It's been almost a month since I knew I was with eggs. The amount of food I eat has doubled and I am awake only 3 hrs a day. It's quite frustrating because sometimes I don't have enough time to set traps. I also feel like I am not warm enough for the babies and I don't like the smell of wood smoke, so I can't even burn fire to warm myself.
Today, I had the time to sit in the sun and it feels amazing, really. But I seem to be having pain in my lower abdominal area. I know from the original memory that I am going to give birth soon.
Right now, I am searching for a place to give birth because a snake beastmen's eggs cannot be moved immediately once they are laid so they need to be protected well.
I buried soft weeds with soil and covered it with my skin that I shed last month. It became a perfect towel.
I have been in my snake form since my belly started growing this way. Human form is too burdensome for my belly but this snake body isn't comfortable enough either.
I have got to do everything fast because as soon as I lay eggs, there is going to be a battle. When giving birth, huge birds like eagles get easily attracted. Considering they are triple the size than that on earth, it is even more frustrating .
When snake beastmen are in a group, it's easy to lay eggs. That's because the males or anyone near her, guard and protect her and her eggs. But now, as I am alone I have to protect the eggs with all my power. Well, Pujan is there though.
Even if I go outside to ask for help nobody will help me because I am someone who was born outside. Worst case scenario would be my eggs getting stolen by the beastmen outside because even beastmen would eat eggs if it's not theirs.
The plant spirit, Pujan, helps a lot by informing me if I have anyone approaching the territory. In return, I feed him everyday. The plant spirit also seems to like children. It always tries to touch my belly whenever I go near it.
I have also started to make traps, considering the fact that I will not be strong enough to defend myself after giving birth. It is good that I will only have three eggs, as mentioned by my guide,it shall be easier. Most beastwomen outside would be in a group of three when giving birth. But I don't have such privilege because snake beast women lay eggs only in summer, which is the only mating season for the rest of the beastmen.
I already had two owls in my trap today. This will save time to find food for 2 months and babies will have their new blanket soon . Now I can give birth peacefully.
The cave is somewhat warm now, perfect for the eggs. I feel sleepy again, I'll get some sleep now. I hope more birds get trapped. Eagle meat is said to be quite tasty. Maybe I should leave one or two alive so we can have it when the children are born when I trap some.
"haaye... I wish I had someone to talk to.. Pujan always wants to sleep. Why is it lazier than me?"

Deep inside the green woods, where no traces of the beast were seen for over a 100 years, now some unusual birds and one big fat snake can be witnessed. She seems to have jewel-like scales, is twice the size of American green anaconda and is curled up in a large cave facing sideways.
"ahhhh it hurtsss"
The loud scream attracts more and more birds that come closer to the cave.
Snap!
Another group of large birds lie upside down in a wire. It seems to be made out of the snake's skin. It then is tightly wrapped around their wings. The birds scream desperately to be free.
Snap! Gudel.. Gudel..
The birds scream louder until the stones crush them.
"ahhhh! ... Ahhh!.. Ah.. aa.."
The sound finally stops after a whole day.
The snake inside the cave had laid 3 giant eggs, about the size of a human arm. The snake then curls up into a ball around her eggs and slowly falls asleep. Vines seem to immerse from the altar that slowly wrap around the snake, healing her with little light around its leaves.
Just as the sun rises, the snake opens her eyes and slowly leaves her eggs to turn into a human. She takes each egg one by one one and slowly wipes them with some water-soaked beast fur, cleaning all the sticky liquid off of them only to kiss them later. The beautiful white eggs are rather soft unlike chicken eggs.
She cleans her surroundings and throws all the pots that broke when she lashed her tail in pain.
She slowly covers the eggs in a soft blanket made out of feathers and her skin. Seeing Pujan get close to the eggs, she carries the basket right besides the nest towards Pujan and makes her way out of the cave.
"Haha! that's what you get coveting my eggs", she says as she comes out of her cave to witness something bizarre.
Seeing the sight in front of her, she squints her eyes.
There were many, large and small, birds spread in the ground in traps with large stones squashing them.
The woman ties ropes around alive ones and keps in a cage that she had prepared. Dead ones were buried in soil.
She then proceeds to pick up all the feathers and keeps them inside the cave after washing.
Finally, clearing all the traps and cleaning the area that looked like a murder scene, she proceeds to take a bath in the river.
After cleaning herself up, she goes inside the cave to sit with the eggs and Pujan.
"I wanted to meet you so much! Thank you for choosing me."
At first, she was quite skeptical about all of this. But now, she wants them to give her company really badly.
It was quite hard to accept at first. She is far from home and in a situation completely bizarre to her. She also needs to provide for the children. She always wonders if she would be able to do it. She knows that the children suffered a trauma. Knowing that they would have their memories of their past, makes her feel worse. She always thought she could do it. But, knowing all that, fear surfaces again.
Will she be able to do it? Can she create a good future for these children alone?
But now, looking at the unstained eggs, she could tell that she was ready to have them come to her life.
