"What is this place....?" She said as she looked around. I had prepared railings too for safety measures. Leila Went to a corner of the platform and looked downward. It was a beautiful view of the town. down below and beyond that we could see…. the horizons all around us look so broad. The sky felt huge from this high up too. It seemed that as much as the ground below, we could see, the sky was even more vast looking up here.
"I made this place with earth magic. Someone did help a lot in this too."
"Don't worry, you've given more delicious food than anything I've given you."
Ridge I told you to not eavesdrop! It gets embarrassing come on.
"Ooh ! sorry sorry, I was just checking with you. well bye then, enjoy your candle light dinner!"

"Really! It's beautiful. I never thought I could see anything like this ever!" Leila had gotten quite all of a sudden. I got worried if the height freaked her out or something. although she said something, I couldn't catch it, she talked really softly.
"Um we can…."
"No no, it's just all my life I have been trying to learn magic and try if I could fly.. but I was not good with space magic... so that dream had to be served, but now I could see such a majestic sight... It is really a dream come true. Even though I can't fly, this is also satisfying….." She said with an emotional voice. I could sense now, that she was very moved by this experience. The Leila that always seemed to try and hold back her feelings… had long been left behind… The Leila standing before me now looked to be the real girl who was shrouded behind countless veils until now..
It may have been a fluke but I may have discovered today one of the reasons for Leila to be obsessed over magic.
What? Was there such a dream for her? so I technically did pass.. Now that I think about it, I am lucky, even if it was a hit… it really did come out of nowhere. I only thought that the height could work if I got rejected and wanted to get rid of myself.
Starting work first and then thinking about it, I went forward with the preparations. Looking at Leila, I think she needed some time to calm down by herself. I made all the food appear on the table from the storage at that time, then I changed to a black tuxedo. It was my special occasion wear I made with miasma.
After looking at the view, Leila looked towards me. I had already done all the preparations. So while looking at her, I said,
"Have a seat.." she gracefully came over to the chair I was holding. After she sat I fixed her chair. Then I kindled the candle in the middle of the table. The whole table became lit by the candle's dim light.
"You know If you try this hard I won't be able to think straight..." Leila said as she looked at me. She is really trying to stay calm. Even after she tried this hard to stay calm, her voice is still a bit shaky… I avoided it and started to bring out the dishes.
"It's really a lucky thing that you liked this place.. I only thought it would be nice if we could have a quiet dinner apart from anyone around us..." while saying that, I opened each of the dishes. There was fired chicken although not chicken and fine mixed fruit juice that I had gotten from the capital. After that was some salads and side dishes, since the burger and fries were the main attraction, I had gotten one burger and some fries too. These were all the main dishes. as for Pizza, let's bring that out once we finish this.
"Now please have some, I did make these myself…"
Leila nodded and took a bite of the fried Chicken. Her pleased expression said it all, it had been a hit! She tried some salad and then looked at the main attractions of the fast food of course.
"Here like this.." Since it was a new food to her, she didn't really know how to start eating, so I took my burger and showed her by taking a bite. My face did get a little sauce on it but hey sometimes eating a burger gets messy! Not to mention, this burger may be called fast food… but it was a premium burger… man it was tasty.
Leila followed my suit and then she took a bite. She had a pleased expression again and she even finished it. I also finished my burger. It was very delicious. Fast Food made at home can be tasty on another level, also the meat was top quality so as juicy as it was, every bite was something else. even the lettuce was very crunchy and the pickle and tomato provided a freshness to the burger unlike any other.
"So what's this sticky white stuff?" Leila asked
"That's cheese.." I had painstakingly made many batches of cheese but only one batch had turned out well enough. I had no idea how cheese was made, so all this was done with hunches… even this one was just a fluke but going forward I think I will wait for someone who can help me make it. There is no reason to waste perfectly good ingredients after all.
"It really brings out the flavours…."
"Yeah, cheese is a flexible ingredient, you can use it in desserts too."
