It is quite common for snakes to not show affection to their own children. But in this beastworld (the world where simu is right now) surprisingly it is quite common to have children taken care of as beastman usually live together. The snake beastmen here are not cold to their offspring and would actually take care of them for a long period of time.
"If the parents of this body were alive that leopard would never have been allowed to come close to her, never. But well that's how I even had the chance to be in this body so, I guess it's okay. Everything that a person does will come back to them whether it be good or bad. The leopard will get his retribution sooner or later. "
"It seems that I already have semen in store. The lady seems to have done some naughty things before marriage. Well, it doesn't seem to matter here as marriage is actually a topic that disgusts many. If it were my previous world, the auntie next door would have gossiped about it all the time."
(Fun fact : Snakes can store semen and wait for great lengths of time to bring forth their offspring)
Thankfully, the babies always take after the mothers beast form. So I don't have to see another leopard shape-shifting again. I don't have any problem seeing a snake like me in the future, even better if they have scales like mine .
It will take more than 10 days to go to that place. So I am just going to use the waterways. It will just take me 2 days and I don't even have to move on my own. The water will push me and I can sleep all the way till I reach there .
Or so I thought.

In the river near the green wood, if one were to look closely, they would find a black and silver snake covered in weed, tumbled down into the stones and frantically pushed by the waves. The river is muddy and with dead creatures all over. So it doesn't seem unnatural to see the snake; it seems dead too. After all, who knows how long until the snake finally caught a tree trunk and climbed up to the shore.
The large snake then turns into a woman. She seems to be in her 20s. She had long hair that touched the ground which was covered with mud. She took deep breaths as if she were in a hurry. Her legs were tangled in some blue plants. She slowly calmed down and started to move after a while.

"Oh my head! It hurts too much.. Oh At least, I did reach if it was not for my guide telling me I arrived who knows where I would be . Who would have thought this river would suffer a landslide aftereffect? I am never travelling by river again!
It amazes me how snakes can survive without breathing for a while.
I walk for a while and finally find the abandoned cave. It has the perfect humidity and is completely free of life. Finally I have my own place to live.
After looking around for a bit, I changed into a half human-half snake form.(the upper half being human and the lower being a snake body). I started to hunt according to the original memory.
Around dusk, two different types of birds are seen upside down in the cave on some tree vines. The cave seems cleaner than before after my hard work. The scattered bird feathers are settled now too.
I would have never been able to hunt by myself. It's good that I have original memories ..My nails still stink of those birds though that I hanged on the vines after my hunt ...Why am I still smelling blood?..ugh
After who knows how long, I collected tree branches, dry leaves and piled them up to a place and used stones to build a fire. Of course I ran away!
Eww the smell... I don't like it. But I cannot eat uncooked food and I need to store some meat too… Thankfully, I only need to eat once in a while.
After the smoke lessens, I pile up some more dry leaves and let the fire do its job on the hanging meat.
For the entire day I cough hard and go running to the river back and forth which leaves me completely exhausted. I finally got some rest under the tree. And yeah I have a swollen face too.
Finally my roasted meat was ready.. Then I change into a snake again, well it's a time saver. All I have got to do is swallow.
"I think I am losing myself after just two days"
I return to the human form, come towards the cave and sit outside for a while. Seeing the two moons in the sky, all the emotions that were forcefully suppressed finally come out.
".. Hic.. aaa..Waaa...wa..moom..babaa..wa.."

I don't know when I fell asleep but after long hours of sleep outside the cave, naked, I would have been in the headlines if I were in the previous world. Thankfully I'm not there anymore. Thinking about where I am now, I feel like crying again. I might as well take a bath.
This place doesn't have any currency and the beast actually do everything by themselves. That's good too. I don't have to see anyone and don't have to make money for a living. Well, I don't have to eat more than twice a month. Maybe I should plant some vine growing plants near the entrance of the cave it may look beautiful that way. Waow.. This is what I call life. Let's stay positive.
The river was flooded. Oh nooo….I don't have water to bathe. What kind of life is this? Ughh...
( Fun fact: Snakes can't stand smoke.They can hold their breath for up to several minutes or even an hour depending on what species the snake is. Snakes don't need to eat all the time which makes them an excellent pet if you're thinking of owning one..hehe)
