Chapter 45 - Chapter 45.

[You experienced a breakthrough!]

Arman now reached level 17.

He gained 30 new stat points, and 140 stat points were also there which weren't paid attention to. In total, there were 140 stat points to be invested.

"I gain 10 points per level."

It made sense. Arman was level 14 earlier. And he became level 17 now. And the number of was 170.

Leaving things to later, Arman swung the upwards, and brought the sword in from the right.

The opponent was cut twice, once in the abdomen, and once in the chest.

He then kicked the soldier who was gasping for breath. And soon, a fire ball followed.

[You have slained A Goblin]

[You have gained XP × (2000)]

'Goblin', that is what these alien creatures with long noses were called. Though they weren't real goblins, their physique was a lot similar to that of a goblin. They had a transparent fluid instead of blood flowing through their bodies.

And the fluid would vapourise instantly after flowing out of the body. So there was no fear of becoming dirty and stenchy. They dropped too much XP compared to the difficulty of killing them. The body designs showed that they were a lower form of life.

As Arman was thinking, another Goblin striked him from behind. Thanks to the armour Arman was wearing, not much damage was dealt. But the attack completely disrupted Arman's balance.

Arman wrapped his hands around the back of his head while his body rolled once over his head. He then kicked off with his legs and came back to his feet. It was something he had learnt while trying learn to dance. Though he couldn't learn dancing, this one thing remained beneficial to him till date.

Arman went in open for the enemy. The opponent noticed the opening and striked. But to the surprise of the middle-aged Goblin, Arman dropped down to the ground on his knees. This caused his knees to skid, getting Arman to the back of the Goblin. He then quickly turned around to do a leg sweep.

Taken aback by the sudden attack, the Goblin soldier fell straight to the ground, ofcourse, it was a head first.

Arman then rapidly stabbed the Goblin many times in various parts of the its body.

The speed was so high that the alien couldn't even scream.

[You have slain A Goblin]

[You Have gained XP × (2000)]

A normal human would drop 15 XP on being killed. So 2000 XP was a great for something only a few levels higher than a normal human.

Humans continued massacring through the Goblins. Arman wasn't on the level of elites like Arina, Dai Ito, or other few members, but he still was able to outperform the aliens.

Still, Arman wasn't included in the direct fight against the aliens. He was tasked with safely escorting the injured members of the squad to the healers.

It wasn't a low job. It required a lot of responsibility. The injured members trusted Arman with their lives. For this job, a relatively strong individual was required.

Arman brought an injured exterminator with him. The Goblins had ganged up on him. Both hands had deep cuts and leg had been injured too.

Though the injuries were deep, healing magic was capable of bringing the body back to shape. But till then, the exterminator ranked Killer was nothing more than a sheep among wolves.

Two high ranking Goblins saw this and came after Arman. Arman summoned two Hell WindBreakers to deal with them.

[Hell Windbreaker 35 Has been summoned.]

[Hell Windbreaker 67 Has been summoned.]

Though the registry of Arman's army had millions of heads in it, there were no more than a few thousands. The rest of them were yet to be created.

Arman had become familiar with almost all of the soldiers of the world of unending flames.

He now knew which soldier had synergy with which soldier. And one such pair which had a deep bond was the pair which was just summoned. These two were childhood friends who grew together, trained together and fought together. They had developed such high level of co-ordination that they could communicate without talking.

And using their synergy, these two Hell WindBreakers dealt with two High ranking Goblins who would be a nuisance even for their master.

[Hell Windbreaker 35 Has slain a Goblin]

[Hell Windbreaker 67 Has slain a Goblin]

After entrusting the Killer to the healers, Arman rushed back to the battlefield.

In another twenty minutes, all the mess was cleared.

[Understanding of a Goblin's anatomy has reached 100%]

[You can now easily spot the weak points of a Goblin]

[Proficiency in dealing with Goblins increased by 10%]

[Title has been acquired.]

[Show description]

Arman initiated a command.

[Title: ]

[Description: You have killed many vampires and Goblins. This has increased your understanding of Goblins and Vampires. Hence whenever fightin both Goblins and Vampires at the same time, you will deal thrice the damage dealt normally.]

[Rating: Normal]

[Grade: E]

Though the title was completely trash, it was better than having nothing.

And also, one couldn't get a title just by killing a few members of a species. For that to happen, one has to slay so many that the population of that species should suffer a big blow. But it was due to Arman's Myth Rated class that he was able to obtain the title easily. And it was apparent that he will get even more titles in the near future. Because, his Myth class makes even his low level accomplishments count as a high level one. Meaning that higher feats would bring him even more power.

Seeing that the title was useless for the time being, Arman focused on the battle. He didn't have any regrets of obtaining a low level title. What if it was a useless title? He could upgrade it later by killing more Goblins or Vampires. Afterall, the Duncan Temple wouldn't let anyone who destroyed a holy shrine of theirs.

But little did Arman know that the Duncan Temple was in ruins.

A Goblin jumped high in the air with a dagger in hand. But it met a horse kick from Arina who bent over her back and placed her palm on the ground. She then revolved on her own axis to bring the leg to spinning. This hit all the Goblins who were near.

This was Arina's twelfth raid. She too had become a Killer very recently, since she too comes under the category of a minor.

It wasn't that she had abandoned her studies. She had finished them long ago as a child.

She extended her right arm and raised it to her shoulder level and hit a Goblin with the gigantic hammer.

This created a big shockwave and many Goblins were killed in a single hit.

[You have slained Goblins (15)]

[You have received XP (30000)]

This much XP was more than enough to raise Arman's level by one, as after killing many Goblins, his XP bar was almost full. But, having reached a very high level, Arina required way more XP than Arman to level up. It was the point where all these Goblins together won't be able to fill her XP bar by even one percent.

Things were similar for Dai Ito too.

Both of them were meant for high level raids only. Yet they were sent here.

Dai Ito didn't know the reason. But the Vice President himself had personally explained it to Arina. But the identity of the blacksheep wasn't revealed to her. She was told to be wary of every other member.

Aliens?

The Killers worked like a guerrilla squad. There weren't many incidents where the raids failed. The reason being the correct approximation of the difficulty of capturing each location. As for how they evaluated the targets so accurately was a secret.

So, even if a few Killers were caught, it was almost impossible to pinpoint the location of one single planet far away in the vast space.

And with her experience over the past eleven raids. Though these aliens were better than humans in terms of technology, they weren't complete outliers. Meaning that they still lacked the capability to easily travel from one galaxy to another.

"Something seems off."

It was natural to be suspicious. Those at the Killers' Association had little evidence to show that it was aliens.

Though it was unknown whether it was Aliens or not. But, if it was Aliens, Arina was sure that it wasn't that faction of Aliens which the Killers fought. It should be a relatively closer neighbours.

Such thoughts were circulating in her head. But she didn't think about it too much. She was here only to act as an emergency protective measure against the one in liaison with the aliens.
