***Flashback***
Edric was having a business trip in K City, Country N. He asked Phil to buy something in the convenience store outside while he stayed in his hotel room.
While waiting, Edric got bored and so he decided to go out. He grabbed his thick padded fur coat and a cap and then walked out of the door.
Everyone were wearing thick clothes outside because that day was the start of Winter and everyone were anticipating on the first fall of snow.
Edric strolled around the street until he reached near the train station.
While he was going near, he had to pass by a dark alley and he heard a quite sob coming from it.
At first, he thought it was a kitten or a stray animal thus he ignored it.
But then as he passed by, in his peripheral vision, he saw a child's leg poking behind the huge trash bin.
And so he retracted on his steps and checked on it again.
He wanted to ignore it at first but there was this nagging feeling he had in his heart even if he had not seen the child yet.
