Marga's P.O.V
We drove three hours to get home, and I checked my phone to see what time it was. It's already ten o'clock at night. We were late because of traffic, and we arrived late at the venue.
During our driver, my body hurt, especially my seat. Rius and Zeus are also sleepy and appear tired. Only Klark didn't appear tired, and he was the one who drove.
When the car came to a stop and the door opened, I lifted Zeus, who was sleeping on my shoulder, opened the gate first before we could enter, and we walked towards the front door, which was the size of a two-story house.
The design of the house appears luxurious, with the color paired beautifully because it is simple and unobtrusive to the eye. The colors used are chocolate brown, black, and white, with stone bricks used on all of the house's pillars. Because the home base is cream-colored with a modern and classic blend, the overall color is not too dark.
The windows are paved, and there are glass sliding doors at the front of the house, as well as a balcony. The arrangement of plants and Bermuda grass can be seen in this area. That the plants are clearly well-made and pleasing to the eye. There are also tall trees on the side of the house as an extra beautiful design throughout the house, which is another reason to look at the beautiful gardens.
I couldn't stop thinking about the former maid.
"Can you tell me if Eva is here?" I asked Klark as we walked across the big door, both of us preoccupied with the luggage I knew I had.
As he lowered the luggage, its nerve in the arm and muscles tightened as he took a deep breath, I couldn't help but be bitten on the lower lip.
Oh, no. We were living under the same roof as his sons. What might happen?
When he turned to face me, I noticed that your gaze was fixed on his fictitious sleeping son. He stroked Zeus' brow.
"Sleepy kiddo," he chuckled as he lifted his lip and looked at me.
"She's supposed to be here right now. I haven't heard from Eva in a while; perhaps she's still on vacation in the province."
"Perhaps he's in an emergency, or he's with his family?"
He agreed with a nod.
"I'm hoping not. We will have a hard time, especially since I still have a job. Eva has been a part of our family since Shaina and I married. She has also returned to the province since Rius and I moved into my condo in Manila.
I nodded slowly. "Oh, I see. "I'm hoping Eva will be able to return soon."
He even appears to be more familiar with Eva than I am. I just sighed to clear my mind and focused my attention on him as I opened the door and entered the luggage with the assistance of his eldest son Rius, who was silently typing on the phone.
When the door opened, Rius was the first to enter; he also appeared drowsy because I heard him yawning and stretching his body.
Zeus, on the other hand, is still lifting me up and deep in sleep because he is snoozing on my shoulder. Klark seemed to notice the child, so he took the child from me and lifted it.
"Thank you," he said, his lips slowly forming a smile and giving me a nod.
"Marga, I'll take Zeus to his room. You know you should rest, and I know you're tired." I simply nodded, and he was correct; my eyelids were becoming heavier.
I just shrugged my shoulders and stretched and massaged my neck a little because I had been sitting for a while and felt stiff-necked from the flight and earlier lifting Zeus. I was taken aback when I noticed he was still staring at me while Klark was carrying Zeus.
"What?" I exclaimed as I noticed Klark staring at me.
He simply cleared his throat and gulped while his Adam's apple protruded.
"N-Nothing..." he said as he averted his gaze.
"Oh," was all I could say.
I heard him sigh heavily. "So, hello and welcome to our home,"
I immediately saw the inside of the house, it's so classic. The interior is fully furnished and the furniture inside is beautiful. Obviously, they also squandered a lot of money here. And I didn't know that he built a new house, I only found out when we decided to get married and he said he built a new one without me even realizing it.
It looks… really planned.
I was thinking ... what if I didn't agree?
I just think that I didn't agree that all the plans, he spent and wasted money and time were just wasted for nothing. If he had told me the plan, I would not have agreed to do something new, but I knew he would still insist. I'm always really amazed at what he does.
We were still in the living room, which had a sofa set and carpeted floor, as well as a large flat-screen television and other expensive figurines and beautiful paintings.
