Chapter 10 - Purple Snow (Part 4)

Jashan and I were walking back to the entrance of the mall when we saw the other two wearing peculiar expressions.

"What's with that idiotic face?"

"The plant asks if you checked your phones."

I looked down on mine while they were talking and saw a new notification from Luna, the company's system.

God knows where or how it got our contacts but if I think about it too hard it's not really that suspicious knowing the line of job Crescent Moon Company offers. Anyway, it was the venue of the party.

'Oh, it's a ship! I've never been to a ship before!'

The thought of it made me excited but I quickly frowned when I felt a piercing gaze from somewhere.

'Huh?'

I looked up and saw Polly glaring at me as if she wanted to kill me on the spot.

"Sharp-eyes, you shit. Are you that happy? I was even nice to you and that's how you treat me?!"

What? Huh? What did I do?

"You can't blame Hyung. Everyone who heard this will probably sigh in disappointment or laugh at you."

"Fuck you!"

"Why are you even on the top four strongest when you're an idiot, have flimsy fears like the fishes, and have seasickness at the same time? Seriously. How pathetic."

Ilya walked up to me. Her every step is graceful as always and then she leaned in and whispered so that the two won't hear.

"The plant said you're such a villain. You smiled after that Polly girl poured her heart out. But the plant doesn't hate your rotten attitude."

"...Ah, I see."

That doesn't help me feel better but it did help me understand the situation.

'I should apologize later.'

We went around for a few more minutes and then went back to our mansion, mainly because Jashan was about to throw a tantrum if we stayed there for a few more minutes.

* * *

I was the first one in the chopper. Twenty minutes after I arrived, the second one entered the door.

"You look good," I said to Ilya.

She smiled at me and raised her plant, "The plant says stop hitting on Ilya."

...But I wasn't. When did I even do that?

Hey, isn't this plant a little too cautious around me just for that damn mistake earlier? It's not like I want it to happen! I... ah, never mind. I can't lose my head over something like this.

"Let's go already!"

"Fuck! I said I don't want to!"

"You idiot! You're even more than a child than me!"

"At least I don't threaten older people about throwing a damn tantrum in the middle of a mall, you blackie-bastard!"

We saw Jashan pulling, or more like dragging, Polly to the chopper. I almost laughed at how similar it is to an owner forcing a kitten to take a bath.

'Oops.'

I looked away when Polly glared in my direction.

Jashan used that instant to smack the back of her head and then dragged her body inside when she lost consciousness.

BLAM!

The door shut and Jashan plopped on the floor next to Polly. His forehead was sweaty and he looked really tired as if he just finished running a marathon.

"Huff, huff, huff. Heavy... idiot..."

I shook my head at him.

'Poor kid.'

Then I remember that this poor kid smacked someone in the back when they least expected it. Thinking that made me stiffen.

'Mm. H-He's a little vicious though...'

Ilya saw me and then she looked at the pilot before whispering, "The plant says you better drive fast if you don't want to anger that annoyed pervert over there."

But I had no way of knowing what she said because I was too busy thinking if I should avoid Jashan or not.

'He is OP too. maybe I'll die if he slaps the back of my head.'

Just thinking about it made me alert.

"The plant says you should hurry," Ilya whispered again with her gentle voice.

"Y-Y-Yes, Ma'am!"

The pilot stiffens up like me before he drove.

We arrived earlier than expected at the venue.

And only Ilya knew why.
