The first thing Chris did was explore the large farmhouse. There were at least ten different bedrooms, a grand kitchen, and even a living room. It was strange because Chris had never even heard of such a farm being so close to a Simple village before, yet this looked like it had existed from way back.
Now in the main living room, Chris drew the curtain back a bit as he peeked outside. The black cars were no longer present, and there didn't seem to be any sign of K or his men either.
'So they really all did leave, and they expect me to stay in this place?' Chris thought. Not that he could walk back to Simple village from this distance anyway.
The electricity, the water, shower, everything seemed to work in the house, and his first point of call was to use the bathtub to soak his stress.