You can see the stairs to the second floor, the doors, and how it is divided into four sections. At first, I thought there was almost nothing inside, but then I realized there was, and it was fully furnished.
When did he begin planning and carrying it out? The size, and I know it was built a long time ago!
Oh my... This house is stunning, and I can't stop staring at it.
There is also a door at the bottom, which I assume is for the guest room. On the left, you can see the trellis blocking where there are wide areas for dining and kitchen; it appears that the kitchen is still separate and has a mini-bar and kitchen nook.
When Rius spoke, I was immediately distracted.
"I'm going to bed, Dad..." Rius was on the sofa, looking at us, depressed, and yawning, and he appeared to be on the verge of drowsiness.
"Okay, it's even better if you and your brother go to bed... don't stay up," Klark said as he drew the suitcase.
Rius simply nodded.
"But are you guys hungry? If you're hungry, I'll just deliver our food," he inquired.
Rius let out a sigh. "Just wake me up when the food arrives; I'm so tired and sleepy," Rius yawned once more.
As fathers, they are strikingly similar.
"All right, your room upstairs is right next to your brother's room; look, you know your room, and you asked me to design it."
Oh, I'm curious what Rius is so passionate about. Could he follow in the footsteps of his father, who aspired to be an architect?
I noticed Zeus waking up a little on his shoulder, and Zeus lowered his father so that I could concentrate on them.
Zeus called out in a sleepy voice, "Papa..."
It appears that our voice has disturbed him while he is deep asleep.
"Yes, kiddo?" he asked, caressing its brow.
I noticed Zeus was still yawning and appeared drowsy before abruptly waking up, possibly because he felt he was being lifted.
"Can you tell me where my room is?" While rubbing his eyes with his adorable tiny fingers.
"You should go upstairs, kiddo. Right next to your brother."
Zeus nodded and yawned.
"Okay, then. Is my room already set up, Papa? Where's my toys?"
He's so adorable.
I feel like I want to kiss this boy's entire face. He narrowed his eyes slightly again, and the child smiled at me at the same time.
"Your toys are already in order, kiddo."
"Yes! Thank you very much!" Zeus turned to me and hugged me after the boy replied excitedly.
"Auntiemommy! Auntiemommy! Come on! Let's go to my room! I've got a lot of toys in there! Let's have some fun!"
"Oh, baby boy," I exclaimed.
I immediately smiled, knelt down to match him, stroked his cheek, and kissed him on the forehead.
I would have said more if Klark and I had been ahead of me again.
"It's already late, Zeus. You can play with your mother the next day. She's tired."
My heart pounded as I was taken aback by what I heard.
God... Why do I tremble when he tells his kids to call me "Mom"?
I bit my lower lip to keep a smile from forming in response to what I had just heard.
Zeus immediately nodded as he looked at his father and at me at the same time; I expected him to be stubborn, but he later nodded in agreement as well.
"Your Dad is right. It's also late, baby boy. You must sleep and rest so that we can play tomorrow. Is that correct?"
I agreed as I kissed his cheek and caressed his forehead.
The boy's face instantly lit up, and he smiled so I could see both of Zeus' dimples again. That's why I can't stop myself from squeezing it with both hands.
"Fine! Tomorrow!" he exclaimed, laughing.
He replied with a smile and dashed up the stairs.
"Where are you going?" I inquired, hoping to follow run.
"I want to change my clothes, Mommy!" exclaimed the boy as he climbed.
"Wait a minute! I can help you!" I was about to leave when Klark abruptly stopped me.
"Just let him," Klark said as he came to a halt. I scowled.
"How come?"
His lips twitched just a little. "They are already capable of looking after themselves. Let's go upstairs and I'll show you to your room."
I was trampled for a while.
What exactly is he on about? He means, my room?
I had no idea we'd have our own room. I was still contemplating... I assumed we were a together. I just... I just thought... urgh.
Okay, dang!
