The long never ending walkway it seemed to never end. I pay attention to what people say, trying to catch a glimpse of what was I going to face. I was nervous. Will I be capable of carrying a conversation like all the people walking with us?
It felt like I was in a human herd, snd customs officers were the sheep dogs.

We were asked
Where we came from
How many of us - we were a family travelling
My brother looking after my dad
Myself looking after my mom.
My other brother stayed behind.
Later- he goes
I'm not ready
He was married and has a daughter
He stood back for when we get settled down.
Soon it's going to be more than 25 years.
We are still settling down.
