough way or in different ways. Whenever he saw her innocent face, her genuine feeling and also her sincerity, he don't want to hurt her. He decides to think the other ways to take those things from her and at the same time, he wants to protect her at all cost.
''Senior? Senior??''
''Huh?''
''Why are you staring at me like that? Are you okay? Uhm, I'm sorry if I said something weird like that, actually...I...!''
''No. No. I understand. I know what you really mean. Lilian, let use this one year and a half to make good memories. Let me protect you...''
''Err-um...yeah. Let's make good memories between us. But...why you need to protect me?''
''Just let me know if you need something in the future and let me be the first person to find you if anything happens to you. You must promise to me that you will call me whenever something bad happens to you, okay?''
Lilian feel a little strange when he said about that but, she just ignore it and slowly nods her head. She grinning. She feels happy because she slowly can feel that even a little, Brent feeling has the same as her.
''Lilian, can I say one more thing?''
''What is it?''
''Please be careful about what you eat for the next time.''
''Huh?? What??''
''The first one is the fishbone, and now is chilli. I'm not sure what the next is after this. But, I hope it will be not worst than this.''
''Brent Dawson Franklin!! You!!''
''It really a long time I didn't hear someone call my full name. Luckily...it was you!'' He was surprised for a while. He smirks.
''What?? What do you say?'' She quickly runs toward him that already walk ahead in front of her.
''Quickly, run faster! It's already late.'' He shouted.
''Wait for me! My ice cream is not finished yet.'' She replied while carefully bringing the ice cream with her hands.