"Wow you know your stuff don't you? Also the fries.. It's very tasty too, are these spices new?? I think have tasted these flavours, but at the same time I don't think I have.... What wonderful food! it's nothing like I've ever had before.``
"There is a reason for that. This country is very poor in spice usage, mostly they bring out flavours of different food by using top quality meat and dairy products, so my approach for food was definitely a step away from this one." as I drew in a breath, I continued.
"Well it's all about the spices! I mixed many medicial herbs and made a new spice!" as I said, I prepared for the final showdown, the thing that no women can withstand, it was
"Now here are the desserts… that's called pudding, this one's cake… and Ice cream." Yes, it was deserts of the highest quality. every girls weakness!!!
"My! the Ice cream looks different somehow.." Leila said looking at the dark coloured Ice Cream.
"That's right, it's another flavour, you have got vanilla that we made and then this is chocolate flavour." That's right, with Ayna's food knowledge I had been able to find chocolate but it was a small amount so I was only able to make a small portion of it, most of the chocolate went towards making alcohol so finding the base ingredient was really hard. It seemed that the times I had been able to find chocolate on my own was by luck. It was a rare ingredient here.
"Oh my god, I knew these would be delicious but all of these are beyond Imagination! The pudding feels like it's melting in my mouth. The cake is super fluffy and now the Ice cream is.. Truly out of this world" as Leila complimented my food while she finished the deserts faster than I had thought

"Like it! This, I can love it, it's something else entirely, I don't think any woman can resist you after having this!" Leila was practically blooming. Guess desserts are very powerful things. after coming here it took some time for her to become normal again, but it seem she finally perked up.
"He he.. Thanks for the compliments…." as we finished our dinner with a happy look, I asked Leila to look up. The mood was great around us but it still needed to get much more romantic. Sometimes the perfect mood can do great in these types of situations…
"Hey Leila, look up."
"Hmm. yes I see it's beautiful."
"Then how about now..." with a punch pushing the limits of my strength I blew away the clouds that were blocking the full sky. We still could see the moon but the small bundle of clouds were hiding the full view. What's better than a full moon on a candle light dinner…! I am bringing out the most romantic night the 21st century had thought of. of course, thankfully the clouds weren't too high up on the sky, my luck really was great!
We waited for a few moments then I heard her say.
"Oh my god...." She was speechless. It was a sparkling sky with stars all around. My punch had blown most of the clouds away, the moon clearly made the sky brighter and since we were so high up, it especially looked majestic. Only in a world like this can you create a place like this. As I was in the fantasy world I read about in many folk tales, I made a point to push myself to the point those folk tales can be related to. And it seems that was not a waste.
"Say Leila, would… you spend your whole life with me…?" I asked her. It felt like the time became still. my heartbeat got faster While saying it. I was nervous but Above all I was ecstatic that I could say it….. We were both standing now. I looked at her straight. I was really nervous but I had to do it. ever since I met her. She was the one I was drawn to. I don't know why maybe because of her beauty or her cool aura but I know I had to say it. I just have to have this girl!
"Really! I.. will.. Gladly.. Stay by you… all my life!" She said it ! she was still for some moments but her face looked red at the time she replied to my confession… Listening to her answer made me feel as if thunder had gone through me...
for a moment it felt as if Leila was ready to say that a long time ago, or rather had she said something like that a long time ago? I don't know? it might be my imagination playing tricks on me...
Yeeeeees!!!!!! My nervousness had been blown away but my heart was racing even faster than ever before. It was pure happiness. The first time I saw her she looked like a cool beauty who could never have such a shy side but now she looked like a high schooler who had just been proposed to by her crush…. The difference made me even more drawn to her… do girls really have so many sides to them? How can she show expressions that can surprise me so much…
This was the day when Leila had at last let go of her feelings and laid it bare for me to see. She didn't hold out on her thoughts or feelings one bit. Just like how I had asked for her, accepting me, she had also come to let go of her reservations.
