Violet woke up before everyone else so she could leave this place early.
The idea of staying here was not really bad.
Beside the fact that she could enjoy her privacy here because she's not sharing this room with a dorm mate, the entire floor was vacated, too.
Ever since the suicide incident, rumors of this entire floor being haunted had became popular among the students and their parents. So no one had dared to be assigned in the three rooms in the third floor.
There were three accommodation types designated for the female dorm.
The first one was in block C where students would share their room to two or four students and had to go to a public bathroom to shower, p**p and p**. All in all, there were four buildings for this type of accommodation.
The second one was in block B where you can share the room with another student but your room had its own bathroom, shower and toilet room. There were three buildings for this accommodation.
The last one was the most comfortable among the three. It's located in block A.
Here, a student would be staying alone in one room with an ensuite apartment-like setup where in you may chose to cook your own dish since there's a kitchennette packed with basic appliance such as, electric cook-top, rice cooker, double-door refrigerator with freezer inside, microwave, heater, kitchen utensils such as plates, spoon and fork, mugs, glass, knives, chopping board, wok, pans for frying eggs, ladle, and pots.
Instesd of a bunkbed, it had a queen-sized bed on the loft and a desk and computer table with cabinets and drawers for clothes were placed below it.
There's also a decent living room for a visitor to sit and get comfortable while watching TV.
The good thing was that there's a private toilet and bath inside so she didn't have to go out in the middle of the night just so she could take a shower.
Of course, the rooms in Block A were the priciest given that you could enjoy a much more private life when staying in this dorm.
The third room costs fifty thousand peso per month which was equivalent to more or less a thousand dollars when converted.
And the room that she was in now was located in Block A of the dormitory compound.
P University was one of the expensive universities in Country P. And it was one of the top three best universities in the standings currently.
Given that she had a received the hiring bonus that Edric McWilliams had insisted for her to take, she could afford to pay the entire semester and she could still have enough money left for her to buy the things that she needed for Jane to have for a slow transformation.
After she had changed into her yesterday's clothes, she then put back her disguise and made sure that she had locked the door properly.
She then made her trip towards Aunt Flor's room so she could return the key.
Aunt Flor was still in her sleeping pajamas when she opened the door.
"Good morning Aunt Flor!" She greeted.
"Good morning too, Jane. You're so early. Did you even sleep? Come in!" She asked the girl with her still sleepy voice.
It was still six in the morning. It's also a Saturday so it's a given that most students were still sleeping. They would be waking up late and that's for sure so the breakfast time was adjusted in the cafeteria and was usually served at eight in the morning during the week ends.
But of course those who wake up early could have theirs earlier than eight.
"Sorry, did I wake you up?" She asked politely.
"No! You came knocking when I am probably five minutes awake. You know when you reach this age like me, I find it hard to wake up early especially when it's my day off." She explained.
Saturdays were Aunt Flor's off every week.
"Oh. Happy off day then?" She then paused as she returned the keys to her.
"You don't have to return it to me. You may keep that. I'm sure after enjoying a more private sleep, you would want to stay there." Aunt Flor said knowingly.
"I'm not going to lie, Aunty. I kind of like it there. Might as well after breakfast I'll go to Dorm Mother's office and will ask for a transfer of room there."
"That's lovely to hear! Do you want me to come with you, then?" Aunt Flor beamed.
"That's very kind of you Aunt Flor but I would like to do it on my own. I'm sorry." She apologized as she felt bad for her.
"That's okay. Anyways, I'll just be here for the whole day. Don't hesitate to come and knock on my door if you needs my help." She offered.
"Will do Aunt Flor!" She said.
"You're such a beautiful child with a good heart Jane. You deserve everything in the world. Remember that." Aunt Flor said with a smile.
"Thank you Aunt Flor. So, I won't stay longer. Go and enjoy your beauty rest, yeah? I still have to go back to my room and hope that Betty has finally come back so I could get in." She said.
To be precise, it was more like she hoped that when she got in, they were no longer inside the room so she could leave in peace.
Violet walked towards Block C where her old room was located.
When she arrived on her floor, she used her keys to open the door. She then slowly turned the door knob open and took a peek inside to check if the young couples were still entangled in the bed.
She heaved a huge sigh of relief when she saw that the bunk bed below hers was empty.
That meant they had left last night.
They had probably snuck out when everyone was sleeping soundly, including her.
Violet wasted no time and packed up Janes clothes and the things from her locker.
She had also changed into Jane's baggy pants and faded T-shirt and placed her dirty clothes in a separate plastic bag.
After making sure that everything was done, Violet then locked the door behind her and went to the cafeteria to go and grab some bite.
She had to go to the school compound so she could have her breakfast there.
To avoid congestion, there were three cafeteris in the university compound to cater the number of students who would want to eat there.
