It seemed that Mai's life had lately turned into one wild roller coaster ride. Today was literally the first time she had ever heard anything about her Uncle Nicholas ever pursuing a career in the education system. When visiting he would often complain about 'today's kids', the only exception seemingly being his nieces and maybe their friends. The man was impatient and also had quite the temper, making him less than an ideal candidate for the job.
The only good trait he had as a potential teacher was that he had always had an easy time explaining even the most difficult things to a younger Mai, but that alone surely couldn't be enough of a reason for him to start teaching, right?
