Marga's P.O.V
"Oh my goodness, Marga! Your husband is very attractive! Why did you keep it a secret from us?" Janel was looking at the men gathered at the other table as she praised one of my coworker friends. I sat next to them at the table, and we sat in a circle.
They, too, are drinkers, with the exception of me, who only drinks juice and water. You're such a good girl self, aren't you?
I just smiled; even my friend Klark attracts a lot of attention. Although I still can't believe he's my husband and I'm used to hearing a lot of people praising him, there's no denying that Klark continues to attract a lot of people.
"His friends are also attractive! I like the man with the narrow eyes who is with them! Who is he?" Kissiah also responded at the same time.
While I'm just sitting here eating cake.
"Oh, that's Bartolome, an Architect as well. He and Klark used to be in the same class, though. They used to be classmates." I simply shrugged.
Because I've known Klark for a long time, I've also grown close to his friends because of Shaina. Shaina is friendly, which is why I became contagious. Because of her, I know a lot of people, and when Shaina hangs out with them and brings me along, it's a little awkward for me because they know who I am, and I'm not sure what they think that I married their friend. Do they have any knowledge of Klark and my secret?
They never asked why we got along every time. Perhaps Klark has already told them about it.
I simply sighed. What exactly are they thinking?
"To be fair, aside from his handsomeness, your husband has a good body! I'm sure you'll be sick of him by the end of the night- "Kissiah expressed a lustful thought.
"K-Kissiah!" says the narrator. Because of the strength of her voice, my lips parted. Simply laugh it off.
I blushed immediately, even though one of my crazy friends hadn't finished what he was saying, and I wasn't a fool to not understand what Kissiahs was saying. It's only that... What's the big deal? We're not going on a honeymoon! That is not our intention!
"You insane people! Stop talking and be ashamed of our bride's friend. And are you serious? You're still here, flirting and thinking obscene thoughts. Then don't pollute our virgin friend's mind." Tin responded, but I'm sure she's just teasing me as well.
As they laughed at me, I rolled my eyes.
Tin. She's one of my more sensible friends; out of the four of us, she's the most serious, and she's had a boyfriend since high school. And, as usual, I was the maid of honor at her wedding. And because they are still single, Janel and Kissiah are on the same journey when it comes to men.
"It's okay Tin. Aren't you used to those two yet?" I just laughed at their joke at the same time.
"It's okay Tin. Aren't you used to those two yet?" I just laughed at their joke at the same time.
"We thought that you would be late for the wedding of the three of us because you do not accept a lover or boyfriend."-Jane
"Yes, but we didn't expect you to be the first!"-Kissiah
"Oh my god! I can't imagine!" it even growled as if it had its worldliness in their mind.
I just shook my head of them.
Tin was laughing at the craziness that the two were saying, and it was a good thing that no one heard much of what they were saying because we were the only ones here, far away from the other guests. However, Klark's friends immediately turned in our direction due to the loud laughter, which was one of the two reasons that Klark turned around as well.
"Lower your voice guys, it's embarrassing for the guests to hear you with the nonsense you're saying," I whispered rebuking them. They just laughed.
"I don't know if I'm jealous, it's like I want to get married like you," Janel said while sipped the wine she was holding.
"I'm the same way! You have the ideal husband, and you have a future with him. I'm envious!" Kissiah concurs with Janel.
"Perhaps you'll recommend Villaverde to me as well? Is he related to anyone?" I laughed at Janel's flirtatious question.
"Isn't that right, brother? It's finally time for us to be sisters! If she has a brother, I'm going to stab her. They're quite attractive!" Kissiah laughed. These guys are a lot of fun to talk to.
"Oh my dear friend, I'm sorry to say that Klark doesn't have a brother, only a sister, so you'd be better off finding someone else to flirt with and make a boyfriend," I responded with a laugh.
"In your wet dreams with you two," it bursts out laughing.
"You're thirsty for men; don't rush; the right one will find you." Tin simply stated that he was drinking wine at the same time. "Like Marga, she found her true love voluntarily, and now she's married!"
I just gave them a small smile because I could tell they were overjoyed for me. I took a breath and swallowed. As I listened to them, I just sighed. If only they had known. I can't really talk about my life with my friends.
"What are your plans? Marga, are you going back to work?" Kissiah inquired.
I averted my gaze by biting my lower lip. They appear to be very interested in me.
"Yeah ... I need to focus on my f-family." I just shrugged at the same time.
"Seriously? Does that mean you're always at home then? You used to be a housewife! Boring!"
"Don't be Janel, that means they'll focus on having a baby. That's why it's a family, isn't it? Duh! That's not boring it; it's exciting!" Kissiah explained at the same time to Janel.
I can't stop them from saying without restraint. The more they speak, the more inevitably some people here will look away from us. Geez.
"Don't worry, Marga, Sir Sam said, even if you've resigned, you can still come back to work whenever you want. Finding a replacement for you as Finance Adviser will be difficult, and it may be difficult for them as well. However, if they find it, someone will be trained for the new one." Tin and I both turned to face each other.
I gave a nod. I do, however, intend to return to work. I simply don't know when. Maybe... after Klark and I break up and our pretending is done.
"Well, I just wish I could come back if I wanted to." I'll just respond.
"Of course not! That's for sure. Our Boss is dead set on wanting you. He likes you a lot, but you didn't even allow him to woo you before. Now we know the reason, there's someone else you like before." she chuckled.
"Sir Sam will miss you for sure." said Kissiah who responded to the conversation. "And since you've resigned, can I just be with our boss? I kinda like him," she said as if all he was asking for was candy. I chuckled.
"Tsk. Kissiah, when are you going to get serious about your life?" said Tin, looks unbelievable.
"What's the problem, and why shouldn't it be? We're not in a relationship, and we're not looking for one. Then our friend got married, so our boss is out of options for Marga. Kis, can we still share?" Janel responded to Kissiah at the same time, teasingly looking at her.
"You're going to get the man I want, Janel, I'm the first, just flirt with someone else and don't flirt with baby boss Sam." Kissiah's response was firm.
I'll really wait for them to have a serious relationship, because I haven't seen them get serious, and while they do have a boyfriend, it doesn't last. They claimed that they were simply flinging. I let out a sigh. I'm not sure what they're talking about. They are still unwilling to settle down.
"You're putting too much faith in our snobbish boss! You know he doesn't notice you because he irritates you all the time! "She teases Kissiah, causing her eyes to roll.
Tin and I laughed, and Kissiah puffed up and swallowed a large cake.
When it comes to our boss, she reacts differently; it appears that there is something in her eyes in the way she speaks and moves. Is it possible that she has feelings for Sam? If you're serious, that's great. These two of my friends are not only beautiful, but also funny, so they get along well on their trips. Perhaps Boss will simply choose between the two of them.
I mentally slapped myself. I chuckled at what I thought. What I was thinking made me laugh.
Sir Sam is the type of person I can say is extremely nice. It's just that he's frequently strict, but when it comes to working, I recall Sam and Kissiah frequently talking to each other in the office, because Kissiah is frequently annoying our hot-tempered boss. That Sir Sam didn't fire her is a good thing. The rest of our coworkers are simply amazed that no one else does what Kissiah does. I'm just really impressed with her self-assurance.
Now that we are nearing the end of our wedding ceremony, I am gradually realizing that I will be separated from the people I am accustomed to associating with.
