While the intense battle between the apex ancient primordial beasts happened, it did not escape Ebraham's perception. What's more the whole planet was covered with his Domain, so the fight was clear as day to him.
He intentionally did not interrupt the two apexes. Even after severe devastation occurred on the landscape because of the battle, Ebraham just silently watched the battle.
He wanted to collect information about the Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts. The information he knew about Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts was just too little.
In his previous world, Ancient Dragon was the apex predator of magical beast kingdom and one of the species that possessed the highest value of magical energy. As Ancient Dragon was on the top of food chain, their numbers did not amount more than 10. That was the known number of Ancient Dragon in the whole world.
However, Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts were creatures in Neo Tetarto that possessed even higher value of magical energy than Ancient Dragon.
Since there was no creature stronger than Ancient Dragon in his previous world, Ebraham could not make a comparison on the power exhibited by Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts. He could only categorize them as Beyond-Dragon-Level and used the Ancient Dragon as a benchmark.
Nonetheless, there was a glaring flaw on this way of categorization. Even though Ebraham categorized the Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts as the apexes of ancient primordial beasts, their number were more than 100,000.
Although the more than 100,000 number of Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts was little, compared to the trillions of ancient primordial beasts, it still occupied a sizable portion of upper level of beast pyramid.
Furthermore, among the Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts there was a distinctive difference between their magical energy value. The was a large gap in magical energy value between the lowest and the highest Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts. There was even a large disparity between the first and second highest, which meant that they were not on the same level.
This meant that the flaw of his way of categorization was: it was not accurate. There should be finer tiers among the Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts. But that tier was unknown to Ebraham.
In the actuality, Ebraham was ignorant about most of magical beast. The study of magical beasts was not included in syllabus of Royal Academy and Magical Beast Compendium, the collection of knowledge about magical beasts, were monopolized by the Royals of Krudian Empire.
In addition, the Sage Council lacked a Sage that specialized in the study of magical beast.
The Sage Council and Royal Academy, with their goal of ending the war between empires, had little to do with the measly magical beasts.
Although Ebraham did have some knowledge about magical beasts, his knowledge focussed on how to utilize the magical beasts as material, rather than knowledge of magical beasts when they were alive.
His chance to learn about magical beast was even lower since the supplier of magical beast material was the Royals, and they kept a tight lid on the method of processing the material, especially on high ranking magical beasts.
The reason Ebraham had known more about Ancient Dragon was only because of his mission to harvest some materials from Ancient Dragon. If not, with how secretive the Royals were, he would not even know that Ancient Dragon, a rank higher than normal Dragon, exist.
So, Ebraham needed to start his own study on ancient primordial beasts and create a new Beast Compendium.
Ever since he arrived at this world, Ebraham had recorded a zillion amount of information pertaining ancient primordial beasts alone.
However, he still deemed the information about Beyond-Dragon-Level as inadequate. He still had much to learn.
After seeing the aftermath of the two, Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts, Ebraham was surprised.
The reason that he was surprised was not because of the ancient primordial beast's cleverness of utilizing an external weapon in the battle other than its natural weapon.
He had seen other ancient primordial beasts utilizing tools and weapons before; and that feat was not limited to only Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts.
He was not surprised by the vast metal plate that was uncovered by the ancient primordial beast during their battle, either.
Ebraham knew that there was a large deposit of Orichalcum in this planet and the planet's tectonic plates were even mostly comprised of Orichalcum.
What made Ebraham surprised was the rupture on the Orichalcum plate. The size of the rupture was only 10m wide. Compared to the gigantic size of Armoured Dragon Ankylosaurus, the rupture was very little.
Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beast was a creature that was even stronger than Ancient Dragon. Its gigantic size that was 10 times larger than average Ancient Dragon, was brimmed with physical energy.
In Ebraham's previous world, although Orichalcum was a precious metal that was mainly used to craft high level weapons and armours, the equipment crafted with Orichalcum was not entirely invulnerable to the attacks of Ancient Dragon.
An Orichalcum shield would only last for 10 Ancient Dragon's full-blown attacks before showing a sign of dents and fully deformed after hundreds of attacks. This meant, although Orichalcum was resilient, it was not indestructible.
Despite that, when Armoured Dragon Ankylosaurus, a Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beast, detonated his highly explosive Beast Core, the Orichalcum metal plate had only ruptured a small hole to the size of 10m even after it was impacted by a very close proximity.
This discovery had truly shocked Ebraham.
'It seems like the elements in this world was different from Krudianheim. This needs to be thoroughly experimented' he inwardly thought to himself.
After the death battle between the middle-layer Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts, not only Ebraham collected a significant amount of information on the capabilities of Beyond-Dragon-Level ancient primordial beasts, he also was prompted that the elements in this world might have different properties compared to elements in his previous world, Krudianheim.
He was also reminded that, even though he knew about many things, his knowledge did not even amount to a faction of the vast knowledge of the universe.
While he was thinking so, Ebraham ended the Tyrant Horned Mastodon and collected both ancient primordial beasts' bodies.
…
Previously, on the 2nd of spring Year 0, the fairies had made their appearance in this world.
Although by nature, they should have hide in their concealment area, they had ventured forth into an odyssey, to cross the wide continent, and consequently, exposing themselves to the vicious world.
Although Ebraham had dispatched the ancient primordial beasts that chased after the fairies when he rescued them, the ancient primordial beasts had crossed quite a distance across the continent.
Then, such was the major event that happened in the continents. First, continent-wide fairies traversed the continents to reach the Sky Pillars while avoiding dangerous ancient primordial beasts. Then, the apex predator of ancient primordial beasts chased after the fairies across the continents, ignoring the territories and habitat of other ancient primordial beasts.
Consequently, both East Continent and West Continent had turned chaotic. Since most creature would run away when encountering an absolutely stronger creature, the weaker and the highest number of ancient primordial beasts hastily ran with tail between their legs when they sensed the hegemons of ancient primordial beasts passed by them.
The wave of ancient primordial beasts running away caused a butterfly effect escalating into beast stampedes. The stampedes happened in all places in Northern Hemisphere and moved in all directions. Thus, the stampedes that were near each other merged into bigger stampede moving in a tidal wave. Or even worse collided with each other killing countless number of ancient primordial beasts.
Trailing behind the stampede were carcases of ancient primordial beasts that were stomped to death. Their body littered on the ground and their blood dyed the ground red.
Immeasurable death of ancient primordial beasts was not the only thing that happened.
Although the ancient primordial beasts had run thousands of miles away from their original habitat while constantly changing direction like a headless fly until they were dead tired and could not move anymore, the general direction the stampede was going followed a certain principle which was to move away from the stronger opponent.
So generally, since the fairies travelled towards the Sky Pillars while the hegemons and stronger ancient primordial beasts chased after them, the weaker ancient primordial beasts moved the away from the Sky Pillars.
After the stampede died down, the power distribution of ancient primordial beasts was rearranged in the area surrounding the Sky Pillars. The closer the ancient primordial beasts to the pillar, the stronger they were.
Since there were four Sky Pillars in Northern Hemisphere; two in East Continent and another two in West Continent, the power distribution of ancient primordial beasts was also divided into four.
At each pillar, a few kilometers away circling the barrier was the inner layer, where hegemons of ancient primordial beasts stayed; a few hundred kilometers away from that was the outer layer where stronger ancient primordial beasts roamed; then the remaining spaces on the continents were green territory that was sprawling with the weaker ancient primordial beasts.
This new division became the new geographical boundaries for ancient primordial beasts and stayed so hereafter.
