Tu Shen left his son to recover, while walking back to his quarters he stopped suddenly and placed a hand on his chin. 'But wait didn't a powerful martial beast take over the mines back when grand father ruled?' said Tu Shen.
'I wonder, who those fellows were, they probably knew it was at Martial Master, it must've been a really powerful sect.' he couldn't help but sigh and shake his head "It's a good thing those fellows never caught Tu San."

I just finished enchanting a pickaxe I bought from the shop. I added a few such an increased power and I added a rune similar to fortune on it to see if it would work. I doubt it will but I can dream.
I took it up and stored it, then I took two large sacks and walked out the base I then activated the rune and which turned it invisible and left to towards the old mines.
It was located in the Dead End Mountain, I don't know why they stopped mining their but it's possibly they couldn't fine any more resources located there.
Soon I came upon huge spiky mountains it didn't look natural at all, they were some way in the distance they were so huge, I calculated some went way beyond the clouds, their even bigger than mount everest...Bullshit cultivation sizes and distances check.
I kept walking on a stony path until, I came upon a cave, the entrance was huge I walked in with my pickaxe. As I did I saw a number of claw marks on the walls. I immediately place a concealment formation on myself, it hides sound smell and and turns me invisible along with my martial qi, it's the greatest assassination tool.
I'll be abusing this a lot.
Anyway I kept walking and I saw iron. I immediately used my pickaxe and took out the ore but unexpectedly I found multiple appeared after I mined it out. I threw it in the bag and took out a normal pick axe to which I began to mine but I didn't have the same reaction. So in conclusion -
Runes and Formations are Op. I must reconfigure some to make them more useful in combat imagine it, I can nullify and seal martial qi the thing cultivators rely on and need in combat.
A cruel smile formed on my face as, but I didn't have time to day dream, I kept walking and eventually I came upon a corpse, who ever it was they ore all black. I guess I was right to use the concealment formation.
I searched the body and found a few pills, but they were of a lower grade than the pill I used and they were expired, using them now will only make my cultivation go berserk.
I left it and kept walking and I found more bodies which had a better sword, well before I added the runes, but I also found a few gold until I found a giant silver wolf, it was way bigger than anything I've ever seen before hell it was bigger than a dire wolf and they are over 5 feet so this about 12 feet!
Eva what's it's cultivation I can't tell from so far?

What! My eyes widened as I thought. How long has that thing been alive, it probably over a hundred or so years to cultivate to that level.
I took out my sword I'm gonna sneak up on it. I rushed in and charged my lightning qi on the blade to increase the piercing power. I aimed for it's right eye and *STAB!* my blade cut right through its eye.
*ROAR!!!* It immediately got up and roared as a huge amount of wind starts picking up around it and fucking tornado formed it was flowing around it, the winds were sharp and it flung me away and gave me a few small cuts.
So it didn't finish it off, damn! Guess it's too shallow.
The wolf began to search around using it's sense of smell, hearing and vision but it couldn't sense me.
Thank god for this formation or would've been killed if it could sense even a whiff off me. I waited for an opening in the tornado, it took a few minutes, which felt like hours with the amount of blood lust this thing was releasing, but I found it.
I ran towards it using martial qi to boost my leg strength, as I closed in on it I jumped up. I need my sword to finish it off so I grabbed it and ripped it out.
The wolf saw my blade disappearing along with it's blood on it. The wolf raised its paw and charged a huge amount of wind qi into it and fired it off towards my location.
*SHING!!!* I barely dodged it as the high pressure wind blade sliced through the wall.
Holy Hell! How did it find me the formation is still up! I began moving but it kept through blade after blade at me until I noticed it's blood was dripping of my sword. Any non living thing in contact with me immediately becomes invisible but the dripping blood is giving away my location! Smart bastard.
I used some water qi to wash it off while I ran around dodging it's attacks after my sword was clean, I charged it with lightning qi and began to compress it around my sword, it's about time I made an original attack.
"[Lightning Javelin!]" The compressed lighting morphed into a spear like construct it looked a bit chaotic.
I threw the thing with all of my strength and it struck the wolf sending it flying into a wall, said wolf howled in pain as a huge amount of blood gushed from the wound...it still wasn't dead and I lost 70 percent of my qi.
I walked over to it still concealed as it cried in pain, when I heard a small whimpering like a puppy, I looked at where it originally stood and saw it was wolf cub....so its one of those cliches.
*Sigh!* I looked at the mother struggling to hold onto life. I should end her suffering, I took out my sword out of and slit it's throat.
Looking over to the pup I saw small flower beside it with a lot of qi coming from it. I potted the flower and took up the pup it's eyes weren't even open as of yet which means it must've born recently..... Guess I'll now have raise this lil guy, wouldn't be great on my conscience to leave a baby after I just made it an orphan.
