GRrrrrrroooooooowwl
Seeing its prey fleeing from the scene, the Battle Bear agitated from all the beating it took, could no longer hold its anger.
With a deafening growl, its massive body charged towards Simon as it gave chase. At that very instant, wind current enveloped its right claw, shrouding it in a pale green hue. The bear then fiercely swung its claw towards Simon's direction.
Right now, it had activated its skill [Wind Claw].
Simon felt a tingling sensation on his back and without thinking much he hurriedly dived into the corner.
Immediately afterwards, a fierce wind brushed past the place he was at, cleanly bisecting everything on the way. Looking at the devastation, cold drops of sweat rolled down his back. If this thing had hit him, he didn't know what would have happened to his body. No matter what, he cannot let that attack hit him.
Simon turned around and started running again with all of his strength, this time he even threw a little crisscross around the trees.
Like a berserk beast, the battle bear continued to chase him through the forest and not long afterwards, it finally saw its prey halt its steps near a spiral tower.
Simon looked at his back, and after seeing that the battle bear was hot in his pursuit, he taunted with his finger and immediately dived inside his dungeon.
A wide rocky cave lay within, big and small rocks protruded from the ground here and there reducing the visibility somewhat. Before starting his DP grinding, Simon had remodelled the floor and added another floor to his dungeon.
The battle bear came charging inside, looking left and right searching for its prey.
"Haha, I'm over here, over here you stupid bear."
Simon waved his hand from behind a large rock protrusion. This was his territory, and in here the battle bear's movements would be somewhat inhibited. Its tanky frame would get in its way making it easy for him to open a distance.
Wind current started enveloping the right arm of the battle bear again, a clear indication that it was about to use its [Wind Claw] skill. A razor sharp wind came targeting him.
"That [Wind Claw] packs quite a punch. But it is useless if it doesn't hit."
Simon ducked into a corner and effortlessly dodged the skill. Right afterwards, he started casting his own magic.
"Flame Magic Mastery- [Flame spear]."
Flames gathered in large quantities in his hand and shaped themselves into a three-meter-long spear. Scorching heat emanated from the Spear and on his command, it flew towards the battle bear.
Sensing danger through its instincts, the battle bear tried to dodge the attack. But the numerous rocks protruding from everywhere made the environment unsuitable for it to move. It was unable to dodge.
The flame spear squarely hit the bear right into its chest, flames igniting its body. A painful low growl came from its mouth; clearly, it took quite some damage from the attack just now.
The battle bear which previously looked quite mighty now had quite a sorry appearance.
Simon did not stop his attacks, after casting that first flame spear, he got some understanding of how to better handle the flame. He started creating more and more flame spears.
Whoosh... Whoosh... Whoosh... numerous Flame spears started appearing in the air above his head, each of these flame spears was packed with a powerful amount of heat and his newfound understanding of flame magic.
"Flame Magic Mastery- [Flame Spear Barrage]."

[450 DP earned]
Defeating the battle bear earned him 450 DP, although it wasn't much, it was still something. Looking at his total amount of DP which has now increased from its initial amount, he felt like his hard work paid off.
After resting for a while to recover his HP and MP, Simon started his exploration again. Taunting and luring the monsters to his dungeon and repeating the cycle again and again.
In this way, Simon amassed quite some amount of DP and three days quickly passed amidst this never-ending cycle.
Currently, he was sitting on the first floor of his dungeon. The first floor was just below the base floor, which is what he was calling it right now. Anyways, the first floor was a hundred-meter-wide maze. The walls here were quite thick, making brute-forcing your way quite taxing.
The walls also moved and repaired themselves, which made solving it quite difficult. But not impassable, there are many skills that can easily breach through such tactics such as- [Mental Mapping], [Path Finder], [Trap Detection], and more.
"This should be enough to stall the monsters here for quite a while".
He had used around 3000 points to create this winding maze, and another 2000 points to create a third floor.
Right now, the third floor was an empty floor and was made to stop any monster that managed to breach the second floor.
