Escorted by Joe, Mars finally visited his old teacher in the Seattle police prison. He was wondering how Ms. Sheldon could get involved in crimes. She was a friendly, moderate teacher that impossible to do bad things.
By looking down, miss Sheldon could only cry and claimed never to do as alleged. Mars was sure someone set her up, but no one believed her. All the profs were against her. Therefore, Mars was increasingly unsure if he wanted to be a good boy. His teacher, who was as good as miss Sheldon must suffer because of her kindness.
His desire to trust others and make friends also was tumbling down after he accidentally overheard the conversation of the girl who had taken him home with his girlfriends
