Chapter 30 - Make Love

Marga's P.O.V

"Marga, how are you? I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say! I promise I'm not going to spread it" She responded hurriedly.

I'm still dubious. Despite my embarrassment, I don't want Jenica to be bored for the rest of her life, so I'll say it.

"It appears that nothing is happening between the two of us," I spoke quickly.

Her mouth dropped open. I couldn't bear looking her in the eyes. It's far too dishonorable. Argh.

"Oh, yes. Marga, I got what you were saying "She remarked sarcastically.

She palmed her face and locked her gaze on me. He drank tea, and I took a deep breath before speaking again.

'Jenica...' I took a serious look at her as she fixed her gaze on me and her sitting position.

Waiting for me to say exactly what I said.

"Is it normal that... nothing has happened between us yet?"

My response was composed and direct.

She was taken aback by the tea and looked at me with wide eyes.

"What did you say?" she coughed, puzzled, and looked at me in disbelief.

I quickly averted my gaze, embarrassed by the truth. Gosh! I can't believe I'm saying this to her!

"We weren't going to do it. I'm talking about m-making love." When I said it, my cheeks almost warmed up.

I'm not sure why it just came out of my mouth, but it's gone, and I've already told Jenica about it.

She appears to be trustworthy. If I hadn't told Kissiah, they might have pounced in front of me earlier, bombarding me with questions.

"What? Why?" she asked, frowning, before returning the cup to the saucer and smiling at me.

"U-uh... just because," I responded.

I was too shy to speak up and didn't know what to say.

"What if it's just because? Marga, it's not normal for me "while she couldn't bring herself to answer my question

"Unless, of course, you want to enjoy your marriage first and then have children when you're ready. Is it possible that work is also a top priority for you? Am I correct?" I bit my lower lip in response to what she said.

I'm hoping that's the case.

She raised an eyebrow and shook her head as I shrugged.

She tsked. "How many days have you been married and you aren't still blessing?" she inquired.

What she said made me cringe.

"U-Uhm… What do you mean, wetting?" I inquire once more.

She cleared her throat, rolled her eyes, and nodded once.

"What do you mean, sex? Intercourse? Like you two have the desire—"

"N-No!" I'm almost oblivious to what Jena is saying.

When she mentioned sex,' I felt awkward. It's as if I'm not at ease talking about it, particularly about myself.

I let out a sigh. I nodded in agreement that she was correct.

"Marga, what's the matter? Why is this so? "she insisted.

Okay. That was a huge overreaction.

"J-Just because," says the narrator. I don't have a clear response yet.

Okay. I'm just trying to keep my nerves at bay, okay? I'm trying to prepare myself for the time when I'll tell her about my situation.

I'm afraid I can't tell you why.

"What is it? Is that what bothers you? It's simple! It's simple, and you're married, so why do you appear to be struggling?" In response, he laughed.

I let out a sigh and shook my head.

"You don't get it, Jenica." I let out a long sigh.

"Why, you ask?" What's the point of nothing happening to you? Are you prepared yet? "Perhaps you're not flirting with your husband, so how can something bad happen to you if you're embarrassed?" he promised.

First, I sniffed to calm myself down. "How about we... you know what I mean? We're not... we don't always sleep next to one another." I bit my lower lip and turned away from her.

I'm embarrassed to respond. Her eyes widened as if she were watching a horror film!

I almost pinched my own finger and knelt. I was unable to face Jena. I feel like I'm the student who can't properly answer the recitation because I don't know what to say, and Jena is the terrified, intimidating teacher who is asking.

"B-but why?" she inquired, surprised.

Okay. I can't blame her; who wouldn't be taken aback? Is there a couple who can't sleep together? I believe there is... but not for us.

"Aren't you getting married?! Don't tell me you're still embarrassed and getting married again. Which type of couple are you?" She couldn't believe she had inquired.

After all, if others believe it, it appears unbelievable. They are unaware of the true e. We appear to be real, but we are not.

"The truth is ... w-we're not close to doing that thing." my confession.

His brow furrowed even more. Maybe Jena thinks it's strange that she doesn't understand me because I'm in trouble.

"What are we not close to? 'Are you serious?' Isn't that why you're married? You're both prepared. Isn't it true that you already knew each other prior to marriage, but why don't you seem to get used to it? And you're still embarrassed? Marga, are you serious? Is it true that you just happened to meet someone and got married right away?"

"Not at all..." I bit the inside of my lower lip. I'm having difficulty confessing.

What else could you do after I told Klark's children about the situation? What about my parents? Worse and more difficult here.

"What? I'm not sure what you're talking about." Based on her expression, it appeared that any mind still had a big question mark in her mind when she puffed it out.

I bit the inside of my lower lip. It's kind of amusing to think of it that way. We weren't particularly close, but we both married. Isn't it amusing?

"I-I mean, we just got married because we wanted to die."

After that, I bit my lower lip.

I took a look up at the sky.

'If you can hear me, or if you're standing next to me, Shaina, please don't make me afraid. Don't do anything that might cause me to pass out or scream because you're upset that I'm telling someone about this. Don't make me see you in your white gown and paled face, staring at me with a death glare.'

It's even scarier when Shaina's eyes glaze over with emotion.

I'm afraid I'll get goosebumps and have a heart attack. I swear to you! Even if you're having a dream, don't wake me up because if you suddenly feel and appear, I'll be sorry because I revealed our secret.

I sighed. Heaven bless you Shaina.

"Oh my goodness! Really? I'm scared to death!" At the same time, he is holding her arm and she is looking around as if she is scared.

I took a deep breath and swallowed hard.

"I'm aware that it's impossible. But now I'm here..." I shook my head.

"We got married because we both promised Ate Shaina before she died."

"Seriously?" She couldn't believe it, and almost without blinking, I nodded seriously at her.

"Why... why do you both agree?" she asked curiously.

Why are we doing that sinful thing, can it be heard in the voice?

I bit the inside of my lower lip.

"Because... It's difficult to refuse someone who is dying, Jenica. Shaina was about to die at the time, so we talked to her until she took her last breath. We can't help you if you're forced to ask for something nearby to die; it's difficult to say no."

Because I was able to tell her this, I bit my lip so hard.

Jenica simply frowned.

"You're right. It's difficult to say no to that. So, why did she request it?"

My lips twitched in response to her question. I'm not sure why Shaina chose me over her husband in the face of so many other women.

"Because... w-we're the only ones she believes in."

"What..." she asked, still perplexed.

Because there is a deep and genuine reason. Even though I hadn't told him everything, I could tell he was intrigued.

"Would you mind telling me the entire story so I can understand? If you don't mind..."

I sighed deeply, and he fixed his gaze on me, waiting for my story.

"We don't have a genuine relationship with Klark." I could see the surprise on his face.

I sighed and smiled weakly at her.

"Before we get married, we both know Klark has a first wife, Shaina."

I averted my gaze from Jenica.

Jenica, on the other hand, appears to comprehend why we married.

"I-I'm not the mother of Zeus and Rius, just so you know. That is the family of Shaina and Klark." I began, despite the fact that she was attentively listening to me.

"How did you two tie the knot?" I thought that would suffice for him.

She didn't seem to understand why I was entangled in their lives.

"As you know, Shaina is my best friend," Jenica says. At the same time, I smiled; she was an 'o'.

"I met her when I was a first-year college student while she was graduating; we attend the same university, same dormitory, and same course, which is why we became close friends, though aside from being dorm mates, I must say that she's the only one person who always initiates me. Seriously, I'm not a talkative person, I'm not sociable and friendly.

I recall the time when Shaina and I didn't know each other until we were referred to as best friends or sisters.
