Synopsis
Chin up, back straight. Don’t falter, don’t slouch. Don’t wear slippers, wear shoes. Don’t drink beer, drink wine. Don’t play the guitar, play the piano. No curses but smile. In a house where it could never be called a home, Louise is a child of wealthy old money but a soul misfortune. When she scratched a knee, she wasn’t allowed to cry. When she failed, she received slaps, when she succeeded, she was criticized. Surrounded by a strict mother, careless father, and an intrusive sister is not what she imagined her whole life would be like. All she ever wanted is a room to breathe in, be herself— the real her. Someone who would not wear a mask, someone who would not create a fake front. Not the daughter her mother try to keep her up to be. Bound by all the ruckus and incessant nagging, she rebelled against their wishes. In a single night of alcohol within dizzy lights, she met a man who gave her something she did not ask for but she didn’t know she needed. . . a seduction. It’s a play of flesh and skin. Tangled bodies and sweaty foreheads, loveless kisses and platonic hugs. There’s no more than what’s in the bedroom, no more than the casual relationship. Is physical connection really enough? But hey, not all seduction is physical, right? ----- Story contains rated-18 contents. Background picture from Pinterest. Word count 1-2k words at max.

"Do you feel it?" he asked me.

I gulped. Betrayed by my own expressions, I failed to hide the reaction he tried to draw from me. He's never been so bad with these. All of what he shows is an artful masterpiece, never fails to elicit his desired outcome.

I bit my bottom lip, trying to hide the fact that I nearly drawled out a gasp that would satisfy him in a way. But I cannot manage to show him that I am affected because he would be delighted. And if mother discovers what I do in secrecy, she will disown me, throw me out of the family register.

"Don't deny yourself, Louise"

But I do. I should because I am expected to stay pure before marriage, to assure my mother that their traditions are still being followed.

But it's hard to resist a temptation when it introduces itself in the form of a handsome man, clad with irresistible appeal, hands that felt heavenly and made the hairs at the back of my neck rise, and they way he would tower over me, take my own personal space in his hands.

He could easily crush the wall created in front of me. He can watch me crumble, suffer because I have fallen on his deception.

"You want this as much as I do" his whispery tone sent chills in me. My legs trembled but before I could fall on my feet, one strong arm held me by the waist to steady me.

When I look at his eyes, all I see is the need I only feel when it comes to him.

The man who corrupted me just because. The man who made me the rebel I did not aspire to be. The man who changed my life because I am not who I should be.

Valen Pierce, I've fallen in your arms.