As I went towards Leila and I held her. She seemed to let herself go in my grasp. She was shaking a bit. I don't know why but I know one thing. She had trusted me to become my partner and was now on my hold. My face got closer to her. I felt her heart was racing too. Her face was flushed red ear to ear, but she was smiling. As our face got closer I could feel her breath, her scent and…. our lips met. We shared a kiss. As if electricity coursed through my body. It was a new sensation.
We parted from each other but the mood was still romantic. I took a hold of her again.
"I don't know where the confidence to actually get to this point came from Leila… but please… stay with me by my side for all my life." as I said,
"Me too… don't leave me… No matter what." a rather forceful tone had been used at the end, but my heart felt as if it was gripping itself, as if I was making a vow that would even surpass death itself, no matter what, I won't leave her in this life.
As I was going to kiss her again, sealing our confessions, we were interrupted. The tower shook a little. I Immediately took hold of Leila and started observing.
"Ridge, can you tell me what that was….?" the romantic mood was severely destroyed!!!
"Rekka, it went all the way up there too?… Well I didn't want to disturb you but here see for yourself….."
"What's that dinosaur…..?" Ridge shared her vision with me..
"Huh Dinosaur..? What's that? But no this is a behemoth, it somehow came and attacked the near vicinity without us realizing it. "Ooh! That would be very nice of you.. So what do you want for saving the town?" I hadn't even shown her my skills yet she was already thinking about my reward, I wonder if this is what is called spoiling… guess dating someone older than you might get you spoiled..
"Hmmm….. " we were now falling from the sky. The tower had already been dissolved. Since it was my magic. I could make it as though it never existed so in this falling sensation I was flash stepping my way to the fight. It was happening right outside the town's gate. The walls there had already been destroyed, but it wasn't a problem because people didn't really live there. It was the market district, so at night it was obviously closed, still since we needed to stop the wreckage and damage to minimum, I hurried to the place.
Gramps and Granny should be more than able to handle these events, but the thing is, Gramps has already lost his priced sword. As I looked at the beast, I could see it's rock hard exterior. As for granny, her explosive magic would probably devastate the city itself, in a way, I think that Gramps and Granny were mostly used as world ending weapons in this world. They could show explosive strengths but that also resulted in explosive devastation too…
As I could clearly see the huge dinosaur that looked like a tyrannosaurus. I made a beeline for it.
"Well Leila, as a Reward, I would like a nice land. Now in some moments we would impact the ground… I probably would be able to handle the impact, but I think it is better to not push my girlfriend who I just started dating… So can you teleport from me to the ground? hmm lets see, Alice would be a good support for a mage type like you." as I said so, Leila looked surprised, I don't know why, but as she understood, she showed me a refreshing smile worth remembering and
"Try to keep the damage at a minimum okay? And as for my appreciation for such a magical night…." as she said that, she moved closer to my face. I was carrying her in a princess carry, so as she moved closer, she kissed me. I thought she was timid but maybe her maturity is not for show. And for some reason the kiss on the cheek left a burning impression… ah... what was this feeling? I first thought as if since it was my first time being kissed like that, I was just ecstatic, but what was this? it rather felt as if I was relishing the feeling that I had lost.... sigh... I have to think about this later.

I was dropping straight toward the monster with my weight increasing. I was aiming towards its neck. since it was a big monster over 20 feet in height. We needed to slow it down fast and its neck would be the perfect spot for that. As I barreled in full force, I hit the monster's base of the neck with a kick.

My impact had made a big sound making the ground cave in too and the behemoth struggled after getting a critical hit. I thought that the impact would injure me too but I was totally fine!
It's been quite some time since my fight with Alice and my Cell to Cell remodeling was constantly upgrading my body after all… I had reached a point where it really was amazing.
My handling of magic was also increasing. Although it felt like I had only come back from the Edge of the world a few weeks ago, the life that I lived now felt a lot faster. Maybe since many people are occupying it and I am living through the life with them. And today after Leila had accepted me… I believe it will get even faster…
But the rush that came with this… I can never say that I will ever regret this feeling of rush. I was not alone anymore… there was someone for me after all.. The future that I am gonna share with her…