Violet went to the one where she usually take her meals
It was more peaceful than the two others.
Less bullies ate there.
Well, students from the Block C from the female dorm ate there together with the Block C of the male dorms.
And they were somehow lesser bullies than the other students.
The troubling part was that since this cafeteria was near the soccer field, most foot ball players would eat there whenever they had practice.
But since it's morning, there's no practice yet so she's safe.
Violet had made it into a habit to eat near the corner to not block the other student's view.
She had an scrambled egg and hot dog, a cup serve of garlic rice and a cup of hot chocolate for breakfast.
Violet ate her meal as fast as she could.
She thought that after she had moved into that room, she didn't have to eat in a public place like this since she could just cook her meal.

"What did you say? You wanted to move from your original assigned room to that ghosted room?" Miss Josephine, the dorm mother asked her.
"I'm sorry Dorm Mother if it is on a short notice. But I really wanted to move there as much as possible today." Violet said.
"Don't worry Dorm Mother, I have already saved up and I can pay the five months worth of rental in the Accounting today." She continued.
"Why do you have to change? It's only five months before graduation you know." Miss Josephine asked her again.
But before Violet could even answer her question, Aunt Flor knocked on the door and she came in.
"Aunt Flor?" Violet looked at her.
"Flor, what are you doing here?" Miss Josephine asked her, too.
Aunt Flor smiled at Jane and then she had become serious when she looked at Miss Josephine's face.
"Josephine, please let this child stay in that room so she can enjoy her remaining months in this school and in the dorm peacefully." Aunt Flor didn't beat around the bush and said calmly.
"Flor, I'm surprised that you have personally come here to plead for this child. But you know after someone died in that room, it had become haunted and no one dared to live there. And now, here she comes. Asking me to let her transfer in that exact same room. I just finds it suspicious." She said as she looked at Violet.
"Student Jane, what makes you decide to shift into another room? You have been living in your former room in Block C since the very first day you have stepped inside the campus. No one even didn't want to be dorm mates with you except with Student Betty." She asked her.
"Can I just transfer without raising any suspicions from you, Dorm Mother? I just wanted to be alone. And that room can give me the space that I wanted. I don't have a good relationship with everyone and that's well-known to everyone." Violet sighed as she was trying her best to be convincing at the same time make sure that Miss Josephine won't find out the real reason.
"Student Jane, it's not my call at all. That room was bought by the family of the student who committed suicide for an unknown reason. In fact, the mother would still visit that room once every month as they believed her soul is still stuck in that place that's why it had become haunted." Miss Josephine told her at the same time looked at Aunt Flor.
"Flor can prove it." She then added.
"That's why I am here Josephine. My sister has agreed to let Jane to stay there until she finished university." Aunt Flor then looked at Violet and continued.
"And since that room was bought by my sister for my niece, then, you don't have to add additional payment on your tuition fee."
Violet's eyes widened in surprise. Was it for real?
Aunt Flor smiled when she saw the surprise in Violet's face. She knew what she was thinking so she made a quick nod. Then she looked back to Miss Josephine and added.
"It's the request of my sister, I am only the messenger."
Miss Josephine had no other choice but to agree to it. But still, she would surely investigate this matter and know her reason.
She didn't like nor dislike Jane and that's a good sign for Violet.
"Well then...since it's settled, collect your keys from her and you may start moving your things. But before that, fill-up this form for your change of dorm assignment."
That form was for documentation purposes.
When she was done, she then hurried back to Block C to get her things.
Aunt Flor insisted on helping her to move making the task to be easier than usual.
After they were done, Violet then invited Aunt Flor to have a snack at the nearby cafeteria but Aunt Flor declined saying that she would be going somewhere and she'll be back later tonight.
Violet felt bad about it because she could have left earlier should she not insisted on helping her.
It was almost lunch time when Violet was done unpacking her clothes and things which she had arranged beautifully on the cabinets.
With the help of Jane's memory, she then turned on the air conditioner and the refrigerator which she planned to stock up with goods later.
Her room in Block C didn't have an AC in it. Only exhaust fans, huge windows and ceiling fans were used to ventilate the entire room. So it was really hot during the summer. That's why Betty didn't want to stay there.
And now, she would be staying in an air-conditioned room with the available home appliance for her to use.
She also read the manual which was well-kept on the corner of the counter to make sure that she was using them right.
After she was done with everything, she prepared herself so she could go to the nearby grocery store to buy groceries that she would be using for the month.
She's nervous to do it as it's going to be her first time going there but she had Jane's memory so she's a little bit confident that she could do it.
But even before she could leave the room, she heard a knock on the door which made her curious.
She thought it was Aunt Flor who happened to forget about something.
But when she opened, she saw a man standing by the door with a bag of items on his hand which looked like...
'Groceries?' She thought.
"Phil? What are you doing here?" She asked him.
