Arman grew red with anger.
"This old bastard!"
He turned around and walked towards where the supervisor was seated.
As Arman was stomping heavily on the ground, he gathered a lot of attention.
The man raised an eyebrow at this.
Arman stopped when he was right in front of the man. He thumped the table hard and leaned towards the man. Almost making the forehead of the supervisor and his forehead touch in the process.
"Now then, are you so much willing to get your a** hit by my hand?"
Arman thundered in anger.
"You despicable old hag! You called me an underaged and sent me back, yet you are allowing a toddler participate?"
Arman's words rang like an alarm clock in the room.
The girl Arina trued to intervene in the conversation.
"Excuse me, what do you mean by a toddler?"
But Arman completely ignored her.
No, to be more precise, he was so angry that he didn't notice her.
The supervisor first started laughing. He then sunk into the chair behind him, still laughing. Finally, he controlled himself and curled his lips up.
"Ms Arina is a Deathbringer. What are you?"
To this, Arman had no answer. He lowered his head in shame and embarrassment.
On getting no answer, the man dabbled through a bunch of monologues kept on the table and checked one of them.
He then started to laugh in an even more wilder manner.
"Hahahahaha Hahah, a mere destroyer? Aren't you?"
To this, all others also started laughing.
Arman's head lowered even more.
He walked backwards and then turned around to leave.
Arman came out of the building.
Even though he was out of the building, he could still hear the laughter.
Arman wouldn't forget the embarrassment he faced till death.
But yeah, he hadn't given up yet.
He took his phone and dialled a number. It was the Helpline of the Killers' Association.
"Hello."
********
A few minutes later.
In the same room 'section C',
All of the team members had gathered.
They were about to initiate the raid.
But then, they heard a voice coming from behind.
"Stop!!"
Everyone shifted their gazes to their backs.
Arman was standing there.
The supervisor thumped his own forehead and muttered,
"Kid, it seems that I will have to teach you a lesson your parents should have taught you long ago."
Arman didn't react to this at all.
He just pointed towards the man's pocket.
"You should have received a phone call by now. If you didn't, then you will get one right now."
Everyone including the supervisor himself was confused. Afterall, not a fraction of what Arman said was straightforward. Everything was confusing.
But, to everyone's surprise, the supervisor's phone did ring. The ringtone echoed in the spacious and unrealistically silent room.
"Excuse me."
The supervisor picked up the call.
"Hello." He said.
"You damn M******uc**r!"
A curse came straight to the supervisor.
He was surprised and angry at the same time.
He replied with a ferocious tone.
"So are you!"
The one who was talking on the phone then replied with a tone of greater vigour.
"You dare to talk to the V.P. of the Killers' Association like this?"
The supervisor was turned upside down.
He hadn't expected it to be the Vice President himself. Afterall, such a dignified person would never use such words.
But, the words of Vice President of the Killers' Association were expected to be in this tone.
They were already struggling to deal with the situation. And this guy, is making things worse! The Vice President's Blood Pressure, which was already on the level of hypertension, soared up to the sky.
He was now ready to kill anyone.
"What happened sir?"
The supervisor asked, in a stumbling voice.
"Why do you want to make the King of Heaven an enemy of the Association?"
The Vice President threw another question.
The supervisor was even more surprised and shaken. Two big figures involved in a single mess, and it is concluded that he was the one who caused the mess?
"What? Why would I do such a thing sir?"
"Then why are you messing with the son of the King of Heaven!"
"What? Who?"
"The son of King of Heaven, Arman!"
The words of the V.P. fell like a nuclear bomb.
The supervisor fell to the ground right where he was standing.
But there was no time to be shocked.
He quickly consolidated his 'state-of-balance' and ran towards where Arman was standing.
"I'm.. I'm very sorry sir, that won't be happening again! Please.. Please..—"
The man so much started crying.
He then paused his sobbing and continued.
"Please sir, don't tell your father.. No no, the King of Heaven about this. Forgive this lowly being. I have two kids who haven't even learnt how to speak!"
Arman didn't know what did those at the Killers' Association tell this guy, but he now knew that him being the son of the King of Heaven had a great influence on how he would be treated. Perhaps, if it wasn't for his dad, the Killers' Association would have pretty much ignored Arman's complaint.
Arman finally took a deep breath of relaxation.
But, the relaxation was only momentary.
The supervisor had given away that Arman was the son of an inhumanly strong being.
Everyone was looking at him either with a gaze of envy or fear.
Except for two.
The 'old man Dai Ito' and the 'toddler Arina'.
Dai Ito stared at Arman as if he were a box full of nuisance. As if Arman was a disaster.
As for Arina, she wasn't even looking. It seemed that the name of the King of Heaven had no meaning to her.
'Now that I think about it, she is quite beautiful.'
Arman thought, thinking about when he referred to her as a 'toddler'
Arina, she had sharp jaw, round eyes and red lips. She had pink coloured hair. Ofcourse, she had dyed them pink. Though she was very beautiful, she couldn't be compared to Eveline.
Not only did Eveline have a perfect face, but perfect body proportions as well.
"Alright Everyone, so let's start."
The supervisor said, gathering everyone right infront of the giant mechanical structure.
The technical experts operated the machines and soon, streaks of lightning started to appear from the coiled rods.
And in no time, black light formed a curtain and wrapped over the entire ring.
This was a portal. They led to faraway locations. The Killers are more of a guerrilla squad than an army. They secretly destroyed enemy even before the enemies would come to know of the attack.
One by one, everyone started to enter the portal.
And finally, it was Arman's turn.
He took deep breaths, calmed his heart, and cautiously took a step in.
"It'll be alright." Arman said comforting words to himself and entered the portal. And then, all kinds of eerie sounds ringed in Arman's ear. He started to feel nauseous and the entire world was spinning. Though the sensations were mild, it wasn't normal.
And soon, he found himself and a strange place. Was it a hallucination? No, it wasn't. Because the other raid team members were right beside him. Everyone was minding their own business. Except for the old who was supposedly called, Dai Ito. He was staring at Arman with an unusual gaze. His jaw was dropped and his eyes were wide open.
Arman combed through his memories to see if he had done something wrong. But he found nothing. Dai Ito then asked in astonishment "Isn't this supposed to be your first raid? How come you are perfectly fine after crossing a portal for the first time"
"Uh, about that..." Arman recalled the description of his class.
[You are a myth, beyond the legends. You are immune to all kinds of illusions, curses, and debuffs]
It was only one of the many benefits of being a mythical existence.
Being Mythical meant that there were people out there who saw Arman as their saviour, even though they didn't even know him.
Arman had a good look at his surroundings.
They were in a place which was cave-like.
Behind him was a gateway, the one which they had come from.
And infront of them was another gateway, the one they were headed to.
Everyone stepped into the gateway and Arman did the same.
And then, he was completely shaken.
They literally were going to war.
Yet, they came to such a beautiful place.
Green bushes, soft breezes, the leaves dancing randomly.
And a mountain lush with greenery.
Everything was normal except for the purple sky. The sky was blue on Earth and pink on Mars. So it was obvious that its colour would change on other planets based on the composition of atmosphere.
However, Arman hadn't imagined that he would have to go to another planet.
Arman was now asking himself, did his fate have a thing for mountains?
Whenever he goes to an unknown location, he ends up with a mountain being the destination.
Same was true with the Duncan temple raid.
Arina then stepped forward and pointed towards the mountain.
"Our enemy is resting behind that mountain."
