Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Expulsion (3)

I walked to the Len family mansion with Len Min she was silent the entire way, so was I. Len Cang wasn't so stupid to try kill me now would he.

I mean even though it's a lie, he knows I'm the student of a powerful master and the Tyrant Sword Sect would want my favour as I could form a connection with such a powerful and skilled doctor and expert, they would beat Len Cang to death and probably strip Len Hui and Len Shu their spot in the Tyrant Sword Sect.

As I arrived at the Len mansion entrance I began to reminisce, I had a lot of good memories in these halls, yet a lot of bad ones.

There were times when I used to play with and be friends with all my siblings, we even had a better relationship with the other children from the other major families, we weren't friends but we could tolerate each other.

Though that all changed when I was revealed to be a cripple then started the bullying. Which due to Len Hui's talent, they felt that Len Cang favored him more than them to which they took their frustrations out on me.

Which led to their over inflated egos, which spiralled into them earning the ire of the other major families. And Len Cang didn't mitigate this, he had the highest cultivation in the clan and city and he had an extremely talented heir that was soon stepping into the martial disciple realm in a year or two which is a huge milestone in this city. Of course he'd be over confident.

But his over confidence doesn't mitigate his sins, he's had multiple infidelities and my mother couldn't do any thing but weep at her bed side with me to comfort her.

He promised her love and security she gave him her love, but he continually stepped on it by sleeping with any woman that came into contact with him.

As I walked in the meeting hall I saw Len Cang and the six Elders which over see this family, sitting on their chairs I could see my 9 sibling looking at me with a mix of disgust and hatred.

"Len Hai the reason we've called you here to tell you that, your now expelled from the Len clan. You are to move out if the lodging we gave you by tomorrow morning" said Len Cang as he took sip of what I could only think is wine due to the smell and slight red hue on his face.

So he's drunk, great! I cuffed my fist then bowed and replied "I shall do as you say Patriarch Cang!" I won't question his decision are fight it. I'll just leave and don't turn back.

I simply turned around and walked as I ignored the smiles and snickers of my siblings as I exited the gates, I breath a sigh of relief.

Weird why do I feel so different like huge weight was just lifted off my shoulders. I guess I finally feel free. A huge smile came onto my face.

"Hahahahaha!" I laughed out loud as if I was in glee. I was sporting a huge smile. This came to a surprise to many walking on the streets some even questioning if I was mad. I of course couldn't feel any more happier.

"Len Hai?" said Aunt Min I turned to her the smile still on my face. "It's okay big sister Min and please don't call me Len I'm no longer such."

"I see then, I wanted to give you this." She gave something rapped in cloth, which looked old, it seems it had quite a few years on it. "Your mother gave it to me that to give you, she saw how your siblings were treating you, she thought that they would steal it, so she gave it to me to safe guard it for you."

"I see thank you big sister Min and for all the years you looked after me!" I bowed to her, without her and Tu Shen I'd probably starve of hunger many years ago, I'm extremely great full to these two.

"Can you answer me one question?" I asked her "What is it?" she replied "What is the surname of my mother?" My mother wasn't from the Len Clan hell she wasn't from Soothing River City.

"It's Ken her family name was Ken."
