I thought I had my life back; I had an allowance that Khizar had been giving to me for a few weeks. I also had a proper room in his apartment and a wardrobe full of new clothes and accessories. Now I just had to get my way back into work which was proving to be a lot harder than expected. Apparently, everyone gave my recent behaviour an excuse to forget al the handwork I had put into building up my reputation. Not only did anyone want to take me seriously, everybody I had contacted either hung up the phone on me or…mocked me and blocked my number! I tried start a few businesses online but nobody was willing to invest in me at all no matter how much time I put into my projects or how good it was.
Living with Khizar was less than the nightmare I was originally expecting it to be, he actually left me alone for a while. But of course he had a condition to the money he was going me; I ha dot for for it as a damned maid in his home! I almost strangled him right there and then when he told me…but unfortunately he was my only source of life right now and he didn't shy in telling me about it. In fact he lorded it over me and expected me to be grateful as if he was really saving my life right now. I just smiled meekly and accepted it; if this was how far I had to go to meet Ashar again even once then I would't mind going that far to prove my undying love for him. Ashar himself even told me that if I did a good job around his home then not only would he put in a few words about me to some of his new contacts, but he would also invite his new best friend Khiard and Ashar aroud for dinner. Just the thought of us being in the same room again and me having the chance to clear up any misunderstandings there were between us. Yes…after everything that happened I was still hopelessly in love with Ashar. In fact, the only thing that was made clear to me was the hold that Khirad had on everybody around her, it was as if she was some kind witch who seduced men with her innocence. It was her I needed to expose, it was clear as day that she had the nerve to run around to make him chase her in front of me at my own wedding! I needed to show everyone who this bitch really was and make her go back from the shitty little poor place she had crawled from after her dead mother.
