Mars held his red cheeks from being slapped by his mother this morning after breakfast. He had to go to school with a scar of a beaten face that hadn't healed yet. Dropped by his car, with a stern look without a smile, he walked through the schoolyard.
Some children just stared, whispered, and laughed at him. He had no friends and always seemed alone. He was always escorted by one of the old drivers. His name was Joseph Davids. Mars called Joe, who had become Mars's loyal driver wherever when he was a child.
Today the first lesson was science, a lesson that Mars was mastered well. Mars King was the son of a well-known businessman Geovanni King. He attended one of Seattle's most famous elementary schools.
