I used my Yin Martial qi to speed up my thoughts. I was thinking if I should decline or not, I know it's not really a big deal, but what should I do? Maybe I'll just decline, I want to get back to cultivating as soon as possible.
"I don't mean to question Miss Lan's intelligence, but you do know I'm only in the middle stages of Foundation realm I don't think I'll be able to even hold a candle to your strength." I said to her keeping up my straight face.
"I understand but I'm just curious, what can someone who's been taught by a master such as Che can do. If you manage to land one blow one me, then I won't bother you again." she replied, I really can't get out of this with out sparring huh? Might as well get a little combat experience.
"If that's what you wish Miss Si." I went into my combat pose. For a while we stayed there as the wind blew silently then suddenly a fished jumped out of the water and I took that as a signal and ran towards her, but at speeds of fifth level foundation realm.
I channeled Martial qi into my legs, which had gave me a boost she seemed a bit surprised, but I layed a punch in which she parried, but I didn't stop I delivered a number of ferocious hits laying in some faints in the mix as to throw her off.
My continued onslaught placed her on the defensive. I wasn't going to allow her a chance to counter attack, but that didn't go as I thought as she parried and gave me a slap in the face, but I shifted my body a bit so I could at least lower the damage, but somehow I was sent flying a bit back.
She then rushed towards, it seem she wants to go on the offensive, I then charged my entire body with Martial qi to boost my physical strength as I blocked and dodged a few of her blows.
With each blow striking my arm a numbness settled in, and with every dodge I could feel the air rippling a bit.
I did a few summersaults to gain some distance but she rushed towards me and closed the gap almost immediately and threw one punch which I blocked by crossing my arms.
I concentrated a lot of martial energy to arms, I was then thrown into the river but I managed to stay on my feet even though the water went up pass my ankles. Ugh! My shoes are now wet what a pain!
I sighed and dashed towards her while concentrating Martial qi to my feet for another speed boost. I threw a punch which she dodged then another but that was a faint, which gave a me an opening.
I then followed up with a kick which I aimed straight for her stomach, the kick landed and she took a few steps back.
"*SIGH!*" I took a long sigh as that fight was a bit tiring. "You did well thank you for the spar." she said as she bowed and walked away. I hit the soft soil as I took in a few more breaths.
"That was fun!" I said as I smiled a bit nothing was more exciting than that fight. The only times I ever felt this was at the birth of my children are when I watched an awesome fight scene in an anime.
A huge smile then graced my face. "And to think they are even stronger people!....*Sigh!* I'm way too weak!" I need to get way stronger if I want to be able to reach whatever God realm exists in this world.
With a renewed vigour I took my bucket of water and brought it to my little shack and washed off.
*Knock Knock Knock!* I heard a knock from my door way. I got up and opened the door to see a servant I recognized it was Len Min a servant that was very close to my mother, she helped me when she could but Len Cang assigned her to Len Hui and his mother Li Siju.
"Elder sister Len Min? Do you need my help?" I asked her she's done a lot for me I want to see if she's at least okay.
"Little Hai your father has called for you." she said sadly, my brows furrowed at this but I nodded and replied "I'll be there."
